Click the trashcan behind the stove to get a note
Turn right
Click the black thing between the chest of drawers and the shelves
Click the chest of drawers to zoom in
Open the bottom drawer to get the green bag
Back up
Note the stand between the chest and the pillar behind it
Open the cabinet below the shelves
Get the bowl
Back up and turn right
Use the bowl in the water
Turn right
Click under the bed for the hammer
Click the line of dolls and see that you can click their hair color by clicking on them
Back up and turn right
Get the pot from on top of the totem pole
Back up and open the top cabinet doors of the bookshelf
Get the top right book
Click the left edge of the book and pages to turn them -- make note of the colored symbols below the numbers
See that your trashcan note is from the book
Back up and turn left
Use the diary colors to change the dolls

They will light up and activate the totem pole
Back up and turn left 2 times
Use the hammer on the green-glowing thing
Get a key
Back up and turn left
From this view, place the pot on the plant stand behind the small chest of drawers
Use the green bag in the pot -- planting seeds
Use the key on the blue and yellow box on the stove
Look at the trashcan note and see that adding something will get you a gem
Add the water
Use the blue gem on the seeds
Zoom in on the new flower and see that its light plus the totem pole’s light make a new key
Turn left and use the pink key on the door

@redigolo if you want to place the pot, then you have to do it from behind the dresser so the elf can use the table chair to reach.
