OMG, where the heck do I click for the darned pliers?!?!? I've clicked until my finger is numb at the left of the nightstand in every view possible. Then I did the came by the cupboard. Is there a specific order in which to do things to GET the pliers? I'm going mad here.... HELP!

ReplyDeleteLost. Have empty bottle, lighter, rocket, filled glass, and pliers. I can't figure out where to put the bottle now, and can't light the rocket. What a mess.
ReplyDeleteI was late, but did get help from the comments above. To help anyone else who may need it, I have tried to put together a walkthrough. There are some things which take a few tries, even when I had done them before, a little bit of pixel hunt, but not too bad.
ReplyDeleteAnd here it is, my attempt at a walkthrough:
1 Click near left bed leg, zoom in and get lighter.
Back out to original view.
2. Click on near window (in ceiling) and open blinds. Get pin from window on left side, about 1/4 way down from the top.
Back out to original view.
3. Click on pillows until you zoom in.
Keep clicking on the pillows until you can get the key.
Back out to original view.
4. Click on cupboard on left. Use key to open. get bottle and cup.
Back out to original view.
5. Zoom in on nightstand. zoom in again on drawers. Use pin on top drawer lock, get wooden box.
click on left at the level of the top drawer and get cutters from behind the nightstand.
Back out once.
6. Click on lamp to zoom in. put cup on left side of table. Fill cup with bottle.
Back out to original view.
7. View wooden box, use cutters to open. get rocket out of box.
8. In original view, put the bottle to the left of the left bed leg. Then put the rocket in the bottle and light it with the lighter.
9. After the rocket flies and hits the light in the ceiling, a key ring falls. Pick it up.
10. Open cabinet again, use keys on locker on the top shelf. get key.
11. Back out to original view. Go to door and open it with the key.
12. Have a merry holiday, whatever you celebrate.

ReplyDeleteI know what you mean. It took me a few tries to place the bottle on my second time through, so I made sure to specify the view needed also. Less of a pixel hunt would have made the game go much easier, but it was not too bad.

Hehh. Found a glitch. I had just put the Fruit Punch (wine) into the glass when I noticed a long black key in my inventory. It worked on the door and i miraculously escaped. :P

ReplyDeleteFor anyone who plays this in the future, the window: open and you will see humps on the left side. Click the sky part near the top of the second hump. Look at your inventory, the pin is hard to see it will be to the left of the lighter.
ReplyDeleteAnother hint for the pliers/cutters when you are zoomed in to the point you can open the drawers there is a black line on the far left of the dresser. Click at the top of this line. One of the times I played this there was a glitch and I could not get them unless I had the top drawer opened.

I always wondered if "left" in the walkthroughs were my left or left in the page. In this case it is MY left! or right side in the room.
