Put more water on the green ball on table and get rose, fetch the girl to pick up the rose, then put into vase in kitchen and get grey key.

ReplyDeleteyou have to put the grass ball on table (as Timmy) then go back as Lily and get the rose. Put the rose in the vase in the kitchen. I think that's where you get the silver key. Then use the silver key on the "down" controller in the movie room. this lowers screen and gives the Ace.
BOTH characters then have to place the ace (one at a time) to get a key and get out.

@zoz in my game the boy did nothing after placing the green ball except going out through the rainbow door after the girl opened it

when you switch to Timmy, click on the shelves on the left and it will move, click on the button
switch to Lily, now you can open the cabinet ... got the key ... and go out of this room ... now you are facing Timmy's room ... open the door for him using the key

ReplyDeleteyou play as Timmy or as Lily, one at a time. When you click on "switch" you switch between characters, but you also change rooms. The only time you can change characters without changing rooms is if the other character is standing in the room when you switch.
There are multiple ways to navigate through this. I'm just going to write up what eventually worked for me.
you begin as Lily
Scene with Couch - click on left cushion and take 3 of hearts. Place it in your inventory.
Go left or right and note that cabinet is locked and "the switch might be in a different room".
Exit room through door by couch.
You are now in a central hallway, with stairs leading down. But you can't go down the stairs from here.
The door straight ahead, by the clown picture, is locked.
There is a toy machine but "all of the prizes are gone".
Take the coin from the coin return.
Go right, and you're facing the front door and a gumball machine and a large die.
Use the quarter on the gumball machine.
Take the green balloon.
Go straight back and fill the balloon from the helium tank.
Go straight back to face the front door.
Attach the balloon to the red string on the large die.
Take the five of spades.
Go through the door on the right and take the donkey's tail.
Go right and back into the hallway (you can access another room from the donkey view, but not ready for that yet).
Back in the hallway, you're facing 3 large framed playing cards. Make a note of the order (2, 5, Ace).
On your left are stairs going up, but I don't think they can be used.
The door straight ahead takes you into the "movie room".
You can open the cabinet under the drink machine, but you can't take the handle as Lily. You'll have to come back as Timmy for this.
Also in this view is a kiosk that has a "Down" button to lower the movie screen, but it requires a key.
Go through the door and you're in the kitchen.
Go right and you're facing a bar and there is a lighted sign that says "Slappy". Under the sign is a metal plate with a small hole in it.
Place the donky tail in the hole. The sign slides up to reveal a place for the cards.
Put the 3 of hearts and the 5 of spades into the appropriate slots (remember the order of cards from the hallway).

Switch to Timmy
You are in a room with a tree.
Click on the cabinet on the left to move it, and press the red button to turn it green.
You have now unlocked the cabinet that Lily couldn't open.
Go right and pick up the empty bucket.
You can't leave because the door is locked. You'll have to wait for Lily to unlock it from the other side.
Switch to Lily
Go right and exit through the door by the popcorn sign on the wall.
You should be in the hallway with the gumball machine on your left.
Go right and then go through the door on the left.
The light on the cabinet is now green, since Timmy pressed the switch in the other room.
Open the cabinet and take the gold key.
Go right and exit into the hallway.
You are now facing a door with the clown on your left.
Use the key to open the door.
Go in and go right and say "hello" to Timmy!

Pour the water into the funnel on the left.
You'll have to fill the bucket and empty it a total of three times before you can take the green ball from the cylinder of water.
Take the "grass ball" and take it to the other side of the room.
Place it on the table in the center.
Click on the cabinet on the wall.
Make the colors correspond to a rainbow (ROYGBIV, or Red Orange Yellow Green Blue Indigo Violet)
You've turned on a sunlamp, and a rose has grown from the grass ball.
But you'll have to come back as Lily to take it.
editorial note: there seems to be a very traditional division of labor in this game
Switch to Lily
Leave the room you're in (the one with the tree)
Go Left, then go through the door on the right.
Go through door by donkey and packages.
Go right and take the rose (and say "hello" to Timmy).
Go back to the hall to the scene facing the front door.
Go through the left door, and then the next door into the kitchen.
Place the flower in the vase.
Take the silver key the bee leaves after pollinating the flower.
Go right and through the door to the movie room.
Go right and click on the kiosk and use the silver key on it, then press the "Down" button to lower the screen.
Go to the other side of the room and take the Ace of diamonds from the screen.
Go through the door by the drink machine to the kitchen and go right.
Place the Ace in the proper slot on the wall and press the wheel to the right and take the rainbow key.
Go to the front door and use the key.
When Lily leaves, the scene goes back to Timmy.
Exit to the hallway and go through the door that Lily so sweetly unlocked.
FREE AT LAST!!!

Eventually I found a quarter, and was able to complete the game after completeing the tasks after you obtain the quarter. :D

ReplyDeleteAfter you filled the bucket with water, (you have to switch between the boy and girl here), you can place the grass ball in the room next door. The girl has to pick the rose that appeared. Then you place the picked flower in the kitchen, which gives you a key. The key gives access to the control panel, in the same room as the drink fountain and the old popcorn.
