Derr me should have seen corner clue there...
Stick on the ground behind left lamp, combine with towel to make a torch. Look up in door view for a poster you light on fire to get color clue.
Cute game - had a little trouble identifying the animals, but no language barrier.

Cute game except for the corners clue. How are you supposed to know they are upside down, and the last 2 are not filled in so you have to guess. Rest was logical and solvable.
figure everyone is gone now, but in case anyone else is confused like lilrascal...
Corners clue isn't upside down, the dark square is the "missing" piece in each block leaving the actual corner shape.
The last two have no missing piece, they are complete, and hooked together, so to speak.
Hint to Guru's animal hint:
the gray one he called a 'snake', but apart from the split tongue, it looks like a tiger...!
the yellow-ish one he called a tiger, but it might as well be a (domestic / wild) cat...

The animals are the twelve animal zodiac. This year is horse. By the way, #5 is dragon (not a frog).

The japanese zodiac has 12 animals and from Guru's hint I wasn't getting them right. The numbers/animals are
2 - ox = cow
3 tiger
4 rabbit
5 dragon
6 snake
7 horse
8 sheep
9 monkey
Forgot what 1 is, but that's not difficult to work out.
Loved it, great game - for once the Japanese took pity on us and helped us with their numbers!
