Love these games!
Going in..

ok, I will admit it, I can not get the flame hint! Placed dial, see hint, don't understand!

Can't find dial... Already figured the 4 buttons would give a hint for the flames, but can't solve it without the dial :)

Anne, check the lids again where you got the number from.

POP!!

Thought the hint was telling me that when 4 cooks have fire, and dial is on #1 that the 4th position should be at 1. But that doesn't work.

Jo-Ann
Count for how many "notches" each cook has fire.

I've solved all the puzzles, I think, but I can't find the third piece of candy. I suck at finding things. :)

Still struggling with flames though.
Tried: all full, click lower button, 3rd back to zero, click button, 1st to zero, click button, click button, 4th back to zero, click button, but that doesn't work (since that is what you get when clicking dial from 1 to 5)

Flames:
Turn the dial to the left. How many cooks have a flame?
4. so, click all 4 blocks once.
turn the dial one up. Which cooks have a flame now?
go to the blocks and clicks those.
Back to the dial, turn it one up again. Which cooks now?
etc.
I changed the blocks every time I turned the dial. That worked best for me.

It's simple, you just have to count, how often the fire is burning while turning the dial around, and then "light" the appropriate number of fields. Count the fires for each row
(hope you understand that, my English is not good enough for complicated explanations...

I think the third piece was

Out now!

3rd candy is in flowerpot next to the flames puzzle.

Thanks Jo-Ann! That did it. I think I tried to click on the table rather than on the plant before, because I couldn't zoom in.

Be nice when you clicked on items it stated what they are.

HUGE thanks Unknown!

I just needed that hint of yours, I didn't want everything spoilt away!
Just right.

This is how I did the cooks/flames thing (bottom is left most position on dial, then turning left to right):

Thanks to arrie NL for the dial!

Love how these games change slightly to remain challenging.
And how the frogs are always there and always play a different role.

For laughs, here were some of my notes as I went:
count teapots & kettles? No -- take temperature
need knife for pumpkin? No -- give to frog!

(I also noted the colors and numbers on the books.)

love these games.

The flame puzzle was IMHO the worst this series has seen so far.

Th other stuff was the usual.

Getting a 503 message. :( Maybe they took bio's complaint seriously and a fixing a puzzle.

now I can get in

Finally got the flames puzzle, thanks for explanation. I never would have figured it out on my own!

I actually liked the flame puzzle, because it made me actually have to figure it out, rather than being same old, same old.
