    ReplyDelete
  67. we have only 4 numbers on the plate, but 5 each at the other two places.
At one place the top and bottom number multiplied is the middle number.
At the second place the left and right numbers multiplied are the middle number.

So I multiplied the left and right numbers, the bottom and top numbers and added the two of them...
hope you understand my weird explanation

  89. WALKTHROUGH
    (including the breakthrough from George)

    WINE BOTTLES
    - Zoom in on the little drawers under the glasses behind the table and take the FIRST HALF OF THE PLIERS (above the left drawer).
    - Zoom in on the left white vase in the back and take KEY #1 (left under the plate) and see NUMBER HINT #1 (in the plate).
    - Zoom in on the top glasses (actually candles) and see the way they stand. That's the CIRCLES HINT.
    - Zoom in on the right cabinet with the white vase on it and put the circles like the hint from the glasses (click both the middle circles 3x and the top and botom ones 2x). Open the door and take KEY #2.
    - Zoom in on the bottom glasses behind the table and take KEY #3 (between the right glasses).
    - Zoom in on the bottom of the left cupboard and open the right drawer with key #3 and take the SPRAY.
    - Zoom in on the top of the right cupboard and see NUMBER HINT #2.
    - Zoom in on the bottom of the right cupboard and here comes the...

    BREAKTHROUGH (thanks again George).
    - On number hint #2 you could see on the left numbers; the top and bottom number multiplied made the middle number (4x3=12) and on the right numbers you could see the left and the right number multiplied made the middle number (2x5=10). On the left numbers the left and right mulitplied gives 0 and on the right numbers top and bottom gives 0.
    - On number hint #1 you could see the middle number was missing. Now we do the same math and that gives for the top and bottom number (12x145=) 1740 and for the left and right number (78x33=) 2574.
    - On number hint #2 we could do (top x bottom) + (left x right), but that makes no difference because one of the numbers is always 0. But it gives us the hint that we have to add (because dividing or mutliplying wouldn't work).
    - So on number hint #1 we do the same (adding) and that gives (2574+1740=) 4314 and that's the code.

    - Put in the code (43 left and 14 right) and open the middle drawer. Use key #2 to open the book to see the picture. Use the spray on it and see the COLORS ON THE BIRD.
    - Go right

    BIRD PICTURES
    - Zoom in on the middle picture and change the colors like in the book and take the SECOND HALF OF THE PLIERS (above the picture if the colors are done correctly.
    - Go left

    WINE BOTTLES
    - Zoom in on the bottom of the left cupboard and open the left drawer with key #1. Use the pliers to take KNOB #1. Open the middle drawer and take KNOB #2.
    - Zoom in on the left cabinet with the white vase on it and open the right door and take KNOB #3.
    - Zoom in on the wine bottles and see the colors BLUE-WHITE-RED on the bottles a bit to the bottom and a bit left.
    - Go right

    BIRD PICTURES
    - Zoom in on top of the clock and put the 3 knobs in and see the numbers; 187430.
    - Zoom in on the bottom of the clock and put in that number (187 430). Click the centre of the cogs to make them blue, white and red and take KEY #4.
    - Go right

    DOOR
Use key #4 on the door and out.

    ReplyDelete
  90. Out on my own :) I had most trouble finding the key among the glasses lol. Thanks @Gamershood, I enjoyed this! Thanks for writing @small-tool!

    ReplyDelete
  91. Out without peeking, yay!

    Hm... for the (2x2) code.
Multiply each pair of opposite numbers and add both results.
...wouldn't it have been a bit simpler and clearer maybe?

  92. It was not Edgar there posting, but Mr Cocky... distant relative of Miss Crankypants and Grumpy Lady.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
