@Stephanie - the three-digit code came from the trophy case and the three different kinds of awards in there. Combined with the "TV" clue paper. There are 5 plaques, 3 urn-shaped trophies, and 2 other trophies + 2 ribbons (making the last number 4).

ReplyDelete@Pascale - The dumbells give the solution to the order of the Left and Right buttons for the box on the floor.
ReplyDeletePascale, the dumbbells are facing either left or right. Use the arrow clue on the back of the poster to open the L/R button box on the floor. (See MegiPoland's comment @7:18 for the order)

Not a real difficult game (for a Jan's room), but I'm still wondering about the clue on the backside of the paper with the clue how to open the box on the floor.
ReplyDeleteThe front side of that paper is clear; the 'two shape' with an arrow is the hint how to look at the dumbells and on the the dumbells you look at what side the number is to get the left, right, right etc. code. So for that you don't need the backside of the paper and also not for all the other codes. So what was that backside about?
@small-tool: the backside hint is for the thing you get from middle locker. If you've cleaned the mirror and put the hint back there it gives you the solution for black and red knob (see post from dark_o_hart at 7:28)

But now I see you can use that paper to see/understand that (how far apart) hint better with those 8 lines at the bottom of the paper.

WALKTHROUGH

BOXING RING
- Zoom in (1x) on the boxing ring. Click the bottom right part to see and take the CHAIR. Zoom further in on the boxing ring and zoom in on the red pole to see RED-BLUE HINT part 1 (B, O, G is on red). Zoom out (1x) and go left. Zoom in on the blue (purple?) pole to see RED-BLUE HINT part 2. (X, I, N is on blue). Zoom all the way out.
- Zoom in on the poster on the backwall and take it, it's the LEFT-RIGHT HINT part 1 (look at the backside of that paper/poster and see a 2 with an arrow).
- GO RIGHT.
MIRROR and DUMBELLS
- Zoom in on the dumbells to see LEFT-RIGHT HINT part 2 (the writings on the dumbells are on the left or the right side).
- GO LEFT.
BOXING RING
- Zoom in on the box on the floor and open it with the left-right hints you found (after clicking the code, click the handle to open it) and take the TROPHY SHAPE.
- Zoom in on the panel on the backwall and put the trophy shape in to open it. And now you see the trophy case and that's 3-DIGIT HINT part 1 (4 kind of thropys, count them).
- GO RIGHT.
TV
- Zoom in on the lockers. Look at you chair and unfold the chair and then use it to get the RED-BLUE BOX (don't place the chair, but use the chair on the box).
- Look at the red-blue box and open it with the red-blue hints you found. Take KEY #1. Don't close the box yet, but click the hole in the top right and then take the paper with the 3-DIGIT HINT part 2.
- Open the left locker with key #1 and take the BOXING GLOVES.
- Open the middle locker and take the RED-BLACK BOX.
- Zoom all the way in on the 3-digit code panel on the door of the tv-cabinet. Put in the code (use your 2 hints), click the button and take the REMOTE.
- Zoom in on the tv and use the remote on the tv. Keep clicking till you have seen all the screens and now you have seen FIRST PUNCH HINT part 1 (where to punch and how it's called).
- GO LEFT.
MIRROR and DUMBELLS
- Look at the boxing gloves and see FIRST PUNCH HINT part 2 (the letters on them).
- Zoom in on the punch bag and use the boxing gloves to punch the bag on the right spots and in the right order (use the two punch hints you found). Take KEY #2.
- GO RIGHT.
TV
- Zoom in on the lockers and open the right locker with key #2. Take the CLOTH.
- GO LEFT.
MIRROR and DUMBELLS
- Zoom in on the mirror and use the cloth on the stain to see the RED-BLACK HINT. It's red lines on the trophy case and if you remember (or look at it again, it's in your inventory) the poster on the trophy case you know where the red lines are placed.
- Look at your red-black box and open it with that hint (again; click the handle after pushing the buttons) and take the END KEY.
- GO LEFT (2x).
DOOR
- Use the key on the door and open it with the key. You could go out now for the NORMAL END, but you don't want that so go back to the...
TV
- Use the remote again on the tv and now there's an extra screen after the last screen you saw before. This the SECOND PUNCH HINT for the other punching bag.
- Zoom in on the punching back and use the gloves on top-top-bottom-bottom-middle-top and you're out with the HAPPY END.
SOLUTIONS
ReplyDeleteBOX ON THE FLOOR
- The 2 shape was to look at the dumbells from bottom row right to left, the middle row from left to right and then the top row from right to left.
- In that order the dumbells had the writing on L-R-R-L-L-R-R.
RED-BLUE BOX
- The letters on the two poles in the boxing ring make together the word boxing. BOG was red and XIN was blue. So in the order BOXING it is R-R-B-B-B-R.
3-DIGIT CODE
- On the paper on top the black square and that's the square trophys and 5 of them in the trophy case. Below that the cup with ears and 3 of them in the trophy case. And on the bottom the shapes of those other two trophys and if you add those you have 4, so the code is 534.
FIRST TIME PUNCHING
- On the tv you saw top dot is S(traight), right dot is H(ook), bottom dot is B(ody) and middle dot is U(ppercut).
- On the gloves was SBUHBS.
- So punch the dots like this top-bottom-middle-right-bottom-top.
RED-BLACK BOX
- On the poster you took away from the thropy case you saw 8 lines on the bottom.
- On the mirror you see the red lines on position 1, 4, 5 and 8. So the order to click the buttons is Red-Black-Black-Red-Red-Black-Black-Red.

ReplyDeleteJust some extra hint about RED-BLACK BOX. If you put the poster back on the wall before looking into the cleaned mirror, the clue is obvious.
I also just used the mirror for the red/black hint and thought it was a little vague...much easier with the poster back in place.
ReplyDeleteAnd if I clicked as fast as Ellie does in her video walk through I'd have browser menus popping up all the time but only when doing the puzzle boxes or the moving the numbers...and only on Jan's Room games and a couple of others. Hmmmm...it's got me beat as to why.
