ReplyDeleteWow! I just moved the eggs about a bit on the scales and got the white key! I had made all the eggs into 4.5 kilo lots on the scales, and had two little ones left over. The I added those to the two righthand scales to make 8 and 4 (I think) and the key appeared.

ReplyDeleteI think the weights are because when you click on the first rabbit, it says "I can carry 4.5 and he can carry 4.5", but the second rabbit says "8 and 4", so I suppose that's meant to give us the clue - strange, I'll admit!

ReplyDeleteHave the white and red keys. But no silver or white. Have a fishing rod and 2 anchors I haven't used yet but they don't seem to go anywhere.

ReplyDeleteFishing rod was used in the sea to get one of the anchors, and the anchors go on their own shapes in the two scenes like special keys in an Ainars game (how I love those!). Hope that helps smarties!

- 3, 2.5, 2, 1.5, 1, 0.5 kg, each 2x
Order from bunnies:
- you see pink one first saying 4.5 & 4.5 kg
- 2nd blue one says 8 & 4 kg
- gives 4.5 4.5, 8, 4 kg on scales
Scales from left to right:
(it helps to do 8 & 4kg first)
1) 1x2.5kg + 1x2kg = 2.5+2 = 4.5kg (2 eggs)
2) 1x1.5kg + 2x1kg + 2x0.5kg = 1.5+2+1 = 4.5 kg (5 eggs)
3) 2x3kg + 1x2kg = 6+2 = 8kg (3 eggs)
4) 1x2.5kg + 1x1.5kg = 2.5+1.5 = 4kg (2 eggs)
Anything still clear?...!

Could anyone come up with any concievable and in any way sensible explanation of why we had to portion out the eggs for the right hand rabbit on the left two scales and the left hand rabbit on the right hand scales? It's not even a lack of logic - it's against logic...

Given I had to balance the eggs 3 times to between the 4.5,4.5,8,4 I'm going to score this low. There was no clue as to the order.
ReplyDeleteI agree that the scales made no logical sense. But what can we expect from a game that has a rabbit with fluttering ears hovering above each scene?
