Megipoland
ReplyDeleteI've got the same amount as you but I don't know what to do with it. I've tried to click the amount of numbers per pic but it doesn't work...
Swiss
ReplyDeleteright!
Anybody any idea what to do with the chop stick?
ReplyDeleteThere's a square on the right side of the box!?
ReplyDeletebone (?) from the picture code
ReplyDeleteZA, you have to find the clue for the 6-5-3-4 code first. It is behid the painting + the white thing (I don't know what it is) from the inventory.
ReplyDeleteZA, exactly- the chop stick+the white thing.
ReplyDeletebe right back
ReplyDeletemat could be clue for figure code
connect "bone" with chopstick
ReplyDeleteI stuck on color code.
ReplyDeleteThe code behind the picture has probably to do with the tiles around the left table.
ReplyDeleteLoading (but I doubt I'll catch up) -- these can be fiendish!
ReplyDeleteHow/where do you get the bone?
ReplyDeleteIt is, but the pattern is strange. I did it after a few tries.
ReplyDeleteCould anybody please share its wisdom for the figure code behind the picture?
ReplyDeleteThe figure code behind the picture spoiler ...
ReplyDeletetriangle
cirkel
two cirkels
square-cirkel
from which code do you get the bones?
ReplyDeleteI still cannot work the bottle-code
Thaanks ZA!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, but why?
ReplyDeleteOK thanks ZA - funny order that
ReplyDeleteSWISS
ReplyDeleteIt is not a bone ... it is a thing to put the chop stick on .... when you've got this thing, you have to put it on the table and put the chop stick on it ...
EScapism
ReplyDeleteI don't know ... just brute forcing at a point ....
SwissMiss, the bone is from the code behind the painting. Look up the pattern, though it is not a triangle but a rhomb.
ReplyDeleteI need a color code!
ReplyDeleteHelp for the colors, please!
ReplyDelete@ZA: LOL! Brute forcing rules!
ReplyDeleteExcuse me Antonia ... my mistake
ReplyDeleteIt is not a triangle ... (english is not my native language ...:-))
What is *ruit* in English?
No not a ruit ... never mind ... I am dog tired and don't know what I am talking about .... LOL
ReplyDeleteEscapism
ReplyDeleteYEAHHHH LOL
Still can't open the bottle and lamps code?
ReplyDeleteFrom small to large is chair-red lamp - bottle - little lamp, right?
Still looking for a color code ... tumtidumtidum
ReplyDeleteZA, what is "ruit"? I'm not English too.
ReplyDeleteSmall
ReplyDeleteLook at he numbers and count down from 6 to 3.
@sm: order is: bottle (6), Chair (5), little white lamp (4), red lamp (3)
ReplyDeletedid anybody notice, that the 'dividing wall' between the two tables came down a bit!?
ReplyDeleteAh, so it's not the size but the amount.
ReplyDeleteThanks.
s-t bottle chair lamp lattern
ReplyDeletepress 6x bottle 5xtable 4x squarelamp 3x round lamp symbols
ReplyDeleteNini
ReplyDeleteYep

ReplyDeleteZa, after you get the key from the safe you can open the wall safe and push the button for the lights and then the color code appears.

ReplyDeleteNo you don't have to press 6 or 5 times the pics .. just once in the good order.
Thank you, ZA. It is totally different for my native language, I'm Bulgarian.
ReplyDeletecan't figure out color code - even tried it backwards because of the note ...
ReplyDeleteI thought the colors are orange, purple green and yellow - but not working
ReplyDeleteAntonia
ReplyDeleteIt is NOT the color code ... I put the colors in that order in the doorpanel but nothing happened ... it is another order, I guess
Nini, I even tried the order according the number of the leaves, but nope.
ReplyDeleteFor color code, I thought that the number of twigs would be important, but it didn't work...
ReplyDeleteWhere do you use the colors?
ReplyDeletesomething on the back of the box clue. what is the one with the sticks about
ReplyDeleteI think that the colors are not even for the door but for the box.
ReplyDeleteHehe @antonia, had the same idea... ;-)
ReplyDeleteAntonia
ReplyDeleteBulgarian!
Well, I am not well in Bulgarian ... not at all, to be honest. I am Dutch and that is as difficult as it sounds LOL
@SwissMiss: when you click at the colored lights in the text box appears a note with color ... sorry - can't explain it better :o|
ReplyDeleteDon't worry, ZA, we even do not use Latin alphabet but Cyrillic :)
ReplyDeletes-t there is a color code next to the door
ReplyDeletethought that too, Antonia -but nothing
ReplyDeleteI notice that noe the blinds from the ceiling are down. May be it is important.
ReplyDelete@nini - I can see that - but they dont work on door
ReplyDeletenot in this order or the leaves order anyway
More, I think we have to find a SD for the bars on the wall.
ReplyDeleteWhat a tricky one!!! decode code to change the code by code...
ReplyDeleteOMG I am out!!!
ReplyDeletePLease ask ... I\ll help
ZA - well anything please - stuck at color code and have not done letter-box
ReplyDeleteZa, Help!
ReplyDeleteZA - help please!
ReplyDeleteThe box ... look at the name in the square above the game .... you need a paper for a clue ... you have to eliminate a letter ...
ReplyDeleteWow got SD - opened box
ReplyDeleteand out too - without last help
ReplyDeletedid not need the SD
Small
ReplyDeleteYW ... the rest is easy to find ....
I like those games but they get trickier every time
ReplyDeleteThanks, ZA! I'm out, too.
ReplyDeleteThaaaax again, ZA, hero of this game! So this is the solution for the picture code!
ReplyDeleteThe SD was pointless.
ReplyDelete(...without brute forcing...)
ReplyDeleteYou need the screw driver, only if you don't know the order of the table figures ...
ReplyDeleteYou can unscrew a pole at the back of the room (see paper) and use it on the half fallen blinds.
On the blinds you 'll find the clues.
Thanx a lot ZA!!!! :o)
ReplyDeletethe only thing which I dont know where to find the clue was the order of the picture-code
ReplyDeletehas anyone any idea
I am no big walkthrough writer ... maybe someone else?
ReplyDelete@Antonia: not really pointless. I think the idea of the game designer was that we should open the box first, then see the hint on the blinds, then open the picture, and then find the rest...
ReplyDeleteat last i now know, what the blinds were for ...
ReplyDeleteSwiss ... you mean the pic code for the bottles and stuff?
ReplyDeleteThanks for the hints everyone, but especially ZA. I got really stuck on color code until I went back and looked at the poles again.
ReplyDeleteALMOST caught up!
Nothing is pointless ... even a live internet game .... although ... LOL
ReplyDelete@swissmiss: see my posting at 1:48 for clue for picture code and ZAs posting from 1:46
ReplyDeleteBeware of JANs Room lol
ReplyDeleteIQ of 187 needed
Same here SwissMiss,
ReplyDeleteSeems that was random order, didn't see a clue why the mats/tiles would be in that order.
@SM -- did you use the stick on the ceiling blinds?
ReplyDeleteTHank you all for you kindness!!
ReplyDeleteSee you next time!
Ah thanks escapism (and ZA), that was the clue you guys were talking about.
ReplyDeleteno I meant the mats - order - diamond, circle, etc.
ReplyDeletefinaly out going back to last enigma agian, glad you are about s-t
ReplyDelete@s-m: yes, that is what I'm talking about too. If you lower the blinds (I think you did that with the button behind the picture) and if you have the screwdriver and unscrewed the pole you can lower the blinds totally and you get the order. I replayed the game and tried it, it works!
ReplyDeleteis there anybody still here? i'm totally stuck with the bottle code... first i thought it would be the order i found on the plate.. then i counted... then i read the comments, counting should be right, i have the same numbers/order... but it doesn't work... i clicked bottle, chair, square lamp, red lamp... nothing...
ReplyDeleteyou need to click the handle after the code sabine
ReplyDelete@sabine: you need the 'bone' and the chop sticks, both combined and placed by the plate, first before you can click the buttons...
ReplyDelete@bigtank, yes, i clicked the handle too...
ReplyDeletestill someone here?
ReplyDeleteSolved everything with your hints, but the colour code doesn´t work.. Can someone spoil it? I tried everything...
@escapism: thank you, but i don't have the bone... after reading the comments i thought that i get them from this safe with bottle code...
ReplyDeletei have the hint from the save i opened with the key... i also pressed the red button and there was smth coming down from the ceiling...
ReplyDelete@horst: sorry, didn't write it down, but you'll get it with the hint in the box (it has something to do with the twigs...)
ReplyDelete@sabine: No, I think you can push the color button with that code. This is one of the last things to do in this game. First get the other stuff, especially the screwdriver and stuff, and solve the bottle thing at last...
At all: thanx for playing together and for all the good hints, gotta go now...
ReplyDeleteBye
Thanks all for your help! I replayed and now everything was clear!
ReplyDeleteAnyone help! I still don't get the letter code!
ReplyDeleteThere are 7 letters in "IZAKAYA"! Which do i have to remove! The note says IIIII / I, so 6-th, but the code is for 4 letter.
I make a video WT, k?
ReplyDeleteI`m out but never opened the chest and didn´t need the SD. Just clicked the color code according to the amount of plant leaves and out!!??
ReplyDeleteNot convinced!
I tired IZKY on box but nothing happened :( but the note says "-A=" on box :(
ReplyDeleteI don't get it either... not the 4 letters, nor the color code... please help!
ReplyDeletePOP solved it :) see clue on the back of paper...

SPOILERykziSPOILER
Nothing got down from the ceiling, so I couldn't use that stick... and don't know what arrow you're talking about.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, worked the color code from the paper.
I see the square on the side of the box, where is the note?
ReplyDeleteThanks, I'm out....but not by following all of the steps.
ReplyDeleteWhat is the 3 number code please ?
ReplyDeleteThe screwdriver got you one of the rods just past the box and that pulled the blinds down to give you code for back of painting. Had to put letter backwards into box. clue on back of paper with A on it.
ReplyDeleteGreat game!
thanx everyone~I'm out
ReplyDeleteI don't get the thing with the three different sized sticks on it...it wont let me do anything with it...what clue did I miss?
ReplyDeletewell, it must be a bug...it was the first thing everyone did to get a key...I can push the button below, but I can't input numbers or anything else...it is just 3 white rectangles...
ReplyDeletethanks for all the helpful comments. I wouldn't have gotten very far without them!
ReplyDeleteI loved this game. It was perfect. Great graphics, nice flow. Mentally challenging puzzles with out a lot of math. Thank you to the game authors for making this simply elegant game... it was your best one yet.
ReplyDeletehave every thing else justneed color code for door
ReplyDeleteThis is my first walkthrough. Please post any corrections.

There's something I'm missing from my computer for playing Jan's room games, because I can never get past a black screen when trying to load them.
ReplyDeleteWould any kind soul like to give me an idea for what it might be, please?
The posted images look so good....
=)
First I have a black Screen (box) too, and I must wait. after 20-30 seconds I could play normal.
ReplyDeleteTry and wait a minute, if it doesn´t work, posted it please.
(sorry 4 my broken English)
To EGWandOUT:
ReplyDeleteI think you were replying to my comment, so thank you for that, but I wait over half an hour for it to load, refresh, then wait again. I know sometimes games take a long time to load, so I always give them a chance, but this is probably far too long =)
I do know that Jan's rooms aren't the only games I can't play, and I'd love to know what I need to install. It could be a problem with Adobe Flash, because that sometimes crashes on my very small computer.
I've had a look around, and I can't find out myself what I need [and please don't say a new computer - that suggestion is getting a little "old", haha]
out with no help. I just love these. And funny how there are 2 Room 4 ones :D
ReplyDeletecaught this one from the random section
ReplyDeletethx for all your creations, Jan (or how have I call you, dev?) ☺
still a great game!
ReplyDeleteThis game is frustrating, all the valid clues seem to need another clue to change them. But the puzzles become active before finding the second clue. Trial and error everything. The clue showing circles going backwards is for the puzzle with square letters.
