ReplyDeleteHi, played behind you and cought up with a decorated tree... I even put the razor there. But nothing happens after that.
ReplyDeleteFor the chest, there are two things to do. Click outside the switches to change the directions of them from left-right to up-down.
They should be UD, LR, UD, LR
Then, press the switches themself to make them point the correct directions - showing the heads of the decoration: URDL (at least in my game).
Last, zoom out and it's open.

You need to find 10 decorations – number of the ones left to find in upper right corner – and decorate a Christmas tree.
Go left twice (wolf).
Get a green TWIG from above the snow, left side.
Get a PINE CONE from the left side of the two rocks in the right side of the screen.
Go right and give the pine cone to the squirrel.
Get a YELLOW FLOWER - DECORATION #1.
Go right (house).
Zoom on the door, see two levers.
You need to place seeds on them in a special way to open the door.
Every second time you click the yellow flower in the inventory you can drag a SEED away from it.
Drag one seed to the left lever and zoom out. The bird will fly down.
Zoom on the door again and the bird leaves.
Zoom on the door again and place a second seed, then zoom out.
Keep doing this with three and four seeds (zoom out between them).
After the 3rd seed you need to press the right lever, but it won’t open the door.
After the 4th seed you should be able to press the right lever and the door opens.
IN THE HOUSE
Take the CUP and the BOTTLE from the table.
Get a LADLE from the jug in the left window.
Click the lower left corner of the right carpet (below the barrel) to get a RAZOR - DECORATION #2.
Use the razor on the flowers to get a PINK FLOWER - DECORATION #3.
Turn right.
Take the CLOCK from the wall and the BOWL from the desk.
Take the ONIONS - DECORATION #4 hanging down in upper left corner.
Take the KEY from top shelf above the fireplace, left of the two pots.
Go down.
You need to wake the man up.
Place the clock on the left side of the table, by the man.
Zoom on the clock and turn left while zoomed in.
Click the key on the back of the clock (time on clock doesn’t matter).
Place the bucket on the right side of the table.
Use the ladle on the bucket to make a sound.
The hand of the man moves.
Drag the bottle in your inventory to the glass to fill it with WATER.
Give the full glass to the man.
Take the BEAR THING he dropped on the floor.
Take the bucket back.
Go left.
Take the ROPE under the bed.
Take the CANDLE from the window.
Use the ladle twice on the pot by the right leg of the bed to get a DIAMOND - DECORATION #5.
You don’t have the clue for the chest yet.
Go down twice.
OUTSIDE
Go left.
Use the razor three times on the tree, below the hole.
Get an APPLE – DECORATION #6.
Click the small bear in the lake in the distance.
Give the bear thing you got from the man to the bear.
When the fish jumps, place the bucket in the hole to catch it.
(if you don’t give the bear the bear thing he’ll eat the fish)
Go down and left (wolf).
Give the fish to the wolf and while he eats, be quick to click the BERRIES - DECORATION #7 in the tree to take them.
If you fail… catch another fish and try again.
Anyway, you should go back to catch a FISH #2.
Go back to the house and release the dog, using the key from the fireplace.
WALKTHROUGH, PART 2

Zoom on the sleeping man.
Put the fish on his head.
The dog will wake the man up.
Zoom on the man and pay attention to the roosters on the tie.
Turn left and open the chest.
*Hint – roosters – Hint*
Solution:
Click the orange part of the 2nd and 4th switch to change them from going up/down, to go left/right instead.
Now, press the switches themselves to make them go like the directions of the roosters.
First rooster face up, second has the head to the right, third is down, and fourth is left.
Switches should be: up, right, down, left.
Zoom out and see the chest opened.
Take the CLOTHES and HONEY.
Use the ladle inside the empty chest, left side to get a COIN – DECORATION #8.
Take the POSTER from the wall above the bed.
Go down and right.
Use the ladle on the handle of the fireplace and click to open.
Take the ladle back.
Place the candle in the fire to LIGHT THE CANDLE.
Go down twice.
OUTSIDE
Turn right.
Place your twig in the snow in lower right corner.
Take ANOTHER TWIG from under the tree.
Put the rope on foot of the tree.
Pour liquid from your bottle on the rope.
Use the candle on the rope to burn it.
Turn right.
Place your second twig in lower left corner.
The beaver helps to get the tree down.
Turn right.
Click the stone to the left of the two trees to the right.
Use the ladle in the soil to get a MEDAL - DECORATION #9.
Go back to the ice and the bear.
Place the clothes in the hole when the fish jumps to get STRIPS – DECORATION #10.
Drag the poster of a tree to the bear.
Drag the honey to the bear.
Go back inside the house.
IN THE HOUSE
Turn right and place the honey on the stool.
The bear carries the tree inside (and takes the honey).
Go inside again and turn right to the tree.
Decorate the tree – drag all your decorations there.
- Yellow flower
- Razor (who doesn’t decorate their trees with razors!?)
- Pink flower
- Onions x 7
- Diamond
- Apple
- Berries x 7
- Coin
- Medal
- Strips
Go down and zoom on the clock.
Now the time is important, set it to 12 o’clock .
Turn to the back of it.
Click the key to make it strike again.

ReplyDeleteYou have to see the clue (on the man when he's awake) first, before the code works. And it could be that it's different every game, so maybe not the same code as in the walkthrough.
Anyway where the heads are there must be the buttons (head up, is button up).
@j_flamm, I had the switches the same way everytime I played the game but as small-tool said, it might differ.

Anyway...I played with your wt at hand, without which I'd certainly given up. And didn't have any fun (which says all about the game, but nothing about your wt, which was great).

The rooster's do differ from game to game. The easiest way I can explain how to set the switches is to note the direction the legs point and set the switches in the opposite direction.
