ReplyDeletekeep counting you will get it
ReplyDeleteon to 10 now and I think I'm done with counting for now. lol
ReplyDelete@Cee Bee it is a real word... did you include the title when counting? (except for me, I didn't include title for counting 'U'??)
ReplyDeleteSo stuck on l3. I think I'm using the wrong letters.
ReplyDelete@annaby look at the answer I posted - see jpg's comment and you'll get the word without counting any more (at least I think you will, as the letters are close)
ReplyDeletewhile taking a break from counting, a belated response to @jbg: I don't know what I did to deserve your high opinion, but thank you :)
ReplyDeleteT'lai what shapes do you see
ReplyDeleteT'Lai,
ReplyDeleteHalf a doughnut looks like a C, a tyre looks like a an O etc.
What are you doing to us S-T - LOL!!!!!!!!!! Yat another level of counting. My fingers and toes are tired!!!
ReplyDeleteStuck on LEVEL 9
ReplyDeleteSPOILER Now What?
The shapes I see give me the letters 'c' 'o' 'l' 'n' 's' which doesn't spell anything.
ReplyDelete@T'Lai...Try rearranging those letters
ReplyDeletenot L but the other one
ReplyDeleteT'Lai,
ReplyDeleteCOINS is a word
@T'Lai, use another straight letter instead of 'l'
ReplyDelete@T'Lai: Its an i not an L.

ReplyDeletegood anagram solver
ReplyDeletehttp://wordsmith.org/anagram/advanced.html
well, still can't get the right numbers on 8, so will take a break
ReplyDeleteAny hints for LEVEL 9 after converting numbers?
ReplyDeletestuck on level 9...
ReplyDeleteThanks all. I figured since the arch only makes a lower case "n" all the letters would be lower case. :P
ReplyDeleteFor level 9: Find another number and start counting.
ReplyDeletetranslate then use the hidden number
ReplyDeleteon to 12 now.
ReplyDeleteHey y'all. I feel kinda stupid, mostly 'cause I'm usually a whiz with riddles, but I'm stuck on level 2. I've got: line 1-wo 2- ? 3- fer 4- ring
ReplyDeleteno f on 3 2= concentrate on the word end
ReplyDeleterandom...recheck your work...I believe it is already said but 2 is end without a beginning, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteRandom 3rd line middle = 'e'
ReplyDeleteI'm still clueless on lvl9 after translating - what's the "number" everyone is referring to??
ReplyDeletestill not getting 9 :-/ don't see a hidden number?
ReplyDeleteCome om guys what would be the number on level 9 (nine).
ReplyDeleteI'm only halfway through counting in level 9 and lost
ReplyDeleteJust fell over this - help level 1, i get the initial idea, complete phrase? cos type what I see does not work -
ReplyDeletewouldn't you know POP - got it!
ReplyDeleteDoes the previous answer have anything to do with the level 12? I can relate it to the picture.
ReplyDeleteMy brain just doesn't work like yours S-T - LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteI wish it did!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you again, I don't know why I didn't think of that - dooohhh!!
Yay, I got it! Thanks you guys. When it hit me, I was thinking: 'I am so thick. Thick thick thick thickety thick. I am incredibly dense.' On to level 3!
ReplyDeletelevel 12 nothing to do with previous what is shape
ReplyDeletestill don't get 9
ReplyDelete@annaby: You just posted the hidden number.
ReplyDeleteNope. I'm stuck again on lvl 5 now. Bah.
ReplyDelete@JBG/@mtatt100 - great work guys!! from what I see you're 2 levels ahead of us...........any small (pun intended :))clues to help with 10 & 11?
ReplyDeleteThanks, on to 13 now.
ReplyDelete@Cee Bee: Pay attention to what those words are and what is special about those words. Put the two together.
ReplyDelete@ceebee have finished did you read the start page
ReplyDeleteBtw. Don't think too much about the pictures on level 13 and level 14. They're inside jokes about a riddle maker (Tim Tang) who thinks he is ruler of the world.
ReplyDelete@mtatt100 - I thought I'd read the start page............ now you have me thinking......... did I miss something really basic???
ReplyDeleteas small said don't overthink
ReplyDeleteHave to go - have fun everyone
ReplyDeletehmmmmmmm........... they are all countries and the capital letters spell 'no not easy' - am I on the right track?
ReplyDeleteyes and no ceebee concentrate on what you said first
ReplyDeleteSorry to lose you annaby - cu soon!
ReplyDeleteYep, they're all countries and countries do have a capital. So find the capitals and pick letters. No anagram.
ReplyDeletefinally got 9! was overthinking... looking for hidden number in translated sentence....
ReplyDeleteWell, level 14 has me stumped.
ReplyDeleteJBG,
ReplyDeleteWhat is the sun telling you?
level 10... nice
ReplyDeleteI recognize what the symbol is in the sun, but I don't know what it is telling me.
ReplyDeleteWhen you know what the sun is telling you, just count. Annd when you count from top to bottom and from left to right it isn't even an anagram.
ReplyDeleteI can't figure out level 5! I've taken the brain out of both words and I'm not left with anything useful!
ReplyDeletehuge spoiler that one for 14
ReplyDeleteYeah! Got 11 w/o looking at hints...
ReplyDeletenevermind, I got it. I liked that level. lol
ReplyDeleteEllis,
ReplyDeleteIt says NO BRAINER, not NO BRAIN
@Ellis, I think you have to take out all of 'brainer'
ReplyDeleteNow i just feel stupid!! Thank S-T & Laura
ReplyDelete@Ellis, I did the same thing at first!
ReplyDeleteAre the things in level 3 supposed to be letters? e.g. 'Half a doughnut'= c or 'a tyre'= o
ReplyDeleteLEVEL 12...Colors? Shapes? Math? Totally clueless LOL
ReplyDelete@The Random, you are on the right track!!
ReplyDeleteThe Random,
ReplyDeleteYou're very right, indeed C and O, keep on going like that.
@PurpleLogic, I'm where you are... someone said look at the shapes ...
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately I have to go :(......... I would really like to stay and finish this, but duty calls.......... thanks to all of you (especially S-T) for all your help so far. Hopefully when I come back you'll have left a lot of helpful hints for me to take advantage of. Thanks EG24 gamers!!!
ReplyDeleteLevel 12
ReplyDeleteThe previous level had the title; No maths, no goolge. And now the title is just; No Google. so maybe it is a little bit about maths.
@PurpleLogic Yay, I'm so happy! O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!
ReplyDeleteDespite what level 16 tells me to do, I think I am still overthinking. I can't make anything work.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry s-t but you're just too cryptic for me!!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to give up due to it being very late here in the UK now but I wish everyone else the best of luck trying to get through all the levels.
I only made it to level 6!!
Well done once again s-t on keeping everyone entertained!!
ok got it now. I was definitely overthinking. Level 16 is very basic.
ReplyDeletestaring at square level 12 and can only think R for right angle.... wrong I'm sure....
ReplyDeletefor everyone else don't overthink level 16 you do that next level :)
ReplyDeleteLaura,
ReplyDeleteLook at the square as squared!
laura apply what you a staring at to the number
ReplyDeleteLEVEL 12
ReplyDeleteMaths are my weak suite. So I will need a larger nudge.
@laura: What does square and math have to do with each other?
ReplyDeleteA Square Squared? Now even more lost LOL
ReplyDelete@purplelogic: What is the square equal to?
ReplyDeletePurpleLogic,
ReplyDeleteFirst of all; make the letters (RBY) numbers and then do the maths.
thanks all! left to feed boys and came back and got 12 with all the hints...
ReplyDeleteGrrrrr! Stuck on level 6! Not sure how to look at that logically... (or look at it with maths, either)
ReplyDeleteThe Random,
ReplyDeleteRead it like this; S and WITCH
@The Random, which one was level 6?
ReplyDeleteno idea for level 13... no-one said much other than don't pay much attention to picture so I must be missing something obvious?
Well, I'm going to have to stop for now. I have to leave. Level 18 is past half way though so I can feel good about stopping here.
ReplyDelete@laura: Apply the title(useless notes) to the words. Ignore the picture.
ReplyDeleteLaura,
ReplyDeleteNotes can be something else than you're thinking of.
Thanks small-tool on to 14
ReplyDeleteI have hit a wall on Level 12. So I will be back later when I can think again.
ReplyDeletei feel really stupid, but i cant get passed lvl 1, i saw the phrase, tried typing that and breaking it down to smaller pieces, but cant get it ... can someone help me please
ReplyDelete@laura Level 6 is the one with a picture of sand and a picture of a witch.
ReplyDelete@rds665 remember to enter the entire phrase without any spaces
ReplyDeletecan someone help with lvl 1 please, i read the posts, see the phrase, but none of it is working... what am i missing?
ReplyDeleteI may have hit a wall on 13, despite hints (thanks s-t and jbg!) It's not just taking out all the letters in notes...
ReplyDelete@rds665 are you typing first letters of all the words, no capitals or spaces?
ReplyDelete@purplelogic..... ty so much
ReplyDeleteLEVEL 1
ReplyDeleteSPOILER
Enter this all in lower case without any spaces between words
@PurpleLogic, did you first convert RBY to number? That number is the square of another number...
ReplyDeleteLaura,
ReplyDeleteThe musical notes are A, B, C, D, E, F and G, so get rid of all of them.
rds665,
Use every first letter of every word and use that as answer without spaces.
Still stuck on level 12...TY for all the hints but I am math dense now. Feel free to email me any more direct hints so as not to ruin it for others
ReplyDeleteThanks @s-t! and I call myself a musician...
ReplyDeleteOk, so on level 6, I know that the word 'and' is there. I've tried putting it through my brain (which is great at solving anagrams) and came up with nothing. I am LOVING this! I almost never get challenged by anything!
ReplyDeleteHi guys! I read the comments about L9 but I don't get it. I translated the numbers and apllied the hidden number on those letters but nothing comes understandable to me. Do I need to do the same as in L8?
ReplyDeletePurpleLogic,
ReplyDeleteHere on EG24 we spoil it all, it's up to the readers if they want to be spoiled or not.
Anyway; Make the letters numbers and you have a 5 digit number. That's the square or squared. So for the line, take the square root and convert the numbers back to letters again.
LEVEL 12
ReplyDeleteConverted RBY to numbers, then multiplied them and found square root, but do not understand how to enter an answer
random you have s and witch
ReplyDeleteIsa use the number to pick letters from text
*applied
ReplyDeleteEasy way to count letters on level 8 (though it's probably too late for most people) either use the find on page in your browser and ignore the ones not in the text, or copy the text into a document and use the find feature there. I wish I'd thought of it before counting and recounting...
ReplyDeleteOMG TY TY SOOOO MUCH ST.. I would have been on 12 forever
ReplyDeleteIsa,
ReplyDeleteIt's level 9, so after you made the numbers into letters to get a sentence, pick every 9th letter to get a four letter answer.
Omigod. Again, I am thick. Also, if you don't mind my saying, I like you, small-tool. You seem nice. (which is just a friendly compliment)
ReplyDeleteThank you mtatt100 and small-tool. I'll try it.
ReplyDeleteyes but you haven't seen him yet lol
ReplyDeleteStuck on 15, any help?
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteMy rather advanced intellect is telling me that there is a pattern or the like in level 7.
ReplyDeleteOh my God! How angry I was about this level 9! :) Thank you so much!
ReplyDeleteLevel 15
ReplyDeleteThe text on the level is a big hint and the the text on the picture is a big hint. But the tricky part is; although you think you have an answer that sounds ok with just the text, it's not right because you have to use the same method on the title.
The Random,
ReplyDeleteNo patteren at all on level 7. Just make it words and count.
Thanks small-tool on to 16!
ReplyDeletestuck at 3, what shape arch?
ReplyDeleteAn arch is a lower case letter.
ReplyDeleteNot an U, try it upside down.
@s-t The Random deeply apologizes for being so dense, but he will require a bigger nudge.
ReplyDeletestuck at 14 :-( I guess I don't know what the sun is telling me....
ReplyDeleteFor level 7,
ReplyDeleteFor example; 3 is three, so that's a word with 5 letters. And the 5th letter in the alphabet is E.
LEVEL 14
ReplyDeleteWhat product does is this logo famous for?
laura,
ReplyDeleteThe sun has a Windows logo in it, so what would you count on the buildings and the transprort things?
thanks @s-t and PurpleLogic! must be because I'm a mac person :-0
ReplyDeleteOh, I think I get it now. 77 is seventy seven, which has thirteen letters, and the thirteenth letter in the alphabet is M. Am I way off?
ReplyDeleteAAAH, MACs are wonderful!!!
ReplyDelete@The Random, you've got it now!
ReplyDeleteYep The Random, but count again; seventy seven has 12 letters is L
ReplyDeleteOops. Cut me some slack with the counting, that's more fingers than I have. :P
ReplyDelete@The Random, except 77 has 12 letters...
ReplyDeletestuck on level 15 :-( sorry I'm asking for help on every level! am I supposed to cut out some of the center of each title? but don't know how much to take out?
ReplyDeleteLaura,
ReplyDeleteNot just 'some of the center' but the whole center. And don't forget about the title!!
Go ahead and throw it all out!!!
ReplyDeleteStuck there with you Laura.
ReplyDeleteMisery loves company I guess
thanks @s-t and Yoli.... @PurpleLogic, take it one word at a time....
ReplyDeleteFor level 8, you count the number of times the letters C O U N T appear in sequence and enter it, right?
ReplyDeletestuck on 16! even though jpg said very basic. is it an anagram?
ReplyDelete@The Random, include title in your counting (though I'm pretty sure for U, I didn't include title... ) Also convert numbers back to letters...
ReplyDeleteLaura,
ReplyDeleteIt's very, very basic! Remember what you did on level 1 ?
on 18 rumkin is your friend ;)
ReplyDeleteAll I counted was nine.
ReplyDeletethanks again @s-t! overthinking... trying to use only words from pic...
ReplyDeleteLaura,
ReplyDeleteThat goes for the whole riddle; Never overthink!!!! It's all logical, don't make up your own hints :)
okay thanks @small-tool... but level 17 says to overthink :-)
ReplyDelete@The Random, nine of what? I didn't get 9 of any letter...
Lol, ok Laura. But overthink might be about over think, I mean; think about the 'over' part. Probably lousy English, but I mean; think (look very carefully at) about the first line.
ReplyDeletethanks small-tool! I think that's a big hint :-) but still not quite sure... am I
ReplyDeletelooking for all the letters above the letters in think? don't have to answer, I can keep trying...
*facepalm* Excuse me. *is heard spouting obscenities in the next room* Never mind. I was counting how many times the WORD 'count' appeared.
ReplyDeleteLaura,
ReplyDeleteThe first line has exactly the same amount of words as the second line. That's not a coincidence!!!
In the first line all the words have something in common (btw. the pic. gives you a hint about that too).
So with that info try to pick letters from the second line.
The Random,
ReplyDeleteDon't think words. Think letters!!!
thanks again @small-tool, got it now!
ReplyDeletefor level 20, got some words from the pics, but what to do with the numbers?
ReplyDelete18 looks pretty hard, might be time to call it a night...
ReplyDeleteLaura, spell what you see on the first part
ReplyDeleteconverted numbers to words but don't know what to do with boxes...
ReplyDeleteI counted the number of each letter in count that appeared in both the passage and the title. Then, I used the same process I used in level 7 to convert those numbers to letters. I got dhitk. What am I doing wrong?
ReplyDelete@S-T I have no idea how long this took you to make, but you did an awesome job! The layers on some of the levels are just crazy! I'm not so good at riddles (I'm only on level 11 and that took hints and help), but still. Great work!
ReplyDelete@The Random... for C, I got 7 total (2 in title, 5 in passage), so letter is G...
ReplyDeleteFor O, I got 12 total... etc
Help for lvl 11 please. Do I need to know anything about the Simpsons for this to make sense?
ReplyDelete@T'Lai, agreed, a great game!
ReplyDeletedon't need to know anything about Simpsons... think how those numbers convert to those letters...
@The Random, you actually don't include the title in counting, there are 7 Cs in the text. I used a word processor to count the letters for me. :)
ReplyDeleteoops, sorry @Random! I must be a terrible counter...
ReplyDeleteThanks laura!
ReplyDeleteDid everyone just disappear or did I suddenly just lose the ability to refresh properly? (Stuck on 18 btw)
ReplyDeletewhat do you have on 18 T'Lai?
ReplyDeleteStill stuck on 15 after a small break.
ReplyDeleteAnd not enough of a break I guess. I need sleep. See you all in the morning
ReplyDeleteA bunch of numbers and colored squares.
ReplyDelete@laura, Thanks for the help with 16!
stuck on 18 too... left and came back... have numbers to words, not sure about blocks other than there are the right number to spell each color...
ReplyDelete@PurpleLogic...
SPOILER
take 1st and last letters of every word...
@PurpleLogic, check out S-T's hint at 8/3/12 5:36 PM. The item has a colour too.
ReplyDeleteT'Lai spell out the name of the color in the squares
ReplyDelete@T'Lai, yw! (it was 11? you got from there to 18 really quickly!)
ReplyDeletelol Yep. But only because of all the hints that are up on here!
ReplyDeleteyes it helps! not enough hints for 18 for me yet...
ReplyDeleteOops, yes laura, it was 11, not 16. Still not seeing 18 though.
ReplyDelete@Donas are you still here?
ReplyDeleteT'Lai, read down the last letters of each color
ReplyDeleteyes laura
ReplyDeleteLaura and T'Lai, you will get two 3 letter words, convert the other numbers in the basic way
ReplyDeleteSPOILER (maybe)
ReplyDeleteI'm getting:
cipher=autokey
Is this right? I tried the actual word for what the jumble of letters sounds like, but it didn't work.
thanks @Donas, now have 4 words? do we convert PSHQIC to numbers? feeling dense on this one...
ReplyDeleteyes, that is right, now take the gibberish and decipher it (rumkin is your friend)
ReplyDeletedon't normally do riddles... found an autokey on rumkin.com, is that what you mean?
ReplyDeleteyes, Laura give it a try
ReplyDeleteAlmost 400 comments, so new comments will be on the next page
ReplyDeleteWhat's rumkin?
ReplyDelete@Donas, sorry so slow here but no idea what I'm doing...
ReplyDeletePassphrase??? (cipher?)
Your message = pshqic??
alphabet key???
