ReplyDeletecan't figure anything out. Turned on a button!!
ReplyDeleteYeah same. Maybe a door button but I can't open it. Can't find any objects either. Wonder if the Japanese writing has any significance?!?
ReplyDeletethat's the only thing I've found. Just the button. And I think I've clicked every square inch of the room!!!
ReplyDeleteLikewise. Gee this is a really hard one...where is everyone?!?
ReplyDeletemust all be out on the town!
ReplyDeleteSaturday night and all.
This is tough. Need translator!!!
There is a button on the blank wall.
ReplyDeleteAh yes, maybe everyone's out partying. It's Sunday afternoon here in Australia so I didn't think of that. HELLO? Anyone who reads Japanese?!? HELP!
ReplyDeleteThank goodness ur here Martin, u r brilliant at these :)
ReplyDeleteI just get lucky sometimes...now stuck, again...as usual. lol
ReplyDelete...wanna give us a clue as to where abouts Martin?! Feels like I've clicked everywhere!
ReplyDeleteIt's in exactly the same spot as the others as you turn around the room.
ReplyDeleteI found it...now what to do with it! Sign came off wall, has a device behind it.
ReplyDelete3:40 AM in Brazil
ReplyDeleteNeed Translator
Hmmmm...(could have sworn I clicked there!) still doesn't help much tho...
ReplyDeletefound screwdriver
ReplyDeleteok... used screw driver on one of the holes, then get screw with magnifying glass off... used mag glass on other holes, and used screwdriver on the holes
ReplyDeleteUse the screwdriver to remove the door-view (the button you first pushed). Number code on back where you got the screwdriver. Another clue when you insert the door-view in the button found on the blank wall. Device must be ON
ReplyDeleteCan't get the back off that removable button & the code doesn't work on the keypad. Anyone else doin any better?
ReplyDeleteopen code box on wall with screwdriver, don't know code yet
ReplyDeletewhere is screwdriver??
ReplyDeleteIs it a lil green light? in the button hole on blank wall? Martin when u say use screwdriver to remove the door-view do u mean just the button or the actual door itself? I can put the screwdriver in the hole once I took out the button but can't open it or anything.
ReplyDeleteOh never mind :) I figured out what u meant. Thanx Martin.
ReplyDeleteWhat are they called? The things you look through to see who is on the other side of the door...you remove that fatcat.
ReplyDeletepeep holes!!
ReplyDeleteWhere is screwdriver...please
screw driver behind the white note
ReplyDeleteTY..i tried a million times to flip that thing over!!
ReplyDeleteCheers Martin :) Stuck again...
ReplyDeleteopened the wall used 98 (backwards open sign)
ReplyDeletecode box.... I am thinking along the line:
ReplyDelete5 digit code behind the white sheet
5 japanese characters on top of the 5 digit code
A _____ G on top of code box.... so the black box should be B, C, D, E, F....again 5 letters
so what's the link between the 5 japanese characters, the 5 digits, and the 5 english alphabets?
You can flip the on/off box over as well.
ReplyDeleteYou can also put the screwdriver into the hole where you got the peep hole viewer.
Thanks SkyJ...peep hole, yes.
Ok...I don't do codes(read as can't)...so, stuck.
ok.... got code now
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteturned on the light in the hole and can see the circles but dunno where to use them...
ReplyDelete(white note says"your brain does a full turn. Better you get out)
Wall characters mean LEFT and RIGHT
how to get device behind bars??
ReplyDeleteput screwdriver in hole then use code 98 to open
ReplyDelete(86 to cclose)
my code is different....97 to open and 74 to close
ReplyDeleteI ses.. thanks Atinder
ReplyDeleteoh ok
ReplyDeleteum light flashing in 2nd bar from right when wall open
So clearly the codes r diff 4 all but how did u work it out? I had 54719 on the back of my box. Not good with codes!
ReplyDeletehard to explain..
ReplyDeleteyou see the figures for open and close and directions yea?
you just get the numbers to make up the characters and do in that order.. if that makes sense
@Atinder: yes, but don't know what it means yet...
ReplyDeleteand get button cell in the device behind bars
stuck again
@fatcat: the 2 japanese kanji means left and right, but it doesn't matter, just break each into 2 parts, then use the code from behind the white sheet
Um, I think so? I thought it might have been 62 to open & 59 to close but it doesn't work :(
ReplyDeleteok i have to go byee
ReplyDeleteOk, so now I'm feeling really dense! Sorry Atinder & fab :( My white sheet code was 54719 so to open I tried 19 & 61 but doesn't seem to be working?
ReplyDeletek im backdidnt want to not finsih this game.
ReplyDeleteused vacuum on 2nd from right hole and got this metal thing
I can't flip the white box!! Help me!! =(
ReplyDeleteclick at the bottom under part of it
ReplyDeletegot one more button cell from the device
ReplyDeleteCan someone pls call me a WAHmbulance?!? This code is starting to annoy me :,(
ReplyDeleteI already click every part of the box.. the box still can't flip.. poor me!! =(
ReplyDeleteDo u have to do anything after putting the code in or is it an auto-door?
ReplyDelete@atinder: thanks, then use the lens with the metal extension, and put in hole again to see more
ReplyDeletefatcat
ReplyDeleteput the screwdriver on the hole
urs = open 74
close41
can't figure out the code... the board says "chant" above the numbers....
ReplyDelete@Moniq bottom right hand corner just below the edge of the box worked for me.
ReplyDeleteWOOHOO!!! Thanks very much Shuchun :) Got it.
ReplyDelete@fat cat: the box still can't flip.. I aready click everywhere at box view.. the box don't move.. =(
ReplyDeleteThanks Shuchun, I thought I'd figured out the code and got lucky and opened it but couldn't close it.
ReplyDeleteThe battery is for the touch screen code box from where the poles are.
@Moniq: you mean the white one? click the grey part at the bottom
ReplyDeletewhat's the ABCDEFG code anyone??
@fab: I already click it too.. still can't flip.. =(
ReplyDeleteHelp me please.. =(
help with the code please!!! 73195
ReplyDeleteI got it.... up = 上, down = 下
ReplyDelete@Moniq Try the around lower r/h corner.
ReplyDelete@fab Read my post above yours.
Where does the extra button go? The one which u put the lil battery in? (I'm assuming it's a battery anyhow?)
ReplyDeleteTouch screen pad? I can only seem to zoom in to the floor where the poles are?
ReplyDeleteJust realised I can put the battery in the extra button but it doesn't stay there when u close the item. Dunno if that means anything? Sorry Martin not sure what u meant?
ReplyDeleteok.. out... seems I haven't used the batteries... or did I use it but I didn't know?
ReplyDeleteneed to know japanese up down left right is 上 下 左 右, and reverse order of up and left to get correct code.... then the game is rather easy
Haha :D Just found it! Always the way!
ReplyDeleteNot having much luck with the touch screen.
ReplyDelete@Fatcat...you have the touch screen? The button battery should just stay in place.

I'm getting tired to try.. =(
ReplyDeleteI'm surrender from this game..
thank you for all who help me.. =)
@ Martin yeah, I got it thanks :) But I meant the button u "vaccuum" off the white box (w/the green back) I could put the battery in that button. Clearly, it's irrelevant anyway as the battery goes in the touch screen?
ReplyDeleteShuchun San-kyu!!
ReplyDelete...or maybe not cos u can take the battery back out of the screen?
ReplyDeleteCan't figure out the screen itself? Thought maybe the letters represented by the circles mite have stood for the number order to touch the circles on the screen but no good.
ReplyDeleteah... for the code:
ReplyDeleteas an example:
you see code behind white box:
トナエロー
37941
up = 上 = ー+ト(break the character into 2 parts and go upwards)= 13
down = 下 = ー+ト = 13
left = 左 = エ+ナ = 97
right = 右 = ナ+ロ = 74
@Fatcat...thanks, I totally missed that one...used it in the touch screen, got full power and out...no circle code.
ReplyDeleteOH CRAP!!!! My fiance thinks he's just broken his foot (again!) so I will have to finish later. Good luck all...
ReplyDeleteseem to be various endings.
ReplyDeletegot 3 endings now..should be more than 3 endings
ReplyDeleteI can't even get one ending. :(
ReplyDeleteStill can't do anything with the touch screen. Don't even know if I'm clicking the right places...a little more audio feedback may have helped.
ReplyDeleteStrange game with so much in English but with a code impossible to crack unless you know Japanese.
Looks like I'll have to wait for another excellent video w/t by Blue Fire ;-)
Would someone...like shuchun, or someone else who understands japanese, please do a written walkthrough????
ReplyDeleteI like the game very much but am stuck at the exit...
nothing really makes sense but somehow, following the clues I got that far.
Then, everyone left, said there were 3 or more endings...no more clues...what gives here????
@Debra
ReplyDeletehard to do a text w/t for this game. would u please wait for Blue-fire's video w/ts of all four endings?
which one is touch screen?
ReplyDeletei have the door opened with sd inside the hole and a battery button which i don't know where to put, a "vacuum cleaner' kind of thing, a box with a hole in front and the white stair with green background at the back. Now. i'm stuck. Please help...
ReplyDeleteMy number is 24531. So 54 is for opening. But I can not close the door with 43. My screwdriver is stuck in the peephole and I can't get it back.
ReplyDeleteHow do I get the screwdriver back out of the door after I've gotten the machine, battery and lense extension?
ReplyDeleteJohnadam74, I guess you have to close the door.
ReplyDeleteMy code should be 39 to close the door since the order of my numbers is 53492, but the door won't close.
ReplyDeleteSame with me, I can not close the door.
ReplyDeletemy problem;s the same as johnadam and friwi. My code is 82437, but it won't close on 23. Is there something i haven't done?
ReplyDeleteMaybe a glitch in the game, but it finally let me put the lense with the extension on it back into the hole after 15 minutes of trying?
ReplyDeleteuh, after i use the vacuum cleaner on the box, i checked the vacuum and got another battery button. and stuck....
ReplyDeletei can't close the door either.
ReplyDeleteafter you get second battery, take out first battery out of touch screen, place second battery...and out.
ReplyDeleteHow do you start the game ???
ReplyDeleteI can't find anything on the TRG Escape 3 webpage to start the game.
I have clicked all links, gone to other game websites that re-direct to the same TRG webpage.
Nothing! A little help please.
Bumjelly
Bumjelly,
ReplyDeleteDo you see a Touringer Escape 3 logo below 2 or 3 paragraphs of Japanese text? If so click on it that area will turn black except for a 1 line of Japanese. Keep clicking. The line of Japanese will change several times (Intro to the game.) and then the game room should appear.
All i managed to do was to get a close up view of the paper on the wall and i think i turned on 2 switches on 2 peepholes.
ReplyDeletei then gave up
i just had to come back and check this game again.
ReplyDeleteI will try to make a walkthrough here. Japanese characters and coding are put here from the comments above.
ReplyDeletePart 1
1.From the original view, go left 2x
2.Zoom in and click on the hole located at the door. zoom out
3.Go right once and you will be facing a blank wall.
4.There is a hidden hole lacated on the same spot as the others. click this point and the hole will appear. (if it is difficult to locate the spot, just go around the room and notice that the holes have similar spots.)
5.the hole has 3 ray (like a sun)
6.zoom out and go to the right and notice the block with japanese characters had tilted.
7.click on it and it will go to your inventory and reveals a device behind it
8.highlight this block and select item view
9.while on this view, click on the lower gray part of the block to flip it
10. take note of the numbers and the characters corresponding to the numbers (numbers differ in every game)
11.then click the lower part to reveal a screwdriver. this will be added in your inventory
12.look at the device. press the button and the "rays" turn white. also, at the upper part of this device it shows how to open and close the door
13.notice the arrows and the characters? take note of them
14.zoom out and turn left, now the visible hole has also its rays white (it used to be green, remember?)
15.go one more time at the left and zoom in the hole at the door
16.use the screwdriver to get the peep hole from the door.
17.zoom out and turn left. put this peephole on the hole with white rays.
18.see another set of codes? (you will see this only when the rays are white) codes are used for the second ending.
19.zoom out. turn right and zoom in on the device. use screw driver to remove the box with button. it will be added in the inventory. now the code box is revealed.
20.this is the time that you have to check your note on the open and close code.
21.the 2 japanese kanji means left and right, break each character into 2 parts, then use the code from behind the white block (thanks fab).
22.tricky here because from the word "open" the arrow goes to the left, so you have to break the characters from right to left and the right to left to "close"
left = 左 = エ+ナ
right = 右 = ナ+ロ
(thanks again fab)
23. In my case, my code at the back of the white block is 38967, so my left is 98 (to open) and right is 86 (to close)
24.press the corresponding numbers to open (98 for me) the door.
25.zoom out and go left 2x. the door is open but there are grills blocking your way.
26.go back to the device and press the numbers corresponding to close (86 in my case)
27.zoom out and go left 2x. the door is now closed.
28.zoom in the hole and insert the screwdriver
29.go back to the device and input the open code again.
30.go back to the door, it is now opened and the grills lifted.
31.get the vacuum cleaner. in the item view, open the vacuum cleaner and find get the battery.
32.on the second hole from the right, use the vacuum cleaner to pick up the magnifying glass extension.
33. click on the left and find a touch screen. get it. you can flip it by clicking on the lower gray portion of the screen.
Part 2
ReplyDelete34. open the battery compartment and insert the battery. now it is operational. turn it ona nd it shows the codes for up,right,down,left
35.remember the characters behind the white block? time to use them: (used for 2nd ending)
トナエロー (thanks once more to fab)
38967 (are my numbers)
up = 上 = ー,ト(break the character into 2 parts and go upwards)= 73
down = 下 = ー,ト = 73
left = 左 = エ,ナ = 98 (also the code to open)
right = 右 = ナ+ロ = 86 (also the code to close)
36.select from your inventory the box with the sunlike button and use item view
37.while on this view, select the vacuum cleaner and click the button several times until it gets off.
38.open the vacuum cleaner and find the button inside. flip it and get the 2nd battery.
39.select from your inventory the touch screen. flip it and pen the battery compartment. remove the first battery your placed before and replace it with the new one.
40.turn on the device and it whows the door open. ***this is the 1st ending***
For 2nd ending, do NOT go out.
41.go back to the device on the wall (2x right)
42. input your code to close (86 in my case)the door.
43.zoom out, turn left 2x. back at the door. zoom in the screwdriver and get itout from the hole.
44.zoom out, turn left. zoom in on the peephole and remove it using the screwdriver.
45.in this view, select the magnifying extension and connect to the peephole.
46.return the peephole on the same hole and see that the earlier codes (open circle codes) have now alphabets corresponding to them. take note of these codes
47.zoom out and go back to the device on the wall.
48.notice the gray box between A and G? input the corresponding codes of A,B,C,D,E,F,G using the open circles and the characters we deciphered earlier (up,down,right,left).follow the open part of the circle as the direction.
you will have 14 numbers corresponding to the alphabets from A to G. input all numbers (73867386737373 in my case)and turn right. another door appears with a red button.
Press the button and your're out (2nd ending)
They said there is a third one. haven't figured it yet.
I hope this helped. I tried my best to be accurate.
Thanks for W/T, Dada!
ReplyDeleteIt helped but still have some of same problems as others...every time I played, a different thing that worked before didn't...and vice versa...only got the first end.
btw, shouldn't the third end have a ladder or was that a clue for something else?
Yed, Debra, i think so too. and maybe need to use the box with the rays because it is where the ladder diagram is located.
ReplyDeletewhat do you mean by things that worked before didn't anymore?
ReplyDeleteTo find the touch screen, zoom in on the open door with the bars up. Then click the gray edge of the "door" to change views.
ReplyDeleteIt is possible to do the second ending without doing the first. Make sure the lens is NOT in the hole in the wall when you open the door with the screwdriver in it.
ReplyDeleteAlso, the "button box",turned around to see the "ladder", fits in the square hole where the keypad is after finding the second ending. The keypad disappears and four white "tabs" appear. I think probably has to do with another ending, but couldn't get anywhere after I put it in.
I think perhaps there is another way to to get the keypad to disappear besides finding the second ending, but have made no progress on that front either.
I agree with Debra about things working once and then not. Something changed between the first day this was up and the second. I am sure that I was able to close the door and retrieve my screwdriver the first day. Second day, couldn't.
I found my screwdriver had broken on the floor behind the door, and the door wouldn't close.
ReplyDeleteWhy the low rating on this game, it's brilliant! There are actually 5 endings you can get, the 5th being the true ending. Wondered why it was titled Escape ADDICT?
ReplyDeleteI found a very through walkthrough at a Japanese page but I'm not going to bother translating it. Just look up "TRG ESC 3 walkthrough" on youtube, the 7 min video is the one that gets you the true ending.
