I have all four bits of paper for the code behind the panel next to the boarded up door, but I'm not sure what order they go in.

ReplyDeleteGo Right from first scene. Take star SYMBOL 1/4 from picture.
Take PAPER from bin 1/4.
Take cross SYMBOL 2/4 from side of bin.
Hover over Right arrow and slide to desk view.
Take PAPER 2/4 from bottom R corner of kneehole.
Take SYMBOL 3/4 from RHS of desk by wall.
Go Right.
Click two grey buttons at top of picture to let it fall.
Get PAPER 3/4 from top Right corner of dropped picture.
Go right.
Take notes from board. One has bat picture clue on. Another is Paper 4/4.
Slide on Right arrow to coatrack. Click on black coat for key.
Use key on box by boarded up door, but code won't work yet.
WALKTHROUGH PART 2

Use knife on all edges of blank blue picture. Use SD. Pull down lever.
SYMBOL 4/4 came from somewhere but not sure where - it just appeared in the inventory. Maybe from clicking all over blue circles picture (thanks for that Zoe!).
Input symbols - the order that seems to work is: clockwise from top, Swirly one, cross, button one, star. Get key for CB door. Get AXE.
Input door code - 9725 seems to work.
Use axe ( you want to by now, don't you!) and out!

ReplyDeleteAnyone has the faintest idea why the order of the symbols is what it is? It doesn't seem to relate to the order seen on the hint sheet at all. I've even tried to put the numbers on the other side of the sheet into the equation - but I just don't see. And it bothers me when I don't see the logic.
ReplyDeleteAs for the game, it was quite all right - especially if i learn the logic behind the placement of the symbols... I kinda liked the idea that I could see right away what things I'll find.

ReplyDeleteThe symbols "move" places according to the arrows on the back of the symbols clue paper. Star moves down left, cross moves to the right, red dot moves to the bottom, swirly moves to the top. The number clue also follows the arrows but I've no idea why it starts with 9.
