The second are the cherries? Look at the cocktail book.

ReplyDeleteWell that's part of the problem - I never found a cocktail book! Also, it's very hard to tell that the 7 on my clock is red. I saw the bit before about 7=1, but I didn't realize that was the same as the note with the blue at the top.

ReplyDeleteJoakim et al.: To get the golden globe (not to be confused with the movie award), face bar and click the shelves behind it. Click one of the green bottles on the upper left shelf. Take the statuette behind it.
ReplyDeleteGo into the toilet and face the scene with the bird and the golden globe. Place the statuette on the red "X". Now you can take the globe.
Zoom in on the globe with "about item" and click its base plate. The globe turns upside down, and you'll see a screw. Use one of the coins to unscrew it, and take the key for the staff room.

ReplyDeleteHave you opened the blue box yet? The code for it is Line 1 on the slot machine. Then when you get 3 coins, put them in the machine, push the buttons at the bottom to stop it, and read Line 3 diagonally for the door code.
ReplyDeleteJoakim: The bottom left beige/off-white conversation display has to be clicked when everything else seems to have frozen. Notice the white arrow/triangle that suggests that there are more dialogue to come. Just click through it, and you'll regain control in no time.

Click the coin return button all the way on the right (next to the place you would put quarters) -- get a coin
Note the 1 Line lights are blinking, which are for the horizontal line reading Bar Jack and Bell
Turn left
Click the right ashtray on the bar to get a coin
Click on the shelves behind the bar -- move the third bottle from the right on the upper left shelf and get a totem statue
Zoom in on the middle roundish bottle on the upper right shelf and see a bell with a number around its neck
Back up so you are facing the bar again
Note the right door is locked
Click on the left door and enter the bathroom
Click on the poster on the wall and then click the bottom right corner -- see a note (according to Xenon, it says If you want to get the world pray to the statue)
Click on the sink counter
Place the statue where the red X is
Take the gold globe
Look at it with the about item view and click the base to turn it so you see the screw on the bottom
Use a coin to unscrew it -- get the key
Leave the room
Use the key on the right door and enter the staff room
Turn left
Click between the boxes farthest from you on the middle shelf on the right wall -- get the cocktail book
In the about item view, look at the book
Click the paper sticking out of the top to open the page for the cherry drink and see a number. If you have trouble seeing the paper, back up once so you are in front of a darker background
Zoom in on the desk
Open the bottom drawer and get the blue box (it will sit on the desk)
Zoom in on the code part and see you need a 3 digit code
Back out of the room so you are looking at the bar again
Turn left
Note the door needs a code, but the screen has no power
Also note the lighter dot on the bottom right corner of the door (on the silver kick plate) -- you can zoom in and see this is a keyhole
Turn left
Note the dead woman
Zoom in on her
Click just above the globe light on the table halfway between her hand and drink (it can be a bit tricky to find the exact hotspot)
You will see the other side of the table when you find it
Read the note “Here is 4” and take the jack card
Look at the card in the about item view and click the bottom right corner to see the number on the back

Leave the room
The screen is dark, but don’t panic!!!!
See the white down arrow in the narration box next to your inventory? Click it to progress through the cut scenes. Click the girl to see she is not dead, and click the narration arrow again. Once it is done, you can click the down arrow in the game, and you are back in the bar
Turn left and click the slot machine
Use the 3 coins in the coin slot and pull the knob on the left of the front of the machine
Push the blue buttons to stop the spins
See the 3 line (which is diagonal) is lit
It is for a red 7, cherry, and blue 7
For the red 7, back up (use the narration button to progress through the dialog) and zoom in on the clock
The 7 is red for the hour hand, but what number does the minute hand point to? So red 7 is 2.
Back up and turn 2 times
Zoom in on the keyhole at the bottom of the door
Use the blue key (this turns the power on to the keypad)
Click on the door keypad and enter the numbers based on the slot machine clues
(red 7 from the clock, cherry from the cocktail book, and blue 7 from the note in the staff room lockbox)
