Following Seb's advice, I took triangle piece out of sun dial and opened up the inside of the little cabinet to the right of the sofa. Inside resides a dragon that I cannot do anything with. On the door, is a key that opens desk to get a book and see it is missing a page. Stuck again! LOL
@Jenn Still in the garden? I have a shovel, a little thingy/T-key and a watering can which I used to uncover a square grid clue which doesn't seem to work.
Ugh, Google doesn't login so now I'm Unknown? I see there's another one so I will refer to myself as Unknown2. I followed everyones clues when I didn't get far enough, but now I'm stuck with the square rounds. I have the book with the torn page and combined them with the sword. But whatever I do, no combination works.
Oh s&*%! Cabinet with dragon is now locked again and I can't take triangular piece from sun dial any more. Nooooooo!

Aha! I remembered someone's clue that after seeing the star with red X's you can click on floor in front of double doors and get key for right cabinet. Moving on... :)

Mpfr... totally stuck. I have stone with hints for 4 shapes on back, some kind of scoops and some kind of plug. Can't find any hints on what to do next. Half of you guys is way ahead of me, the rest far behind. So I guess this is what "stuck in the middle" means... whaha!
Totally stuck. Have telescope thing, part of anemometer (semicircle), two pronged button, two photo in drawer, order hint (M shape), bird cage, 3 square hole.....
And now I have a bottle that I can't open to pour the wine out... LOL, this is madness. How do I choose to spend my life...

Back, haven't go long. I am stuck where meritneith was stuck, the 24315 code does not work where I have put the 2 silver balls in the tower.
A few hints from the begining (as far as I remember).
Under the 4 items on the shelf over the sofa you will find the shapes to open left bottom cb of big self unit.
The sd is fixed but that doesn't matter, take whatever needs unscrewing to it.
Add 2 light bulbs to the light stand and repeat the l-r light sequence from the desk. The lamp will give you a new l-r sequence. Repeat that. Press middel button.
The 2 yin-yang pieces will give you access to a dragon. Check the door of that safe for a key.
The dragon is actually a lighter, use your tied up tool on the flame, it turns out to be a corkscrew.
Pour the wine in the white dish where you found a red ball before (next to the bird on the shelf). This will give you the code for the big cb and access to the sword.
Zoom in the sword and remove the cover. Use the sword on the lowest drawer of the desk to get a torn sheet of paper.
Add this piece of paper to the torn page of the book, use the sword on the hint, note the point of the sword and note where the sun (light) and the moon (dark) are
This clue is for the lamp on the shelf with the square and circle buttons, top buttons light up, bottom buttons not.
@Winnie, as far as I can see, you're with tautau and arby.
In the tower I think I need 2 more buttons for one of those boxes - how can it be solved without them ??

@Jenn, tautau & arby are ahead of me. The only thing I could do in the tower, are the butterfly colours and unscrew the stone. Not getting any further. Perhaps I should wait a day or two, to give you all a chance to write a long, long walkthrough :-)

The stained glass flowers are a hint for the box on the wall. Now I just have to figure out how to get the dials in the right place.

Well now you can wash the square grid clue and notice that one of the valves (next to the blackboard) fills or drains the hole next to it.

@Winnie - I'm not sure how I did it - I just tried to rotate the snails to the positions in the clue. Use the RH door for the 1st snail as its the wrong way round for the LH door
OMG Seb you are a lifesaver, today! I found brown book (hadn't even taken second look at book as I thought they were coded), turned it over, found screws, then took it to screwdriver, removed screws and opened it. Got key, burned string from bottle opener using dragon flame in yin yang cabinet, opened wine, poured it into tray, got light sequence for armour, got sword, got piece of paper from half opened drawer, put it in book, put sword on top and now I am ready to do lamp with round and square buttons.
@nokra you need a bent arrow thing to put over the code to make it clear
Obviously, if the lamp code does not work, you must realise that you have to follow the direction of the arrow at the end of the sword... :) You get a key... now let's see where that goes.

@MG did you see the glow in the dark sign? There is an arrow within a house shape. When solving the lock, you wanna turn the arrows accordingly (that is 90 degrees counterclockwise)

@Als: button #4 on the other safe ("clean" symbols, inside cupboard) makes a rectangle with a half-circle on top of it. (muffin-like ;))
Okay, and as there are no other symbols that include a round arc, it must be #4.

linecka / Suppose you press 5 blocks, and if you press button, only 1,3,5 block remain.
So, if you put blocks in the following order,

only odd number blocks will remain,
and it will be the same image that you saw in the garden.
Ohhh, I've just been caught in a FIERCE TRAP!!!
One of the settings with the safes will make a symbol resembling a rake with 4 tines. So far so good...BUT...
If you thought that (as a square is known to have 4 sides) the (imaginary) triangle button would make you a rake with 3 tines, you are WRONG!!!
2nd button from top + dial to SE is the 4-tine rake, whilst there is ANOTHER (!!) setting (2nd button from top and dial to NW) which will make the 3-tine rake (which you will need as well).
This has kept me stuck for 10 minutes now...

Seb, I need help again! I found a silver ball which I placed next to golden ball in bottom of tower (next to dead dragon) but can't find another silver ball. Have noticed some number clues on the wall/floor and seen a black key handing from chain which I cannot get. I used binoculars to read writing on ceiling, but what do I do now? How do I proceed?
I'm stuck in the basement and don't get the glow in the dark hint for the arrows and for the swaures on the wall, I got that whatever I'm doing on the left grid appears on the right one but how to have both with the corresponding shapes??

Nira, I have that ball that came off the pedestal. It's the silver ball from near the dragon that I can't find. Someone wrote to click on cage once and then click on a grey tile under the light but nothing works.
I'm the same place as you arby. I think the symbols on paper combine with the gold box symbols & the lighting up n symbols to solve the remaining gold box (does that make any sense ??)

Dreams, the book you seek is in the right cupboard which you open with pronged tool that you find on floor in front of double doors after you look at star with x's. It is a brown book that is easy to miss.

@Als I was totally dense...OF COURSE! The gold box with the 2 buttons missing is not just a "guide" to get the other gold box open, it also needs to be opened BY ITSELF!

@pdgph, put the sword on the book.. that will tell you the order
@Winnie - you have to enter the symbols on the safe on the other side of the room which has all its buttons. You have to imagine what symbols would be on it as you can't see any symbols on this one. with a combination of moving the dial & pressing one of the 4 buttons you can make thy symbols required. You need to look at the safe with the missing buttons & the one with the missing handle/dial to work out how to do this.

WALKTHROUGH PART I:
- open middle desk drawer and take BOX
- zoom below desk and take RED MARBLE #1 from trash can
- take RED MARBLE #2 from white dish in big cupboard
- place red marbles in box and take COIN #1
- take WINDING KEY from white dice above sofa
- look under the four objects above sofa and notice the symbols
- go to big cupboard and open left doors with symbols from the four objects
- take BOX #2, use winding key and take COIN #2
- open picture above desk and take COIN #3 from frame
- go to desk and align symbols according to picture above sofa and take COIN #4
- put all four coins in device left of sofa, push the button and take DIAMOND KEY
- zoom on plant left of desk and take TRIANGLE KNOB
- zoom on plant left of doors and click the upper left corner and open safe with diamond key, take PAPER

@Tania, can't do that, am stuck on top floor. Have you got the book with the hint for it ? Go back to the first room, then back up the staircase, turn right to see the cage with the dragon, click right next to it on the wall (not on the thing where you have to put the balls).

Emmes, when I see the dragon cage and I click on wall, it brings me on closeup of cage OR on place to enter balls. I can't get the brick that hides the sphere. It's like looking for a needle in a haystack. This is a good game but I am so tired of it now. Stop-start-stop-start...

Ohh...when in the garden, I noticed that it is possible to go BACK UP with the elevator. This usually indicates a requirement in the game and is not made possible just by "pure luck" :)

Dreams, turn the book over! Then approach the screwdriver with it.
For the dragon statue.. I cannot remember the order anymore, but the way I worked it out was figuring out pressing each piece dims it, and light up another piece. And so pressing the tail (the part that should be dimmed) should be last. And since the tail light up the main body, you should aim to press the main body 2nd last, etc...
I start to understand that dragon puzzle. Best way to solve it might be to give those parts of the dragon numbers and note down which numbers lighten up if you click on others...

Got the dragon puzzle. One way to solve it: start with the tail, note down wich part lights after that, click on that part and note down the next, click on and so on. Then start to fill the parts backwards so that the... Hopes that makes sense, otherwise you can still use lotties link.

After the dragon puzzle you can take a chest. Put stones in the chest and chain around to let the light shine...
According to some previous comments, the hint for the lamp must be reversed : top is bottom, and bottom is top. Weird.

The position of the buttons on the book is not supposed to reflect the position of the physical buttons.
Look at where the sword line is.. if i'm not mistaken, the top part says Light, and the bottom part says dim. That means that any button that's above the sword = the button to turn on the light

You have to solve the horn statue first. Look at the hexagon clues (4 of them).
Each clue correspond to one of the 4 clickable bit in the horn statue. Match them (look where the arrow points)
For example, the third wheel from left has color like Black, B, White, B, W, B, W, B, and this correspond to the hexagon on the chalkboard, with an arrow pointing to the "middle" white.
Ah, think I've got the octagonal ones... Look closely... They are all different...

I'm trying my best not to read every spoiler while I try to find a clue for my question...I'm still at the "chess board" and I have the paper clue as well as (have seen) the chess board pic. However, I cannot figure it out. Can someone tell me a BIG hint please? Thanks!

Pop! It just "clicked". Follow the arrow clue, but darken squares like the chess board pic. :)

@seb, if you meant the dark basement room, then the paper should be near one of the stones. I can't remember if you need an axe first. But I remembered the first thing to do is to collect all 3 blue gems.
NVM, green gem is inside rock (needs hammer). Oh well...denseness ahead again...

@cyndee, you need to press the dark part according to the order from the clue. So e.g the first button to be pressed is 1st row, 3rd down

Look closer at the dragon after the water is stopped.
You'd need to get back into the house to look for the other patterns.
