Looking at the 9 pics in inventory, only the green door and the last pic of a blue door with a light above it are the only doorseft to open.
Where is that last blue door? I haven't seen it...
I checked that floor presuming the clue was there but didn´t get it.

ReplyDeleteThe code for the keypad in the basement is on the backside of the Dr Stanley card (different every game).
And for the third stone, it is different for every game as well and it is like Mr. X posted;
Play with the filters until the beam is the same color on both sides of the purple circle.
And sorry, but can't give more information right now. Played it in a rush to catch up and I was lucky with the third stone. For me it was Red in the middle, Green in the middle and Blue one step back from completely right.

ReplyDeleteIn the room where you can put the 3 colored slides in, there you can also look into the microscope to see what colors those slides make if you chnage the settings.
And again, it's very hard to help because I have to do this from memory (all we can hope is kitkatfox comes here and makes a terrific walkthrough like always, I'm not able to right now).
But maybe, just maybe (not sure at all) that third stone is not important at all. You don't use them and maybe you even don't need them to finish the game.

And although I try to describe the directions the best I can you might get lost in the ducts, so here are some hints for the ducts (according to the wall colors);
- BLUE is the way to the MEN's TOILET.
- YELLOW/BROWN is the way to the WOMEN's TOILET.
- GREEN is the way to DR. STANLEY (only go there, through the ducts, to take the stone).
- GREY is the way to the PATIENT.
- BROWN is the way to GREEN and GREY, but also (through the boards) to a New Area.
- RED is the way to the room with all the DRUGS and INGREDIENTS.
- YELLOW is the way to the DOCTORS ROOM.

- GO IN.

- GO to another room and then back to the desk so the nurse is there.

- And now you have to take certain stuff (but where it is, is different in every game). What you need you can read in the book, but from the left cupboard/bookcase it is ASPIRINE and MORPHINE and what you need from all those drawers on the right is GLYCYRHIZA and BEZOAR.
- GO UP. through the vent, RIGHT ARROW (to zoom out), DOWN ARROW and RIGHT ARROW.
YELLOW WALL DUCT
- Zoom in through the vent and then zoom in on the coffee. Combine glycyrrhiza and aspirine and put it in the coffee (in the inventory; use combine button and then the use button). No effect now, that will be a little later.
- Zoom out and then DOWN (2x).
HALFWAY UP THE BROWN WALL DUCT
- GO RIGHT (with arrow in the back).
GREY WALL DUCT
- GO UP and DOWN the vent and DOWN AGAIN and you're in the...

- Zoom in on the patient and then take the REMOTE from under the right side of his pillow. In the inventory: combine bezoar and morphine and give it to the poor guy. Zoom out.

- Go through the left (open) door and take the LIGTHER (on the green cabinet on the left) and the BASEMENT KEY (on the belt of the sleeping guard). And go out again.
- GO IN THE ELEVATOR (top of the screen). AND GO TO...
FLOOR 2
- Keep following the arrows till you're in a hall with 2 doors.
- Go in the left door and take the BLUE FILTER (on the left)
- Zoom in on the machine right in the back and put the blue filter in. Now you have to change the slides for every filter (different in every game) and to see your progress zoom out and zoom in on the microscope The line going in the bottom button/light has to be the same color as the line going out. Repeat it till you have the right settings. But in fact you don't have to go to look through the microscope everytime, because if you have the right settings a short interlude will show you so. So just trial and error will do.
- Go to the microscope and take the STONE OF LIGHT.
- Go back to the machine and take the GREEN FILTER (you can take all 3 but you only need the green one).
- Go out.
- Now you have a conversation with a guy and you get a FILE FOLDER and you can take the GUN and the STONE OF TIME.
- Follow the arrows and into the elevator.
- GO BACK TO FLOOR 1 and GO OUT (open door on the right) and on the map choose the bottom left location to...

BASEMENT
- Zoom in on the codepad next to the door and you automatically use the keycard. But you also need a code. It's different every game, but it's on the backside of the Dr. Stanley card you took in the bedroom. So look at it and use that code, click the green button and go in.
- Take the SMALL NOTE from the floor.
- To deactivate the laser zoom in on the top part of the laser and put the green filter in.
- Now you have to open the safe. The code is different every game, but the hint is the floor tiles. The bottom row is dial 1 (the left one), the second row is dial 2 etc. Now look on every row wich tile is deeper than the other tiles (a deeper tile has no light line on the left and top). Count from left to right and if no tile is deeper in a certain row then that row/dial is 0.
- Zoom in on the safe and put the dials the way your code is and take the RED FILE.
- GO OUT in the elevator and back to floor 1 and out.
- On the map (try to go back to the HOSPITAL but you will get shot and end up on the...
STREET
- GO RIGHT (arrow above car) and take the SCREWDRIVER

- Now you have the final conversation with the guy and you get his TIME TRAVEL DEVICE.
- Use the time travel device to break the green door.
- Go all the way down the stairs.
LITTLE HALL with GREY DOOR on the RIGHT.
- GO IN the grey door and you're in the...
BEDROOM
- There's a LITTLE BOX on the bed now, take it. And after the little end conversation you're out.

ReplyDeleteNice game until the floor tile counting!! I tried counting from left with/without the ones under the cabinet. Counting from right. counting ones with line top and side and subtracting from 8. And any other combo I could think of.(I know it goes bottom to top) NOTHING works!!! I give up! :(((

I just played again and the tiles are really the hint.
Don't count the tiles under the safe/cabinet. Just look at the 6x6 grid to the right of the safe/cabinet. The bottom row is for dial 1. Count on that bottom row from left to right to see what tile is deeper. Then one row up for the second dial and there count again from left to right etc. etc. No math just what tile (column) is deeper in a row.
Something not completely right in the WT is the way to use the slides to get STONE OF LIGHT.
I wrote "the lines on the bottom have to be the same color", but it has to be "the lines on the bottom have to be the same color as the bottom knob/light".
Anyway, this time I looked, after finishing the game, at the score (only 217 players finished) and on the first place is a guy called Bluefire and he finished in 3:11 !!!!?????
But more importantto see there is; Somehow there's more in this game because it seems you can find 5 stones instead of the 3 we found (and mentioned in the WT).
How and where I don't know. Maybe someday with not many live games I'm gonna try to find out. But if somebody did find 5 stones, please do post how to get the missing two.
There was no problem with tiles but I had to restart the game, because I got a bug when trying to get the Stone of Light: the location when you zoom in the filters suddenly became unavailable. Also I did not get the whole plot at the end, including the first part of the game. So, the young man, who steal the case in the first part, the old man in the bed, the old man in the lab, the old man in the house was the same dr. Stanley?

ReplyDelete@ rafaga, I was able to find a 4th stone. It's the "Stone of Fire" and you get it by burning the doctor's coat instead of the bathroom rag in order to scare the dog away.
ReplyDeleteIt seems that the doctor's coat is not needed back at the hospital once the guard has seen you in it the first time.
So far, that's 1 stone at the hospital, 2 stones at the lab and 1 at the house.
I still can't find a 5th stone everywhere. I wonder if the different colors of the stones have a bearing on where they can be found?
Maybe combining different medical ingredients and using them in ways or places?
Or maybe burning something else somewhere else? I am sure I saw a candle somewhere but can't remember where.

Yes, I also got the Stone of Fire when burnt the doctor's coat but no idea where get the green Unknown Stone. By the way no need to give a patient any drugs, you can just enter the room and take the remote.

ReplyDeleteI'm afraid you have to start over, because (in this game) you're a man and now the nurse thinks you're a creep and won't give you the key.
But you can play on as well because you only need the key to get a stone that you won't need to finish (although it's more fun to try to find all 5 stones).

I've enjoyed replaying this game to get it anyway, so don't be put off that it's just one extra item; it's a cool stone =)
All I will say is, look even into places you don't need to be, and it's near some green railings =)

ReplyDeleteFor those who are still playing. I combined bezoar and morphine. In the inv. I have a sheet with powder and some pills. I zoomed in on the poor guy but when I click the mixture en choose 'use' it says 'you can't use this item'. I allready have the remote.

I somehow missed this when it was first released and it seems very (dare I say it?) Dream House like...I couldn't find all the stones so I had a peek at Blue Fire's video. I'm not sure where the clue about mixing and using the traditional Chinese medicine (ginseng & ganoderma) on the poor guy to get the stone of life was though...
