ReplyDeleteIf you don't want to burn the house you must select "I'll never do that" when talking about second job with Observers. If you accept the job you don't have an option to talk to the woman and you really must burn the house to complete the game..

Help! How can I put gasoline on the house to burn it when I already gave it to the guy with the list? I fixed the turbine, have the poisoned bear trap (which the hunter doesn't seem to want), and can't talk to the girl any further. Stuck!

ReplyDelete1.look under the hood of your car(diagonal arrow)
-you need a radiator pipe to replace the old one you busted. stupid invisible walls
2.close your hood(↓) and go right(→). go towards the house(↑) and meet crazy joe.go in the house(diagonal arrow)
-move your cursor over the dresser/table on the right (diagonal arrow) or else you wont be able to get the pipe to read the zone administration note.
3.go back outside(↓)and talk with crazy joe again, who will exchange you to sell some of his deer meat for repair parts even if you take the pipe and don't take the meat, your conscience wont let you start the car unless you bring it.
-go back in the house,take the copper pipe by the furnace at left.and in the back room(diagonal arrow). click the lump of meat on the lower lip of the tub EEEW, is this even sanitary?! then get out back to your car.
4.click the hood again, and click the pipe you have with the one that's broken (you will know when the dark arrow comes up)
-now that your car is fixed, open the door, get in(diagonal arrow)and click the key in the ignition (bottom middle of screen) and your car once again growls yaaay, out of this town!!
But wait! there's more lolwut?
5. unfortunately, you dont know how to get to capetown, and need to go back to the garage from the previous game nnuuuu, i savored my leave from that tincan of a place!!
-so direction around here is very bad from here on, so i'll try my best to use the arrows on where you have to go to get to where.
anyway, just go in the doorway, past the sickly kid, and meet the manager. exchange with him the deer meat for 38 screw caps he IS crazy to take that as payment
6. go back out to your car, get back to crazy joe, and give him his screw caps. he will tell you where Lynch, this weird guy your looking for.

ReplyDelete1.so go to the new location, and click the doors, you meet a odd henchman.. who tell you that lynch is not here, but will give you info about where he might be for some tasks darn it! i'm not an errand boy!!
1.take a picture of mysterious drawings
to do this through, we will need a camera, and where can we get one but by meeting the Manager back at his garage.
-go back to the garage, and get the check list
-to find said items. follow these directions:
from facing the outside of the manager's garage.
go right(→)
go down(↓)
go into the open garage at right (diagonal arrow): inside, take the pincers and the gasoline can.
go out of the open garage
go down(↓) to see a copper car
go down again(↓)
now go on lower right corner (diagonal arrow) to see an open hatch:go down there, and see that the door is stuck CURSES!!
so get out of the hatch from the scene with the window and the car, go right(→) and see the open window.
look in the window: a melted house is before you. on the left side of this scene, your arrow will turn into a "(diagonal arrow)" which will take you to a well: look down(↓) and move the rocks down there to find a grapple hook and then you can open the secret hatch.
-because the place is big, i'll tell in the next post where everything is because it's a a huge shopping list! geez, is everybody around here lazy?!

ReplyDeleteGoing down the well, we see a dark doorway with a red light over it. Remember that.
1) the gas lamp: go forward, and take the kerosene lamp in-between the bed and the night stand
2) lightbulb #1:back out of there, to return to the room you first got into. Back out again, to see a broken brick walled entrance (remember from the previous episodes, where you broke through that doorway).
So go right, and take the bulb from the lamp.
3) downstairs:back out of that room, and from the room with the broken brick doorway (this is infact the back, you turned around. To get back to the broken brick doorway from here, go left)
In the middle, you will see a spiraling staircase with a pole through it. Do down those stairs to get to the next level down.
4)sulfuric acid, Lightbulb #2: go left, into the bathroom. On the shelf will be a green bottle, take it. Go out of there.
5)cornflakes, kerosene, rice: go right, into the pantry room. On the left middle shelf, corn flakes are behind a box of oranges. The kerosene is on the middle front shelf, the dull pink canister. Under the kerosene, lower front, is a blue small canister, which is rice. Back out.
6)go forward (not up the lader)
7)the matches: go left, into the kitchen. Between the sink and the oven, is a gas can. Click there to zoom in. look in the upper right area, to see the matches over the knobs of the oven. Go out of the kitchen
8)lightbulb #3:go forward, into the small bedroom, and grab the light bulb in the lamp. Go back out
8)return to the stairs, you have everything. Now you have to get out.
Go up the stairs and then forward twice to see a closed door with a lever at right. Pull the lever and you can get out through the once locked floor. FREEDOM!

Meeting an old friend
Remember how to get to the melted house? In the scene where you see both the side of the house and the copper car,
Go right, to see a road, and the open window. Go up the road, go up again, you will see a tower, ignore it.
Continue up the road, you see the tower is conveniently in your face. Go up. And you will see a woman, and her house.
Talk to her, she is having problems with her turbines. Go to the house, and go around it, to the left. Click the muffler looking thing to see the broken turbine, take it.
Go back out, down down down down down.. until you see the copper car and the side of the house.. AGAIN =_=;
Ok, so now you can see the open garage. See the 2 houses beyond it, down the road? Go into the right one.
Now, move your curser to the left of the porch (diagonal arrow) to go around the house and on the road to the village, go forward. You enter into an abandoned village of grey concrete.
Go into the upper left doorway (←) to metal double doors. Go through. In the room, a grate is leaning next to a compression tank, at right. Use the pincers on the grate to get new turbine blades. also, to the left, on the floor, see round little crumbs. Pick up rat poison
now, back out until you see the open garage again, go in there.
See the grip-thing that holds two things together, attached to the table (cant remember wat it’s called sorry for the fail DX). Put the broken turbine in that, and then use your pincers to cut the old blades off. Then put the new blades on the turbine, and take it off the contraption to get the new turbine.
Go back to the girl (I wont waste telling how to get there, I’m already 2 pages in word document, and you guys need to just figure it out. Srry)
Go go in the back of the house and put the new turbine in. going back and talking to the girl will give you a bear trap.
IF YOU TAKE THE SUPPLEMENTS
Talk to the sickly kid outside the garage, and give him the supplements. You can send him off to sketch the drawings you need. He will go off for a while.
To find him, go to the scene with the open garage, and go to the right house. The zippo lighter is under the stairs: move your curser to the left of the stairs and go under the stairs to see it.
The door on the second floor will take you to the place where the drawings are, take the sketch from him.
IF YOU TAKE THE CAMERA
go to the house on the right, in the open garage scene, and grab the zippo lighter under the stairs. Go through the door on the top of the stairs and on the walls, at left are drawings. Use the camera on them to take a picture. Grab the photo off the floor.
PS: I found out how to get my car back!! Remember where you see the open garage and the 2 houses? Going to the house on the left. Then clicking the far off electrical towers to the right(diagonal arrow), then going to the right(diagonal arrow) again, then again (diagonal arrow) will bring you to the Observation nest/the place where Lynch was SUPPOSE to be, but has his henchmen there now.

Talk to her, she is having problems with her turbines. Go to the house, and go around it, to the left. Click the muffler looking thing to see the broken turbine, take it.
Go back out, down down down down down.. until you see the copper car and the side of the house.. AGAIN =_=;
Ok, so now you can see the open garage. See the 2 houses beyond it, down the road? Go into the right one.
Now, move your curser to the left of the porch (diagonal arrow) to go around the house and on the road to the village, go forward. You enter into an abandoned village of grey concrete.
Go into the upper left doorway (←) to metal double doors. Go through. In the room, a grate is leaning next to a compression tank, at right. Use the pincers on the grate to get new turbine blades. also, to the left, on the floor, see round little crumbs. Pick up rat poison
now, back out until you see the open garage again, go in there.
See the grip-thing that holds two things together, attached to the table (cant remember wat it’s called sorry for the fail DX). Put the broken turbine in that, and then use your pincers to cut the old blades off. Then put the new blades on the turbine, and take it off the contraption to get the new turbine.
Go back to the girl (I wont waste telling how to get there, I’m already 2 pages in word document, and you guys need to just figure it out. Srry)
Go go in the back of the house and put the new turbine in. going back and talking to the girl will give you a bear trap.
Cameras or Supplements?

Ps: if you happen to get a scene with electrical towers, go forward. If you don’t, you will get yourself back to town, without your car, and stuck unless you can understand the loop as explained at the end of this

IF YOU TAKE THE SUPPLEMENTS
ReplyDeleteTalk to the sickly kid outside the garage, and give him the supplements. You can send him off to sketch the drawings you need. He will go off for a while.
To find him, go to the scene with the open garage, and go to the right house. The zippo lighter is under the stairs: move your curser to the left of the stairs and go under the stairs to see it.
The door on the second floor will take you to the place where the drawings are, take the sketch from him.
IF YOU TAKE THE CAMERA
go to the house on the right, in the open garage scene, and grab the zippo lighter under the stairs. Go through the door on the top of the stairs and on the walls, at left are drawings. Use the camera on them to take a picture. Grab the photo off the floor.
PS: I found out how to get my car back!! Remember where you see the open garage and the 2 houses? Going to the house on the left. Then clicking the far off electrical towers to the right(diagonal arrow), then going to the right(diagonal arrow) again, then again (diagonal arrow) will bring you to the Observation nest/the place where Lynch was SUPPOSE to be, but has his henchmen there now.

If you followed Blackcat's walkthrough you have now:

- Go back to the car (it's still in front of the shop) and go in.
- On the map, go to the OBSERVERS NEST.
- Go through the fence, zoom in on the man and talk to him (he will take the photo). Agree to burn the house down.
- Go down (2x) and in the car. On the map, go to the TOWN and you're in front of the shop again.
- Go right, go down (3x), go right, go up (4x) and you're back at the house with the girl.
- Zoom in on the house. Use the KERSONE on the wall with 3 windows and then the ZIPPO and you've burned the house down.
- Go down (6x), go up/left, go up (3x) and you're back at the shop.
- Go in the car and to the OBSERVERS NEST.
- Go through the fence, zoom in on the man and talk to him (he's happy you burned the house down). Agree to find the hermit.
- Go down (2x) and in the car. On the map, go to HUNTERS HOME.
- Go right, go up, zoom in on the man.
- In your inventory; combine the RAT POISON and the ACID and combine that with the BEAR TRAP and now talk to the man (he's happy with the poisonous bear trap) and after that there's a new location on the map.
- Go down (2x), go left and in the car.
- On the map, go to the HERMITS DEN.
- Go left, zoom in on the dead man on the left and zoom in again and open the backpack and take the ROPE.
- Go down (2x).
- In your inventory; combine ROPE and HOOK.
- Use HOOK/ROPE on the door of the cave/cabin in the mountain.
- Zoom in on the door and zoom in again and you're finished.
Wow! @Blackcat & Smalltool: many thanx for all of your hints and invaluable directions! I had a great time playing, thanx to you both, so Blackcat, the troubles you took were really worth their while. Hope that meanwhile you had a good sleep ;- )

(I can't believe I am the only one not burning the house and getting out..)
Thank You Peke! I would not have been able to get through the game without burning down Ann's house without your help. That was the the one point I was stuck on. I much prefer the good ending to the bad one. :)

ReplyDeleteYou're right there are two methods. You can answer the observer guys that you will not burn the house. And then repair the womans turnbine and you get the trap. Or burn the house and get the trap.
And giving the acid-rat-poison trap to the hunter gives you the new location.
Just like there are two methods for the picture. Take the camera and make the picture yourself or take the food and let the boy do it.
That's all but I don't know what I could add more to the walkthrough (like you asked) than this.
i have the acid the trap but dont know how to give it to the hunter !?? when i go to him he asks '' have you found some poison traps ?'' the only answer i can give is no plz tell how to get these three things together
ReplyDeletemuaz, you have to put the rat poison on the acid, then on the trap.....had to replay this game 3 times to get the bear trap....if I burned the lady's house down, trap never appeared....last time I fixed the thingy, replaced it she gave me bear trap....went back and burned the house down anyway....lol so mean of me ;D
