Hm, the amount of Yellow, Blue and Red fish doesn't work as code :(
ReplyDeleteStuck on the same place, small-tool. Hum...
ReplyDeleteいろはにほへと = I dimly ABCs to
ReplyDeleteOk, googling it, I found out that いろはにほへと is actually part of a poem of the 10th century. It means "As colors smell but fall."
ReplyDeleteGreat, that really helps.
Are the fish swimming in a letter pattern?
ReplyDeleteI don't think so. However, since that poem was used to learn the japanese alphabet (as PurpleLogic seems to have underlined it), I guess the code is somehow japanese letters related to those colors.
ReplyDeleteI'll try that.
Wow, cool, it's that language barrier again. That's gonna be fun ;-P
ReplyDeleteyellow = kiiro = きいろ = 黄色
ReplyDeleteblue = aoi = あおい = 青い
red = akai = あかい = 赤い
I tried the first letters in romaji (kiaaa) and in hiragana (きあああ), and I tried the whole thing in hiragana... Nothing works.
I starting to thing about leaving this game.
If you have a translate plug in http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E3%81%84%E3%82%8D%E3%81%AF%E6%AD%8C
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, please anyone give me a clue where to use that shovel I just got.
ReplyDeleteWe need a true translator.. So I will return later
ReplyDeleteI think shovel in first scene, give to the froggie
ReplyDeleteWell, いろ means color, so that line obviously refers to the name of the colors. Yellow, blue, blue, red... きいろ, あおい, あおい, あかい
ReplyDeleteWhatever, I'm leaving. I have no patience left! Good luck with that.
Thanks Purple. Well, maybe I can hack it. Let's see :P
ReplyDelete...No, not right now. I would do this over an API (on-line) and I found the backend to be entirely shut down. I get nothing but timeouts and silly messages. Drat.
ReplyDeleteI love these games....too bad it is not playable in English! :-(
ReplyDeleteDitto Nokra, right there with ya. :(
ReplyDeleteAnswer is はいいろ or 灰色
ReplyDelete(Entering either option works)
Clue is color & number and the いろは character ordering sequence.
Blue = 1 = い
Red = 2 = ろ
Yellow = 3 = は
So, YBBR gives はいいろ or 灰色 (grey)
After you solved that puzzle, you'll get the clue for the 4 buttons.
Hint:
N = ほく
E =とう
S =ナン
W =さい
If these games can only be played in a foreign language, it would be a really good idea to put that in the description.
ReplyDeleteI'm not spending three hours on Google translate to play an escape game.
