ReplyDeleteI still cant get the coffin code. I feel so stupid. I got the other ones easy enough. :(
ReplyDelete853-3
ReplyDeleteAh, I dont know why I didnt see that. I heard clapping as well. I guess that is it. Short little game.
ReplyDeleteOh I guess putting pink bear back on shelf gives u happy end, cause there is a star in the background when u beat the game. not difficult at all though. Really easy game.
ReplyDeleteI saw 2 endings.
ReplyDeletetrying to figure the answer for the sum '3/1 + 2 - 4' in which i got 6, but no luck
ReplyDeletecan someone explain how to get the 3 i firced it but would like to know how to get it
ReplyDeleteIf you do yhe ladder correctly you come up with
ReplyDelete5,6,20,7
So 20/5+6-7=3
ok so the answer to the sum is 3, but why?
ReplyDeleteok out now.
ReplyDelete5150, i had it as 10/2+4-3!
ReplyDeleteyesmhow do u get 5 out of circle worth 2
ReplyDelete"if you do the ladder correctly"
ReplyDeleteI have no idea what to do with that 'ladder'. I have the answer, but can someone please explain the method?
Start at 1 and going right take every detour(up or down)until you reach the other side.
ReplyDeleteSo if you start at 3 you should end up with
▄+▄ which will equal 20.
Hope that helps.
lol! I couldn't get the 1st code because I had noted the top right doll as being black not gray!
ReplyDeleteYea...I finally under the ghost leg....I got it right!
ReplyDelete@Mike W -- I've seen a couple of elegant explanations. Can't remember what the method's called. If I can figure it out, I will post something here later.
ReplyDeleteWhen I've seen it before it was a way of converting 1 number to another. This is the first time I've seen where you had a calculation to do. But that's part of gaming isn't it? The puzzle creators try to make different and new puzzles using (often) old tools.
thanks 5150 i still dont get it but that helps
ReplyDeletei get it now thanks
ReplyDeletestart on the 1 line going rt, hit a rung follow it down till u are on line 2, go rt hit a rung going up, rt pass the middle of the book hit the next rung go down then rt, down, rt, down, rt u should stop on line 4 the add the 2 and 3 values
ReplyDeleteFound it -- "Ghost Leg" -- there's an article in Wikipedia. This method comes up fairly frequently.
ReplyDeleteIt helps to read what you post...lol
ReplyDeleteI meant to say...I "understand" the ghost leg.
Those have always eluded me before!
@5150 explained it very well!
but just in case, here is more...but I have to give the credit to @Ellie, who explained it to me several times before I got it!
#1 begins at left and when you follow the "ghost leg" either up or down whenever another line intersects...you end up with another symbol at the right side...so....
1.Circle ends at +hexagon
2.Triangle ends at +circle
3.Square ends at +square
4.Hexagon ends at +triangle
find the values of the shapes at right
then add them and apply that sum to the equation on the indicated code box!
Dang it, was nearly finished with this one, and the Banquet one, when my electricity tripped. Had to find the offending plug socket before I could switch back on!
ReplyDeleteShooo, my brain hurts now! Too much Math! LOL!
ReplyDeleteaai..fire at Rachel!!! I gonna help herrrrr!!!!
ReplyDeletepfff...little game..but I really had to do a headbreak!! but i got it :)) And the ladder game..I remember from other game, when @ellie explained it..but still..coffee!!

I have found the key (20/5 + 6 - 7), but I don't understand the hint in the cupboard. The first code was 853. Where does 5150 come from ?
ReplyDeleteWell, I came to an end with 853-3=850 as the final code.
ReplyDeleteLol Pascale.
ReplyDelete5150 is the name of the player posting here (see the comments above).
Great picture Sisli, explains the ghost legs better than a lot of words.
But then again, for future use:
It's not that hard. Go right and go up (or down) at the first place you can and then go right again on the first place you can etc. etc.
out with a peek on how to do a ghost leg again. I had forgotten (blushes).
