Vosje, those numbers on the TV? See them as the glasses numbered from 1 - 7, so you can know what bars are the smaller glasses and which ones the larger ones in the puzzle.
ReplyDeleteand out... thanks for the tv-hints... forgot to refresh hihi
ReplyDelete@Vosje, which position cups in the kitchen are the tall, and which are the short?
ReplyDeletewoohoo, and out :) thanks for the hints
ReplyDelete@Vosje, number the bars in the cupboard like the numbers on the TV.
ReplyDeleteFirst row: 1432567.
Looking at the glasses, the first and second are shorter.
For the cupboard that is:
short, tall, tall, short, tall, tall, tall.
Do the same with the next rows.
My remote wont work
ReplyDeletewhere is the spot to use it
Wow, good game. The last few EGL games have been full of codes and clues, just the way i like it!
ReplyDelete@SwissMiss, remote works only after videotape. Get it by solving the 8-numbers code on the left of the TV cabinet with the clue from the light bulb.
ReplyDelete@SwissMiss, do you have the battery in the remote?
ReplyDeleteCable connected between the video recorder and the remote? Videotape in the video recorder?
Use the remote on the zoomed in TV.
@SwissMiss, you have to have the video tape and put it in the vcr before the remote will work
ReplyDeleteWhere is the clue for the grey/black colors in kitchen?
ReplyDeleteOh, @SwissMiss, did you get the battery for the remote?
ReplyDelete@graham, zoom on the star thing to the left in the first view and look at the coat hanger.
ReplyDelete@Graham, that clue is on the racks, same view where you used the red ball in.
ReplyDelete@Graham, look at the top of the hooks by the place where you put the red ball.
ReplyDeletelol @E, E, and Z
ReplyDeleteTY Ellie! thought I looked everywhere!

-- Zoom on frying pans on wall. There is a nearly invisible red thread on the wood molding to the left of the pans. If you are lucky like I was, you click on it without even knowing it! Otherwise, click on the reddish line.
-- have a look at the purple containers on the left shelves and note their height
-- on the far left, click on the area with the Sun wall ornament and the coat hooks. The very top of the hooks is either light or dark grey. Make a note of the order.
-- Back up and zoom on the umbrella stand below the hooks and note there is something inside that you can't reach.
-- Zoom on the oven and see you need a color code.
-- Zoom on the rightmost table chair and take the red spider.
-- Zoom on the blue drawer just left of the sink. Use the pattern from the coat hooks to get a painter's pallet.
-- Zoom on the window and see an inverted code on the curtains on the left.
-- Zoom on the yellow cabinets on the right and see a "tall/short" puzzle
-- Move right to the
Hallway
-- Zoom on the lamp near the bottom of the screen and take the light bulb
-- Zoom on the wall sconce lamp and place the light bulb to get YMCKE
-- Zoom on the blank grey painting above the hall table and see that it is, indeed, blank. For now.
-- Zoom on the armchair and enter the code from the curtains.
-- Move right to the
Living Room
-- Zoom on the back of the table to the left of the sofa and place the red spider there. Make a note of the colors in her web.
-- Zoom on the back of the table to the right of the sofa and enter the correct colors. Take the Fishing Hook.
-- Zoom on the two vases on the little table in the far left corner of the room and take the red ball
--Return to the
Kitchen
-- Combine the red string with the fishing hook and use this to retrieve the coaxial cable from the umbrella stand.
-- Place the red ball in the center of the Sun Ornament and make a note of the green shapes code .
--Return to the
Living Room
-- Zoom on the middle drawer below the TV and VCR and enter the green shapes code and take the paintbrush.
-- Move to the
Hallway
-- Zoom on the blank grey painting above the hallway table and use the combined paintbrush/pallet to make a pretty little picture. Make a note of the colors and their relative positions, and return to the
Kitchen
-- Zoom on the stove and enter the colors from the painting.
-- Note the colors of the edges of the rectangles have changed. Make a note of this, and return to the
Living Room
-- Zoom on the Ottoman (the little green stool on the right) and enter the color code from the stove. Take the Remote.
-- Zoom on the left cabinet below the TV/VCR and enter the YMCKE code. Take the Video Tape
-- Combine the Battery and Remote in your inventory.
-- Zoom on the VCR and place the coaxial cable behind it and to the right.
-- Put the Video Tape in the VCR
-- Back up, then zoom on TV and use Remote to get a screen full of numbers.
-- Return to the
Kitchen
-- Use the relative heights of the purple glasses on the shelves in combination with the number code from the TV to solve the "Tall/Short" puzzle on the yellow cabinet.
-- Take the gold key and return to the
Hallway
-- Use the key on the Green Door
-- Leave and ponder whether Monica has a brother named Mark, or is cheating on Chandler with someone named Mark, or whether "Mark" is the name she went by before her sex-change operation.
Solutions
ReplyDelete-- drawer to the left of the sink: Dark, Light, Dark, Light, Dark
-- code from the curtains: 9573
-- spider web code for right sofa table, clockwise from top right: Cyan, Green, White, Blue, Blue, Purple, Yellow, Grey
-- green shapes code, clockwise from upper right: Diamond, Odd Trapezoid, Square, Half Circle, Triangle, Circle
-- stove: UL Green, LL Brown, UR Yellow, LR Blue
-- Ottoman: Left Cyan, Right Green, Top White, Bottom Yellow
-- YMCKE code: convert the letters to numbers according to their alphabetical order; 25133115
-- "Tall/Short" Puzzle: Number the purple glasses on the shelves in the kitchen from left to right, one through seven. The numbers from the TV correspond to these numbers, one set of numbers for each row of glasses. Since only the first two glasses on each row are short, then make the bars corresponding to 1 and 2 in each row short, and all others tall. T=tall, S= short
