Excape - First Experience Walkthrough by kitkatfox:
Turn right and face the door
Click on the peephole to look out
Click on that view (outside the peep hole and you can look around)
Look down and see coins outside the door
Look all the way to the right out the door and see text that gives you a clue
It tells you to look in the mirror and look left to see “her” and to click P to catch her for more clues
Click the bottom of the gray screen to go back into the room
Turn 2 times and you will see a red box on the wall
Zoom in and see it is a broken mirror
Click down to zoom out and then turn left
Immediately when you see the ghost girl, click P
(she’s in the corner so you have to click P before making the whole turn -- this may take a couple of tries)
She tells you to stare at the light over head and then at the blank wall
She also tells you a math clue
It will be a 5 digit number where you can put the number 1 in front of it to get a number 3 times smaller than if you place the 1 behind the number
Finish the turn and then turn left from the mirror again to face the blank wall
Look up to see the light
This is an optical illusion -- if you stare at the light in the game for a while and then look away, you will see a cross-shaped floating spot in front of your eyes just like if you stared at a real light
Click around where you see the “cross” on the wall
Note: you can skip all this by just moving your mouse very slowly around the blank wall until you find where it turns to a hand (slightly to the left of center)

Click under the red line to open a box
It asks you to complete a math sequence
It is easy -- 5+ 7 = 12, 7 + 12 = 19, etc. co 31 + 50 = the answer
Type in 81
Click the circle over the question box to get a stick
Everything you get will look fuzzy and you have to click it to make it usable
Turn to face the door and click under it while your stick is not fuzzy
You will get a coin
Zoom in on the mirror again and use the coin to unscrew the screws
Click to remove the mirror and see a place for the password
According to those better at math than me, the equation is 3(100000+x)=10x+1
Solve it to get 42857
Enter that and click the circle for a key
Use the key on the door and you are out!

If you press 'P' just as you turn left and see the girl, the screen stops facing her and that corner and she speaks to you and goves a clue. Also, if you look down when peering throught the spy hole in door, there are round things like coins.

ReplyDelete(Why? Well, adding 100000 puts a 1 at the front of a five-digit number, and multiplying by 10 and adding 1 puts a 1 at the end of a number)
Solving this gives:
10x+1 = 3(100000 + x)
10x+1 = 300000 + 3x
10x = 299999 + 3x
7x = 299999
x= 299999/7 = 42857
The answer is 42857.
