  11. Has anyone solved 3? If so, may i have a hint? If it involves serious computer knowledge, then..im stuck well and truly.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Clio, you need to do a screen print for level 3 in order to solve it.

    ReplyDelete
  13. a03e2abracadabra - sorry for changing your name. Thanks. I have to revisit a jonthewatch teaching riddle then to remember how to do it. Thank you for telling me what i need to do, tho. At least, i think there is a jonthewatch video thingy ive seen on how to do a screenshot. Might try another level instead for the moment. Thanks again a03e.

    ReplyDelete
  14. To do a screen print, hit the print screen key in the top right hand corner of your keyboard. Then open paint, and do a control V. I have solved levels 3, 4, 5, 8, 11, 15, and 17. I have a word for 12 but it says I need to be more specific. For level 2, I know the event and the song title but I still can't solve that, any hint?

    ReplyDelete
  15. For #3....Think of a magician's slight of hand. What do magician's do?

    ReplyDelete
  16. For lvl 2..check the logo's of the event to work out the city. Using the time on clock..work out which letter to use. (hope that makes sense without being too revealing). Let me know if i have to delete pls.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Don't worry, you didn't give too much info b/c I still can't get it, but at least I have more to think about now. What about level 18, do I need to know what movie it is from?

    ReplyDelete
  18. Yayyy. Level 3 solved. Thats me done till tomorrow. Thanks for the help. To quote the Clampett's "Ya'll come back now, ya hear". I will need help/hints again tomorrow. haha.

    ReplyDelete
  19. lvl 18. Google the number and relate it to colour of stick for movie. Then...check the name of the character portrayed on left..in relation to the movie name you found. Once again..tell me if i need to delete this.

    ReplyDelete
  20. lvl 2. The event. Check logo's to know which city. Then, using clock and at what time each city is represented...i.e..if 1 O'clock then 1st letter, you will get six letters. To the best of my recollection, no anagram is necessary if starting at earliest time...(i think??)

  21. Hi all, I've been on this for a couple of hours now and got the following:

    2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 12, 18, 19, 22 and 24.

The rest I have some or no idea about.

Gotta go for now, but I'll be back later....

    ReplyDelete
  22. Day 21, is it something to do with Daddy Long Legs?

    ReplyDelete
  23. The last part of Day 21 I mean...

    ReplyDelete
  24. Duh! just got Day 8 as well....

    ReplyDelete
  25. Thank you Clio for the clues, I'm back at this and now have 1-5, 8, 11, 15, 17 and 18. Looks like you solved some very hard ones Rambler. If you are referring to dragonfly on 21, I don't believe it has to do with daddy long legs. I have an adjective that fits for that one, but I'm not sure if it is right. I came out with 7 letters for that level, but it doesn't make a word.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I have LEG(or S)OLRD for the 7 letters for level 21 which obviously doesn't make a word for finding the eight elf. Does anyone else have anything similar to that?

    ReplyDelete
  27. 21 Dragonfly. You are looking for a noun not an adjective

    ReplyDelete
  28. Oh - and I suspect Free State may not be correct

    ReplyDelete
  29. a03eabracadabra. Ive now got 1-9, 12, 18 and 22. Stuck on everything else. Will swap a 15 or 17 for a 22. hahha. Dont know if thats allowed...but being an inveterate help seeker (some may call cheater)..i will try anything.

    ReplyDelete
  30. 15 - look for shapes of letters
17 - look for the extra letter in each word

    ReplyDelete
  31. 22 - google the given name of animal....drink is what you need.

    Thanks..what a trade..a two for one..yayyyy. Thank you so much a03eabracadabra.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Yayyyy..a03eabracadabra..got 17. Thanks to yours and other brains. Working on 15 now.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I had already tried wine, winery, orchard, pink elephant...unfortunately i'm not any closer to solving it. Just like 12 the snake one, I got 2 words that identify the snake and it says close but I always seem to have trouble coming up with the exact answer. For 6, do i need to know who the cat is in the picture frame?

    ReplyDelete
  34. a03abracadabra..read this..you will know..

    ReplyDelete
  35. for animal drink..ummm..let me think....check what the animals friends call it..google that. I dont know how to hint better..and if ive said too much, pls tell me to delete..

    ReplyDelete
  36. TY for the snake one, I'm still completely lost about what animals friends means, but thats ok. Maybe I will just drink some of that wine instead.

    ReplyDelete
  37. got 15 too..!! thank you so much, abracadabra. Hope we did a fair swap..15 and 17 for a 12 and 22. Think my hints for 22 are lacking..but..really dont know how to hint better...

For 6....i reckon you know the show...check ALL the characters names..Only one of them wears that costume. (assuming you clicked the pic and saw the pic underneath)

    ReplyDelete
  38. ummm..22...british drink..purple..blackcurrant..no idea what the animal has to do with it? Maybe its the logo..i dunno? However, its a vitamin drink..usually for children..i think. 6 letters. Once again, if too much info..well..someone else will have to delete...because..im off to bed. Looking forward to help from you again tomorrow, abracadabra. See you then..fingers crossed.

    ReplyDelete
  39. You should be able to get 11, provided you can read all the names on the tombstones. The only cat shows I know is Topcat and Garfield.

    ReplyDelete
  40. wow, ty for 22, I never heard of that and would not have gotten it in a million years

    ReplyDelete
  41. for 6 you need the name of the cat in the picture

    ReplyDelete
  42. TC is right..check the characters..all of em. For 11..ive no idea what you mean...so..swapsies again pls..thanks..

    ReplyDelete
  43. 11 is a 6 letter name, if that helps.

    ReplyDelete
  44. i cant read a thing on 11..cept tombstones. Not to worry, will try again in the morning. Thanks again for all the help a03eabracadabra. See you, (fingers crossed) tomorrow. Till then..happy solving for us both.

    ReplyDelete
  45. The only thing you need to read is the tombstones, I had a difficult time making out the 2nd last one, once I did, I got it. For level 7, do I need to do something with all those letters, it looks like a word search?

    ReplyDelete
  46. re 7.. i read it backwards..after being given a hint..i couldnt read it forwards, tho i guess most ppl could. Every other letter. Dont forget the hint in the pic..

    ReplyDelete
  47. night abracadabra. See you tomorrow. x x

    ReplyDelete
  48. I'm back for a short while. Got 17 thanks to a0Cadacrobab.

The rest, in no particular order...

For 21, I see sources of death on the graves in white (apart from one), but I don't understand the correlation. Should I be able to see something else?

For 15, I see letters, but I don't think I have enough of them.

For 21 I get the same as a0Cadacrobab

For 16, it's surely something to do with a dartboard, but I can't quite catch it

For 9 - I see the differences, but I don't know what to do with them

For 13 - it's a work in progress using the PT

For 14 I've tried the highest level that goats can go, but it's too variable

For 20 - it seems to be a word connection, but I can't get the connection

For 23, It seems that no-one has this yet (Nordinho included). Id Est forward and reversed, perhaps it's something to do with Elizabeth the First?

Anyway, I'm off to bed now. Goodnight

    ReplyDelete
  49. I can help with some of these
21 - You only need the 6 words (1 on each tombstone)
    15 - you need 4 letters
21 - see my earlier comments.
16 - You need to group the scores
14 - Wrong approach. You need the height of a particular place which you get from the clue.

    Now if anyone can help with 9,10,13 and 23 . . .

    ReplyDelete
  50. Unknown: 9 check the different pics....and try each change. One of them is correct.

    23: Think chef.

Still cant find anything on the tombstones in 11.

    ReplyDelete
  51. ....and then got 11 immediately.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Rambler, For 11...i googled the image behind on the right in relation to Christmas.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Rambler - for 11 think anagram

    ReplyDelete
  54. All - 13. Seems you can pair the top elements with the bottom words (e.g. Cobalt + blue) - at least Ive got to 9 pairs + a couple of suggestions - but I cant make anything out of what is left. Does this help in anyway?

    ReplyDelete
  55. Good morning. Thanks for the hints, got 11 and 14 now, I'll be back later on after work.

    ReplyDelete
  56. @Unknown, that's exactly what I'm doing. However it seems cobalt can be linked to magnet too.

    I'll try again tonight....

    ReplyDelete
  57. Clio, for 9 I have named every change I see and still don't have it, is it one word or two?
For 23 I see a 5 letter word associated with chefs, but I assume from the spaces that it is one 9 letter word, is that correct?

    ReplyDelete
  58. a03e2aba etc
9 - It is one word (fooled me for quite a while as well)

    ReplyDelete
  59. Ok, despite all the clues, I'm still missing 10 of these so its time for me to give up. Thank you to everyone who helped, it was fun.

    ReplyDelete
  60. a03e2aba etc If you want to send me an email address I can give you some less opaque clues (sir_cumflex AT h o t m a i l)

    ReplyDelete
  61. Sorry abracadabra. Got distracted this evening. Dont give up. You have answers i need.

    9. Check someones tummy.

    23. ummmm..how to hint..let me think for a tic.

    ReplyDelete
  62. can only stay for a bit..

right..23...the latin bit..at top and bottom..think how to abbreviate..gives two letters. The last bit..royalty, modern..think abbreviation again..gives two letters. The bit in between..think greedyguts shovelling the food in. Then....using letters found..anagram.

    ReplyDelete
  63. and for that..may i swap..10 cactus; and 19 leprechaun? I havent a clue with either. Thanks. See you tomorrow, abracadabra, unknown and rambler. Good luck to us all.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Clio_rose.
19 You do actually have to catch the little green man (by clicking on him as he jumps round the advent calendar). Then you get another clue

10 I am baffled as well

    ReplyDelete
  65. Level 10 is a good riddle. I'm not sure how far you've got but if you decipher the cacti and also do an exchange with the info on the pots, you should get 2 phrases, google them together...

    ReplyDelete
  66. Rambler - clearly you are much further on than I on 10. I'll try to make sense of your hint :-)

13 is the only other one causing problems. I've got 4 elements (well 5 'cos I'm not sure of day 2) left but cant make any sense out of them. Have you solved this one?

    ReplyDelete
  67. @Unknown, the cacti form patterns and there are spaces between the sets of them, it's old school stuff (A certain Inspector might help lol). For the other part, it's the simplest cipher/exchange of all.

For the elements, Day 2 is exactly that (in this riddle!!!)

    ReplyDelete
  68. rambler
day 2 - I see what you mean :-). But I still don't know what to do with the elements that are left? I tried first letters, got a great answer and was then told it was incorrect :-( and could do make nothing of the symbols.

Pots - Yes I had figured that out but Cacti, it is many years since I was last at school and I am still grappling with the conversion

    ReplyDelete
  69. Well, maybe you need to dash (or dot), or maybe a combination of both!!!

    ReplyDelete
  70. Ouch - that really blindsided me. Maybe the two glasses of wine hasn't helped but I should have known better as it often comes up in puzzles.

So off to bed and the final part of 13 tomorrow - hopefully. Thanks for your help

    ReplyDelete
  71. Finally got 13. Unknown: With the letters leftover...i got told that was a humanoid. I wiki'd that name....and got the real answer.

Only Day 16 to go.....but i think that will take me days. If any of you have a sort of mega-hint, that would be great.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Hi Clio, you need numbers for the answer to day 16 instead of a word. First, find the answer to the 5 sets of dart throws.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Thanks abracadabra.

Thank you creo, for the riddle.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Clio - Well done. I got it the same way as well.

No doubt you have Day 16 from abracadabra's last clue so its all quiet until the 25th

    ReplyDelete
  75. Hi all,

Looking for answesr for no 13 and20 any hekp please

    ReplyDelete
  76. I can't see if there is any association for the words to 20

    ReplyDelete
  77. hi Big Al - for 13, have you paired off any elements with the words below yet?

    ReplyDelete
  78. Yes got most paired off left with about 7 letters c p n l h a u Can't see it for looking!

    ReplyDelete
  79. I must be missing something very simple here with 13 but still can't see it.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Hi Al - you are going the wrong way - when you have paired of elements and the script below -you will be left with 4 elemnets that have a very common similarity

    ReplyDelete
  81. Hey everybody, was wondering if its too late to get some help on #3,#13 and #23. For 3- I did the screen shot and read it-still cant wrap my brain around it.For 13 I did the pairing and I think I found the similarities of the 4 remaining-S-----y W---e??and for #20 I cant connect the words and what is that "punch card" looking thing on the top goat's behind- braile?? Thanks for any help. I do have 1 thru 12,14,16,17,18,1921,22 and24 solved if anyone needs help on those. Sorry for such a long post as it is my first time. Also, I am in the States so I'm not eligible for the prize. Thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Thanks Dave for the help and now have 13. just need 20 now and then Christmas day here we come.
If anyone has a hint for 20 please let me know.I can help with others.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Hi everyone. If anyone could help with 9, 14, 15 16. It would be most appreciated. Thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  84. I am not real good at these so I don't have all the answers but here's some help for the levels asked for.

15 Its a color theme, follow and you should have enough to anagram

9 each time change channels you see some differences..one of them is the answer.

14 is a bit tricky because I found at least three different answers to the same question. The action will lead you to the name of a place. Figure that out and then look for the elevation. As I said I had 3 diff answers so just make small changes if it says incorrect and you should get it.

Hope this helps if you are still around.

    I am still stumped on 3 16 20 and 23.

    ReplyDelete
  85. #3 Cast your attention elsewhere!

    ReplyDelete
  86. Can anyone help with my last two please. Nos. 16 and 20. Thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Can anyone please help with 20? Its driving me mad!!!

    ReplyDelete
  88. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Thanks Big Al, I figured it was something like that on 3 but I couldn't see it for looking. Spotted it first try after you posted this lol.

    ReplyDelete
  90. Please someone give us a clue for No. 20. I can help with the others if necessary. Thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  91. For 20, you need 5 different 4 letter words that fit between each of the 2 words. Then you need to choose the correct letter from each four letter word. What made this especially difficult is some of them are very British words.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Does the label on the top sheep play a part in this one?

    ReplyDelete
  93. Yes it does.

    ReplyDelete
  94. Duuuuuhhhh finally got 3 Man do I feel stupid.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Anybody have any other clue as to the "our queenie" part of #23? Could really use a boost on #13 also. Did this forum die or am I just the only schmuck in the rear view mirror? Wow.

    ReplyDelete

  96. b0b - a look at the royal crest and a little bit of latin may help you on 23. For 13, after matching the elements with the words at the bottom you will have some elements left which can be combined to give you the name of a r***t, which will lead you to an egg.

    ReplyDelete
  97. I am still very stuck on 20. I can't find the connecting words. Any hints on where to search for them would be helpful.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Sorry, I made and error on my level 13 hint. The word is not the r***t but the name of main movie character.

    ReplyDelete
  99. LinG, On 23- I think I have the id est part (2 letters) i need help on the "eat all the pies" is it G--T? and the "our queenie" part I can only find one abbr. for the Queen of England and its 4 letters- H---. Am I on the right track ? Got 13 by the way. Thanks

    ReplyDelete
  100. Hi bOb
Sorry you are on the wrong track. Eat the pies
s...f. Our queenie is 2 letters. For the answer think Chef, i.e. French. Good luck.

    ReplyDelete
  101. any more hints for 13 please

    ReplyDelete
  102. bigjb1111- For #13 look for a movie not so well known-to me anyway. Gives the name of the main character. Are you into Ford cars? Remember the old Ford Esgorts? They were made for a long time. I need another push on #23- I have the 2 abbr. parts but still cant get the "eat the pies" part even with the huge clue from Thelma. Man I must be dumb.

    ReplyDelete
  103. sorry everybody if i gave away too much on that last post.

    ReplyDelete
  104. A classic movie (or remake)that features a mysterious alien and a large r***t. You should get a name from the remaining elements after you have paired them off with the words.

    ReplyDelete
  105. Congratulations to whoever wins the prize. I'm in America and am not eligible. I did finish the puzzle though and sent Sandy an email with the final answer.
