    ReplyDelete
  82. @ notty: you put it on the two middle bars.

    ReplyDelete
  83. @ notty but i think first you have to cut the rope. so the cage falls down. the put the wet cloth on the bars and thes use the wooden stick on the cloth

    ReplyDelete
  84. thnx amg!!i had not cut the rope

  85. @ amg, you have to zoom on wall behind bed.you will get view of wall with crack.use pry bar

    ReplyDelete
  92. @ kelly: i had the same problem. when you look to the bed, dont zoom to the bed, but click above bed (middle) this is how you zoom to the break in the wall

  93. I solved the sliderpuzzle, but i am realy stuck at the moment.
And what cloth are you all talking about?

    ReplyDelete
  94. @ kelly: i mean you have to click above the head-side of the bed (the middle of the head side worked for me)

    ReplyDelete
  95. @ femini: you not only cut the rope of the cage but also the pillow

    ReplyDelete
  107. I know this is a stupid question, but, I have had one drinky already, I've got the key but don't know where to put it (answers on a postcard please), I can't get it to work on the obvious place - the barred door.

  112. i need help with the wall behind the bed. I can't break it with the bar. Hints anyone?

    ReplyDelete
  113. Ugh! Any hints on where I can get the pry bar? I have the wet cloth on the bars, and tried to use the stick (with gum on it) on the cloth per comment #101 but it doesn't seem to work. Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  114. sarahabest, you need to use the pry bar from the basement to break the crack behind bed.

    ReplyDelete
  115. Gary, use the wooden stick (the one without gum) on the wet cloth. If you haven't got the wooden stick, look at the window view again, it on the right (light brown colour).

    ReplyDelete

  134. An open letter to all Escape Game creators.

    Dear Creators,

We, the fans of your creations, have one simple request. It is simple, yes, but very important, and we beg that you will heed our words.
STOP. PUTTING. SLIDER PUZZLES. IN. YOUR. GAMES.
For the love of everything holy, knock if off, you jerks. Have you EVER heard anyone say "Ooh, a slider puzzle, yay, I'm good at these?" No. No you haven't. Because no one is good at them, and no one enjoys them. If by some strange miracle you have heard that, then congratulations, you either know a super genius, a psychopath, or more dangerously, some combination of the two. Kill that person. They are unnatural and an abomination against nature. And since when is it a good idea to do something that ONE person says, anyway? Isn't it more important to appeal to all of us, not just the one person?
Maybe some of us CAN solve these things, but again, have you ever heard someone say they WANTED to? And what about those of us who CAN'T solve them? It's not like it's our fault. Some people just aren't capable of it. Some people can't do complex mathematical equations, some people can't do a layup, some people can't do slider puzzles. You are making it impossible for some people to complete your games. If some of us can't figure out a pattern or a code, that's fine; it can be posted--or at least the method to obtain it can--in a walkthrough. You can't post a walkthrough for a slider puzzle. So why? Why is it there? You know why it's there? Because you were too lazy to figure out a REAL puzzle to keep us occupied. Stop that. Either give us a puzzle with a solution that can be replicated--and does not rely on sheer luck--or just don't post the game until you can. You are alienating your fans, and ticking people off.
So that is our request. Please, we beg of you, don't keep doing this to us.

    Signed,
Every escape gamer who has ever come across a slider puzzle. Ever.

  135. DanManX I couldn't have put it better myself I detest slider puzzles with a vengeance

    ReplyDelete
  136. I cannot find the pin on the door. Have looked and looked. Even restarted twice. Where is it please?

    ReplyDelete
  137. kiwitrish i played this game earlier you have to click on the door i think the bottom bit and when you zoom in the pins on the other side of the door

    ReplyDelete
  138. its the second bar in from the left at the bottom you click you need to click the bottom of the bar

    ReplyDelete
  139. Hear, Hear,DanManX. I didn't even try past the puzzel, but there actually is an earlier poster who does loves these. go figure.

    ReplyDelete
  140. Hey DanManX, I agree with you, except for the kill part..I cant stand slider puzzles either. Ruins the game for me...I can do them, but Im not good at them..Takes me a long time. Yeah, I would venture to say there are more people who DONT like sliders than those who DO.. Whew, them sliders have caused all kind of frustrations here huh..Hopefully after your post, and the posts that followed, game creators will get the message...

    ReplyDelete
  141. This one was a lttle difficult only cause of the puzzle but it only took me one day to do it. HOw funny is that.

    ReplyDelete
  142. HOW TO SOLVE A SLIDER PUZZLE! :)

These instructions work for a 4 x 4 puzzle, where bottom right corner is the blank piece.

Imagine that you have numbered the squares from left to right, from 1 to 16.

Do not concern yourself with the pieces you are not solving - do one area at a time.

Solve the top row (squares 1-4)
    Solve 2nd row (squares 5-8)
    Solve numbers 9 and 13
    Solve numbers 10 and 14
The last 3 sqaures should rotate around until they are correct.

I am NOT smart enough to have figured this out myself, I got it off the internet! Slider puzzles have been driving me MAD!!!! lol

    ReplyDelete
  143. Whew that was a great game except....for...the...F*&%$#@in
SLIDER PUZZLE!!!!!!!!!!! I can do them but it takes forever and then it ruins the momentum and fun of the game. i had to walk away 3 x's out of pure frustration and was going to quit, but tried one more time- not my idea of fun... agree with Dan- but do NOT agree with any violence, or talk of violence

    ReplyDelete
  144. Out and don't like slider puzzles

    ReplyDelete
  145. starshine advice worked well for me, it took a while but keep at it and you will get there..i started from the bottom instead of top though, it helps if you have idea of what peice is suppose to go where before solve from top to bottom..

    ReplyDelete
  146. sunshine not starshine, my apolgies

    ReplyDelete
  147. To Danmanx

By all means voice your opinion, but do NOT assume that everyone who enjoys escaping hates sliders.

    You wrote:

    "Signed,
Every escape gamer who has ever come across a slider puzzle. Ever."

May I add "except Jacky" to that.

I quite like to find a few puzzles instead of just pixel hunting for the screwdriver, so please, next time you feel the need to express opinions on behalf of others, spare a thought for other people.

    Thanks, Jacky.

PS. Please don't refer to the creators as "jerks", if it wasn't for these lovely people creating games for us, you'd be sat there twiddling your thumbs together.

    ReplyDelete
  148. OMG this stupid @^@A&*$)&^*@@!!! puzzle! AMEN to everyone above. I couldn't have said it better. It totally interrupts the flow of the game. Now I'm so damn frustrated trying to solve this stupid puzzle that I don't want to play anymore. I hope the makers of this game are reading this. Sliding puzzles are a BAD IDEA. :(

    ReplyDelete
  149. got video walkthrough,
please copy and paste it when you need help and remember to thanks mehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MfS0KMSMizw

  150. I think, I am the only one who don't have problems with slider puzzles. And really you don't have to be smart for that, it is like chest, look inside your head what the moves will do, and try to remember it....

  152. lol slider puzzles are easy!

Now before you think i'm insane, there's a trick to it:

    1. start in a corner, and do one row or column at a time.

    a. this puzzle is a 4 X 4 if i remember correctly. The missing piece is at the bottom right corner. So your best bet is to start OPPOSITE that, so it the upper left-hand corner. Get that piece first. If you can't figure that out, then just fiddle with the pieces till you realize which piece is the upper left one. Put that into its place.

    b. Now work at getting the one below it (while keeping the upper left in its place). That shouldn't be hard.

    c. Now get the one below that one (first column, third row). It shouldn't be difficult. You should now have the first column almost done except for the bottom piece.

    d. Here's the trick: get the whole (missing space) to the right of the first (1,1) piece.
    i. Move the 1,1 space Right.
ii. Move the 1,2 (the one below it) Up.
iii. Move the 1,3(the third piece in the first
    column) Up.
Now you should have enough space (2X2) to get that 4th piece of the first column into position. Once that is in place, move the first 3 pieces back down into their places. You should now have the first column complete.

Your puzzle is now a 3X4 instead of a 4X4 (you're making progress!)

Do steps 1-4 for the 2nd column. DO NOT TOUCH THE FIRST COLUMN ANY DURING YOUR SOLVING OF THE 2ND COLUMN.

You should now have the first 2 columns complete.

The 3rd and 4th row are trickiest, so bear with me. You'll only need to touch the 3rd and 4th columns, since the first two are done forever. The trick here is that you have to shuffle the pieces into one another to make it work. But with some persistence, you can easily figure this out. After all, the puzzle is MUCH simpler now than the beginning. I hope this helps you all!

    ReplyDelete
  153. For the record, I enjoy "sliders" and I thank the game creators for the hours of fun and sometimes frustration they have provided.

My problem is, I cannot see anything in many of the darkened rooms. I realize they are dark for effect but even with my screen a light as it will go, I often see a totally black screen. Therefore I click aimlessly or quit. Please lighten up.
