ReplyDeleteWhen 3 or 4 people are the only ones writing the WTs, it becomes too much of a pain for them and they can not simply enjoy the games like everyone else. That is part of the problem. Another part fo the problem is that the quality of the games posted here, as you say, has really gone downhill. For some of those games, even a WT is no help because they aren't even playable. For others a WT is impractical for language reasons. And for a few, a WT is just not necessary.
The thing is, that many games have a link for a WT that brings you here. If there is no WT here, two things are going to happen. One, people will stop clicking on those links to come here. And two, game makers will do more video WTs on YouTube and link to them instead, as you mention.
It is an issue though, because without WTs there is very little reason to come here rather than go directly to the game makers' websites via bookmarks in my browser.
BUGGY. Got to 3rd one where you place the red squares in tile thing. Would not place. Went to walkthrough I was doing it right, Still could not put tiles in place. Quit. I hate Buggy games.
