  2. Partial WT (not completed yet)...

Code box not working yet; projector can be turned on. Turn right.

Get paper piece from trash can, then pixel hunt for the spot to move trash can aside and take floppy disc from beneath it. (Somewhere on the upper right side)

Look at clock, note time (3:00 + 35 sec.)

Turn right, get unreadable (for me) paper from one of the books, notice safe with 99 numbers and input device with symbols. Click on round circle to see it's a clock input device. This is the 1st thing to solve.

Turn right again, open bottom drawer, get paper piece and lens.

Right once more, attach lens to projector.

Turn right to see what's on the wall. From this you can deduce what all the numbers on the keypad by the door are. Circle must be 0 or 1; triangle is 3, pentagon 5, octagon 8. Since 8=5+3, you can see there's a pattern to it; the numbers above 5 will be the same as 1-4 but with a line added through the middle.

Turn back to the keypad. Yes they're jumbled here. The dot appears only once so must be zero. So now we know 0, 3, 5 and 8 for sure. When we find 1, 2, and 4 we will also know 6, 7 and 9.

Turn around and go to the clock device. Number at the top is 8 so at the bottom must be 2; so we know 7 as well. Now enter the time from the clock on the wall, top button 1st, then middle for minute hand, then bottom for seconds.
    SPOILER: click 7x-2x-7x.
    Get a key.

Turn right to middle desk and open middle drawer for a paper piece. Now you just need the left side of the paper to find out what the heck it's talking about.

Be back later with more..provided I'm smart enough to figure it out, that is!

  3. Push power button on the computer and insert your floppy. Click to find 2 files; one in Japanese, one is numbers that are quite hard to read, but by looking at your screen from an angle you can see them better.
    SPOILER 068-153-096-182 SPOILER

I think these numbers are for the safe, but don't know how to input them yet.

The symbols box next to the safe is a type of Mastermind game. There are 2 numbers on the right; to check what you've entered, press the button. Since it starts at double '0', you know the sun is not used. Keep selecting different symbols until the numbers add to 4. By the way, this box solves the rest of the numbers for us. 1 is the diagonal slash; 4 is the rectangle in a box. So now we know 6 and 9 also, and can fill in the whole keypad.
The # on top tells you that you have the right symbol in the wrong place; if you can get a 4 here, just keep switching those symbols around till the box opens. You'll get a key.

Open the top drawer and collect another bit of paper; from this we can deduce what's on the rest of it, I think. I am not good at algebra problems! Give me a little time, I might get it.

  4. Then again, I might not...
I'm guessing the rest of the paper is in that safe. I'll be back tomorrow to work on opening it. Taking a break now!

  5. well, I got into that safe. Go forward to 68, then click the handle. When you go left again, you'll hear a noise. So it's 68R, L to 53, R to 96, L to 82, click the handle each time you arrive at a number. Get the last piece of paper and a card for the door.

  6. Well, thought I had it, but I can't get that doggone door to open!

O=1, V=2, A=3, S=4, L=6, and E=9; that solves the puzzle on the paper. I assumed that LEAVE (69329) would be the code to exit; apparently it's not. But I'm not sure what else it could be. Keypad wants 5 #s, and there's no other clues with non-Japanese letters in the room. I'm stumped, and hope someone else will stumble on this thing one day, and solve it finally! (The answer isn't SOLVE, either)

    Good luck!
