ReplyDeleteok, this was weird. Usually, when you turn in one direction 4 times you go all the way around a room and see all scenes. Here, when you're in the kitchen, you HAVE to go left to be able to see the 2 elevator doors. apparently I kept missing this because I was turning to the right.

oh good gosh!! Thank you Xenon! when I got in that room, I thought it was the view of the same door I had just come in. So I kept hitting the back button to go back out. I finally clicked the doorknob, and advanced, not at all realizing that it was a different door than the one I came in. sometimes I lose all brain cells in these games! Finally out. Thanks for everyone's help.
ReplyDeleteWALKTHROUGH (to hopefully spare others the aimless wandering I was doing):
ReplyDeletemajor hint; the tab key will help you find things, but it will also reveal many red herrings (and make you think there's more to do when there isn't. sneaky!)
-click the bar next to the door to get screwdriver/awl
-open the door to enter living room
-turn right twice, click right arm of left sofa to get bucket
-turn right once, click plant and put bucket on top
-use screwdriver/awl on box next to wood door
-enter wood door to get to kitchen
-click on note on fridge. it says to find numbers 1-9 (if you don't click the note, you can't pick up the numbers)
-click back leg of closest chair for close-up, then click to get the 6
-turn right, and you'll get 7 from left of sink cabinet, 2 inside sink, 5 on top left corner of window, 9 on the right side open cabinet door, 3 on the stovetop, 1 in the middle stove knob
-turn right to get the 8, then click the lower middle of the right side of cabinet to find the 4 (tab key helps)
-go back to view of fridge and chairs, then turn left to see the elevator
-open right door of elevator to enter closet
-click bottom shelf plates, and look at the drawing to see the pattern.
-turn right, click circle on door. solve puzzle by sliding pieces to the proper place. when correct, it'll flash to one piece. click writing in bottom right corner to back out
-enter white arch for pool area
-grab L-shaped wrench from behind lounge chair
-back out and find your way back to living room
-put L-shaped wrench on button next to wood door (the kitchen door)
-turn right and enter now-opened hole behind white sofa
-click door (it's locked) then back button to see the plants
-take the pole from the right of the plants
-make your way back to the pool area
-in view with lounge chair, look up
-use pole to remove the hatch
-make your way back to the living room
-click glass table to retrieve hairpin (whatever it is, it picks a lock)
-go through hole behind sofa again
-use hairpin to open locked door at bottom of stairs
-click doorknob to exit
-use the scythe you've been carrying around all this time to hack the weeds in front and to the left
-now you can leave. work your way down the stairs, then up some more and you'll get coffee and cake!
