ReplyDeletethe whole secret is dividing the grid into 4 5x3 grids. then, from top to bottom, spell 'spade', 'diamond', 'club' and 'heart' as if connecting the dots. you'll get a figure which is actually a number for opening the door.
each 5x3 grid is for a number: the first is for 'spade', the second for 'diamond', third for 'club' and last one for 'heart'
so the clue in the book said that the letter grid was 5 x 12 and that each word needed to be found in it's own grid of 3 x 4

How to use the letter paper spoiler

ReplyDeleteThe clue to the second key in the window comes from one of the books...about remaining still like a mountain. Open the window and you don't need to click anywhere, the key will drop in about 15 seconds.
