Ahhh for the mirror you have to click opposite sides of it, to make it move left, then up, then right, and finally down.

ReplyDeleteThe hint is in the other new room. The painting has a black and red wall. So you know Black is left and red is right.
The balls are the hint. Look at the painting in the room on the other side of the hall. Make note of which side the black and red are on and then click according to the balls.

Put mirror on bench then somehow red door opened. Got last triangle off exit sign in new hall. put them under table with plant etc. on it.( Just clicked it lots and the doors opened.)

Roberto : the only answer I can give to you is about the box on the wall. The hint was the sequence of roman numbers. Some were on the right side, some were on the left side.

But I think the mirror was clicking;
Left, Up, Right and Down.
By the way it only works if the exit sign is not active (because with the exit sign highlighted you don't really click Down, but then you lift the mirror).

ReplyDelete@Lisa, in case you come back... you can turn the "don't touch"-box upside down after removing the screw. Click on the right side of the shelf it's on. You'll get a key for the cabinet to the right.
@popset, after you open the door between the red and green cats, move forward and to the right. Click on the blue exit sign on the wall in the corridor and then take the arrow from the left side of it.
I'd really like to write a wt for this game even if I don't have all of the answers, but it's 2:30 am and I'll work in a few hours. I might come back to it tomorrow unless someone else writes one first.

ReplyDelete@Laulieth, hmmm... hard to help without knowing what point of the game you are exactly.
ReplyDeleteWell, the blue key is inside the hidden room which you open by clicking on the red button inside the safe in the garden.
It's in the "don't touch" box, but you need to click on the shelf the box is on to turn it over and to make the key fall down to the floor... you have the screwdriver, don't you? Use it on the right side of that shelf for you to be able to do what you should (that is, the explained above).

click the 2 blue triangle things in middle of screen,
Go right twice
Click red cat, then behind it for a note
Click the door handle 10 times and the exit sign falls off...get it
Go right, click exit sign (in inventory) and then the bottom of mirror and it moves up to reveal a cross
Click the blue triangles(in inventory) and then click the left side of mirror, then the top, the right and the bottom...the mirror falls off to reveal a courtyard
Get mirror
Go left twice and put mirror on the bench
Click top of screen to see cross which was revealed earlier by mirror
Go back to courtyard window and click the pool below to find a codebox
View the exit sign and click the side to turn it around,then put it in top part of codebox
do the math...open the box for another blue triangle
Zoom out and go left and click the left part of screen to find cabinet with 2 white arrows
Refer to the roman numerals on the post and the "side" they are on...I on right,II on left...therefore the code is...
Click them RLRLRR...get SD and push red button
Go right an see a door is now open
"Danger do not touch the box"...do we obey???

but...if we look at it very carefully, there is a screw on the shelf, just below the box
remove it...then click just right of the box and a key falls out...get it
Go left and get picture on wall, go right and see a cabinet that needs a key, open it and get yellow cat...and something under it... back out
Place cat on the empty pedistal....Go right and put catfood picture on wall above the mirror... and they all turn and you hear a click!
It appears that the Exit door is opened...or maybe not...LOL
Go out into hallway
Go forward and right to find a blue exit sign and get the 4th triangle from it
move out and forward to see a picture on left wall
Back out 3 times and then left to find a desk on the right, click the "black object of ball" to see BL, R,Bl,Bl,R
Zoom out and click the front of desk...Bl is left from picture...hence...L,R,L,L,R
It opens...insert triangle pieces and it glows
The door is now open and you may leave....but ...is it the best ending?
Outside, click lower left to find a plant, get it
Back up twice, then right and forward...
Put plant in planter next to chair!
ARIGATOU!!! You are out!!!
There are various explanations here as to why things worked the way they did...I am just happy to finally be able to play!!!

ReplyDeleteBTW, thanks for the WT. It will do to help some others to escape this game, even when we lack of the explanations for some the things we all did in there.
And if you don't mind, I'd like to add a couple of things to it: you don't actually need to select the blue triangles to click on the mirror frame; the screw in the "don't touch" box shelf is in the right side, not in front of it, and you click wherever on this shelf (not only in the right) in order to turn it over.
As for the mirror clue, I have a theory. The note behind the red cat suggest to use an "order from the shortest" and, for me, that could be translated as:
1) start from the red dot on the cross and move straightforward (that would be clockwise) to the largest side/end of the cross... and that would explain the order for clicking on the mirror edges; or...
2) the only things I could classify from shortest to largest are the fruits on the painting, and that order would be, in colors, BLUE-GREEN-RED-YELLOW. But the cross doesn't have that order starting from the left and moving clockwise... UNLESS you use the exit plate on the mirror and see the cross MIRRORED through it, and that way the BGRY order would have a bit sense.
Anyway, too far-fetched even for me. I hope Xenon can come to give us a reasonable answer to this.

Ok, it would have been nice if someone actually explained that you MULTIPLY the 71 and 3 once you turn over the Exit sign.

ReplyDeleteThe mirror clue is saying follow the colors from shortest to biggest.Yes you are right to think it's linked to the Fruit picture.
When you are using the Exit sign on the bottom of the mirror, remember that what's reflected is the answer, not the actual cross itself.
When reflected it shows Blue, Green, Red, and Yellow.
When you look at the Fruit Picture the shortest color there is Blue, followed by Green, then Red, and then Yellow.
When the respective dots are reflected in the mirror (and following the note), you will be clicking Left, Top, Right, and Bottom in that order.

Even though I'm aware that * is used for multiplication, I didn't pick that up as I normally just use that symbol when typing out equations on the 10-key. But for a walkthrough or a hint I just thought using a regular "x" would have been easier.
