HANDLES
@premiere -- thanks for the blue handle hint -- I was seeing the last 2 handles in reversed order.
ReplyDeleteNow, why is "1" closed and "0" open? In Logic "1" is True (which I would say = open/on) and "0" is False (which I would say is closed/off). Similarly in binary numbers.
Not a big deal in this game, as you only have 2 options (once you get the pipe handle order! lol)
Puzzled,
ReplyDeletebefore you change the handles, they all vertical = closed = 0
turn to open = 1 = horizontal
;-)
A nice little game although not strictly logical in the solution.
ReplyDelete1. From the first scene pick up the screwdriver from the floor.
2. Move round to the left and focus in on the panel on the wall.
3. Use the screwdriver to remove the panel cover.
4. Move back out and round to the left again. Open the cabinet and remove both the acid and glycerol. Combine these two items in the inventory.
5. Move again left and pick up the piece of paper on the sink.
6. Move down and open the under-sink cabinet. Get the wrench.
7. Move round left from the sink and pick up the hairdryer.
8. Move left twice so you're facing the shower.
9. Use the wrench to remove the shower head
10. Put the acid+glycerol in the bowl under the calendar and put the paper in the resulting fire.
11. Note the date on the calendar.
12. Move round to face the door again and focus in on the drainage taps.
13. Using the scheme on the paper move the taps so that they are (from top to bottom) horizontal, horizontal, vertical, horizontal, vertical.
14. Move back to the first position and you'll see the water has drained away revealing a clue.
15. Move back round to where the light is shining on the animal tile and click the lamp to twist it round.
16. Move right and zoom in on the lost phone in the corner.
17. Highlight the dryer and use it to dry the phone.
18. Zoom in on the phone and click the date you saw on the calendar.
19. Note the clue and move back to the animal tiles.
20. Use the shower head to smash the elephant tile and get the key. (why can't you just use the wrench to smash the tile?)
21. Move back to the door, unlock it and escape.
I liked this one :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the 2 walkthroughs! (needed bit of help for the handles so thanks for posting the picture @ premiere!
I agree with PuzzledinCA. When you start the water is on because it's running all over the floor. So "1" should be vertical should be "on". Oh well, picky detail anyway.
