@Pascale, the phone works even if it seems like nothing happens when you press the numbers. The correct number ends with the letter H... which button is that? The button that starts with a H.

ReplyDeletethe hold button is on the desk phone (not the mobile one). It is the bottom left button (looks like it is missing the bottom left corner of the button)
Click the picture on the top of the bookcase -- note Eva in the bottom right corner

Zoom in on the top row of books
Click the tilted book and find math problems
Click the bottom row of books and see a color pattern
Click the trashcan -- click the paper inside it 3 times to find the blue key
Note there are mobile and desk phones, but you can’t use them yet
Zoom in on the laptop screen
Get the first gray ball from the E (Internet Explorer) symbol (to the right of the yellow man)
Click the desk chair and find the matches
Turn around
Click the plant in the black and white plant pot in the bottom left corner of the screen
Get the gray ring
Note you can zoom in on the fax machine and turn the 6 pale buttons under the light gray box around the screen colors. Don’t bother doing this yet because you will just have to enter it again later.
Zoom in on the top middle black and white files.
Get the second gray ball from the clip inside the top of the file
Zoom in on the 2 rectangular, red candles on the left side of the bookcase above the gray and black files
Use the matches to light both and find a number code
Zoom in on the large rectangular red candle on the right side of the bookcase with the black and gray files
Light it with the matches and find a color code
Click the red light out the top left window to zoom in -- find another number code here
Zoom in on the second drawer from the left below the fax machine
Use the key on the keyhole and get the phone battery
Zoom in on the rightmost drawer of that table and find a place to enter color and number codes. Click the white squares to change the colors. Click the gray circles to change the numbers.

The book says:
ABXY
B+X-Y=Z
Z*Y/A=C
AXCZ
The numbers on the window are 1732, which the top of the book tells you are ABXY. So the math now reads:
7+3-2=Z
Z*2/1=C
10-2=8 so we know Z is 8. Use that in the second equation for 8*(2/1)=C. So C is 16.
The bottom part of the book says
AXCZ. You now know that A=1, X=3, C=16, and Z=8.
Look at the fax machine at line 2200c (the model number that was on the HP scanner). You numbers are 13168. The first symbol on that line is a triangle to the upper right, the 3rd is a diamond, the 1st is a triangle to the upper right, the 6th is a triangle to the upper left, and the 8th is a triangle to the lower right. Enter these shapes into the drawer:
triangle to the upper right, diamond, triangle to the upper right, triangle to the upper left, and triangle to the lower right.
