Find key in cup - get into kitchen - find hammer and smash pot for clue for fridge I think. Can't read it though - anyone around who can?
'apple' doesn't work on green box - multicolored box has something to do w/ vases but IDK what

Looked around on the website - this appears to be their first game.
I'm not finding any hidden pixels so I guess I'm stumped by the language barrier. Can't think of anything else to try! I'll see if I can copy and paste those characters into a translator...
Had to make a screenshot and dropped it into Google images - found out that the cross w/ dots is called a 'reference mark' - got a site on 'how to solve code puzzles' - nothing useful on the Japanese characters, lol.
I'll sleep on it - maybe I'll dream that someone solved it :)

well I had another idea so I'm still awake. I screenshot the characters 2 at a time like they appear on the paper. Found out the first character means 'cow'
second pair might mean 'therapy' or maybe 'thunderbolt'
3rd pair: karate? Fighting?
The last pair, where it says 'answer', I get nothing useful. Probably I'll have to go to single characters to figure this out. Right now I should really be sleeping so I'll do that. Try again in the mornng if no breakthroughs

Finish the magic square and out
Smash apple with hammer to get the magic square note.
Scissors are bottom left next to the cupboard with the 3 vases.
Open the bag of coffee with the scissors, put the coffee in the glass coffee can, then use the red coffee can on that to get the coffee in there and then the cup on that to get coffee in the cup (or maybe it was this last step the other way around: can on cup). Drink the coffee and you get the end key.
If you're having problems solving the magic square, here's the top row: 10, 5, 8, 11
and the first column: 10, 3, 15, 6
