So many paths, its confusing.
ReplyDeleteThere are other places to click, but it's impossible to tell where without tabbing. I finally found one just by waving my mouse around, then went back and found I'd missed two others.

Got a shovel kind of, used it on the red cross, got a locked box.

The last two DAA games being easy, this one seems hard.

ReplyDeleteGoing left path at first crossing.
And almost at the end of that path a path to the right. There is key.
This is confusing.
ReplyDeleteIn the first cross road, turn right to get to a locked car.
Turn left to get to a table. If you continue forward you get to a safe that needs a password.
If you chose the right path (zoom once on the table i think) you find a key.
The password you get from the box is case sensitive and you use it at the end of the left path to get other keys.

ReplyDelete@annaby, find the shovel if you move one screen to the left by the crossroad (look in the lower left corner).
@Annaby, Turn left from the cross road, and u'll get a shovel, use it on the red cross to get a box, use key on it to get the password.

ReplyDelete@michele-with-pug I know right? Yeah, they're probably trying to make it moody and creepy, but all I get is strained vision. This game was doubly annoying with the lightning and thunder. I think this could have been a good game, but I couldn't finish it because I now have a headache.
ReplyDeleteAnd see now I actually liked the thunder and lightning. I think it makes the game more atmospheric. But I do agree about the dark screens. Although, at least with this game you didn't really miss out too much with it being dark because there wasn't too much to do. Fun if you like exploring, like I do.

A few screens after the beginning, there's a "What's This?" hotspot on the right, next to a tree, and you'll see a red X on the ground.
Continue to the 4-way crossroad and turn to the left. At the very first scene after you've turned left, there's a shovel in the bottom left corner. Continue forward to when it hits the gate, you can continue from the left of the screen. Keep going a bit, and there will be a picnic table on the right. Slightly to the left of the table you can enter the woods and find a silver key in some sticks thrown together.
Back out of the woods, and continue forward on the path you were on and you'll get to a cave with a safe that needs a password.
Go back to the beginning, use the shovel on the red X to get a box that can be opened with your key. You'll get a password for the safe in the cave.
Then make your way back to the 4-way crossroad, but now choose right. You'll find your car, and you'll have the keys (they were in the safe)

Very easy, even I didn't need a walkthrough. Kind of annoying to have so many screens where you could do nothing. The forest didn't seem haunted, just slightly stormy.
ReplyDeleteIt was nice to complete something totally on my own though.
Shame this was so easy, it had great potential. Looked good and I thought the lightning added to the atmosphere without being annoying. Suitably eerie soundtrack too. With a few bear-traps and other nasties thrown in, this could have been a great game IMHO.
ReplyDeleteThis game was irritating as hell....too dark....annoying navigation....lightening was cool at first but got old quickly,whats the use of great graphics if you cant see them?!! I'm leaving after 5 minutes of this!!
