Symbols on dogs: One of the hints does have ears, the other one does not. So do the dogs.
But nothing happens when I set the symbols for the dogs...

ReplyDeleteThis is the second time today I have tried to complete this game unsuccessfully. Apparently some have been successful in finishing the game but there are very few helpful hints here to date from those same people.... I can only find one of the buttons to place in the dog heads; have no idea what to do with the bug or where to put it; have only found 14 of the 21(??) coins and 6 of the 10 Mini Monkeys; and can't find the eye-shaped button to fill the hole at the bottom of the rope in the "well" to be able to adjust the idols for the final heights. Normally these Monkey Go Happy games aren't so obscure and normally the comments aren't so unhelpful, but today, I've hit the perfect combo of hidden/helpless for this game. Also no hint of a walkthrough either....
ReplyDeleteOK, so it seems the symbols I used for the dog in the left room were incorrect (didn't realize its round ears/head and the other dog's pointed ears are shown above the door/gate in the room with the idols with the correct symbols for each - I had reversed them, using the "left" symbols for the "left" room and "right" for "right" not based on shape as shown above the door/gate). The button fit in, however, on the left - and didn't go in to the right when I tried it, meaning the left side had to be done first - but because the symbols were wrong, the dog's head didn't rise to reveal the eye symbol for the door in the "well" below. Once that happened, it was more logical, with the bug given to the mummy boy as a pet(!) and the discovered levers placed as per the "O" symbols on each side of the door/gate. I confess I had to look at the Walkthrough to see what to do, for the first time.

ReplyDeleteMan, some of the "hints" the games give you are obscure... I wouldn't have guessed how to open the "snail stone" gate in a million years so obscure was the hint... I had to consult the video walkthrough.
