Put the crying boy next to the guy looking under the bench and got money, then got gumball with money and gave it to the girl, then burst her bubble (hehe) and took the gum and a pen. After that I stuck the gum on the headphone guy's back and stuck the paper on there and wrote PJ on it, but nothing is happening now..

ReplyDeleteMake sure you select the boy only. For some reason you can select more than one object. When you have him selected, move your curser around the ground in front of the left side of the bench until it turns into a hand then you can place him. It took me a while to get it too...

ReplyDeleteI erased the PJ and wrote it again and this time I got the little hand, which I used to steal the badge from the cop when he was distracted and I showed the badge to the security guard at the top screen and now I'm free!

ReplyDelete1st scene Take pin on the bulletin board
click right 2x take paper on garbage can, click pin and pop the balloon. kid cries
take crying kid, click right. Put the crying kid next to the boy searching for something beneath the bench - reveals coin
take coin
click right twice and put the coin in the coin slot - get gumball
give gumball to girl - take pen
use pin to pop the bubble - take chewed gum
click left
notice the wanted ad on board (it has PJ written on it)
- put the gum behind the red guy's shirt
put the paper on the gum
highlight pen click the paper on back of red guy
password time! (this aint buggy)
There are 14 slots that form this pattern
highlight the corresponding slots to form PJ
click on the staring kid once you formed the code (no more guesswork here since the code is locked to PJ only)
notice the guard and kid's new image. also you have pickpocket hand on inventory click it
then click the guard's wallet
take the wallet then click right
move up to go to the guard
show the badge to guard and exit arrow appears
and out!

The j looks like the one below, for those like me having trouble, it has to have the kick up on the tail and no cross on top. Took me ages to get that. Maybe I'm just slow, but it's possible that's why some thought it a bug. As soon as you get it right a hand appears in the inventory:
