ReplyDelete@Full
ReplyDeletei found this on Wiki, please check it.
In contrast to English verse typically characterized by meter, Japanese verse counts sound units (moras), known as "on". Traditional haiku consist of 17 on, in three phrases of 5, 7, and 5 on respectively.
so pw=575 [the poster on the wall wrote the pw is something about Haiku]
@tool
ReplyDeletethe tile order
葉 霜 卯 文
you may hear a sound if they are right.
Thanks a million Shuchun, that explains it. I will check google now to see if i can find something about the "haiku" :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks mgkanda and Shuchun.
ReplyDeleteMy pleasure :)
ReplyDeleteThis is an Haiku,
ReplyDeleteSo no need to google Full,
Just count syllables.
Hope you understood,
ReplyDeleteMaybe this is better though,
Still not very good.
:-))
ReplyDeleteLOL @small-tool :)

ReplyDelete@adivawoman How did you do I looked at fulls and still cant fiqure it out
ReplyDeleteShuchun? Could you please explain how you got the answer for the character tiles? Thanks!
ReplyDelete@Elizabeth
ReplyDeleteIt's about Japanese lunar calendar
4th month of the lunar calendar: 卯月
7th month of the lunar calendar: 文月
8th month of the lunar calendar: 葉月
11th month of the lunar calendar: 霜月
WALKTHROUGH
ReplyDeleteI escaped this game with the help from Shuchun. Thanks!
Move right.
Open the left door and take the LADDER.
Open the right door (close the left first) and click the yellow/green sheets to find TILE #1.
Click below the table to get a KEY.
Turn right.
Take the upper (bent) STICK from the middle of the left side of the wall.
Open the left and right lower lockers to see stars.
Place the ladder below the upper lockers (in the middle). Click one of the lockers with the ladder selected to place it.
Open left and right lockers to see some more stars and get a BOTTLE OF WATER from the right side.
Take the ladder back.
Zoom on the picture to have a look.
Use the water on the plant to the right.
See some flowers.
Read the poster, or read the comment from Shuchun: “The password is something about Haiku”.
Turn right.
Use the key in the upper drawer to get TILE #2.
Zoom to the right of the drawers to get TILE #3.
Place the ladder to the right of the tall cupboard.
Click top part of the cupboard to see a nail.
Use the stick to remove the nail.
Open the big lockers to see symbols (and this is the place to put your tiles – but you need one more).
Enter the password in the lower drawer to get TILE #4.
Since Haiku is a way to write a poem, using rows of 5, then 7, then 5 syllables… it’s natural that the password is 575.
Now, look at the symbols.
You’ve seen them all inside the room.
Walk around to count them.
Star: 8 (2 on the wall, 3 from lower lockers and 3 from top lockers).
#: 11 (on the yellow and green sheets in a cupboard).
Bow: 4 (count them on the picture above the left lower locker).
Flowers: 7 (3 in the vase and 4 when using water on the plant).
The order of the tiles is: 8, 11, 4, 7
But what does the symbols on the tiles mean?
They tell the months of the Japanese lunar calendar.
Copied from Shucun’s comment:
4th month of the lunar calendar: 卯月
7th month of the lunar calendar: 文月
8th month of the lunar calendar: 葉月
11th month of the lunar calendar: 霜月
If you’re still not sure about the order:
Number your tiles: 1,2,3,4 from left to right in the inventory.
Place them in this order in the locker: 4,3,2,1.
Click here to see a picture of the tile order.
Hear a click.
Go to “grandpa”, and click the wall behind him to escape.
Congratulations! And thanks again @Shuchun!
