Thought this would be not too hard but stuck now with a burning candle I can only drag in zoomed out scenes, a scroll and a paper dipped into the vase. The puzzle disappeared when I just needed the last peace.

ReplyDeleteOut now (had a few phone calls meanwhile). I do not know if the game was buggy but I could swear I tried the candle at the cake. But maybe I picked up the wrong candle pixel.
ReplyDeleteI am sure that I tried the correct arrow code once or twice and the chest did not open. Finally I tried URDL, then RDLU, and so on, and the second try with URDL was successful. Strange.
A bit buggy. For example, you can cut down the red wire twice - the second time it gets stuck permanently on the upper right of the screen :) No biggie as it doesn't hinder the gameplay, merely funny.
ReplyDeleteThe less funny part is that I, too, seem to have permanently stuck... Got a vase, a pair of scissors, activated the "death skull" machine top floor, got that roll with a hint athat makes no sense to me, got all but one of the chests open - and that's it.

ReplyDeletehaha, got the paper all along - just thought is was kinda the icon of the "close up view2 for the inventory, since whenever i clicked on it, an inventory item came close up :)
Then i realized the sheet is actually an item, too, that can be used :)

ReplyDeleteNever saw the arrow clue, had to BF it. Then when I cut the girl free she somehow disappeared, leaving me alone to escape. Next time I will just leave her.

ReplyDeleteWhat I think the clue to the arrow-puzzle was, was that clocklike thing on the wall on floor#2. I just put in the arrows in order of their appearance on the clock's face: at 12: UP; at 3: RIGHT; at 6: DOWN and at 9: LEFT. So, the right code: UP-RIGHT-DOWN-LEFT.

Lost the box thing and the candle from inventory, a lot of bugs, shame it looked like a good game as well.
