ReplyDeleteI'm supposed to take a cutter without blades and "work it around"? A cutter without blades is just a handle, lol...
ReplyDeleteYou can use the heights on the cutter handle on the different sizes of balls for a key.
ReplyDeleteAha! Lines on the tag attached to the cutter give clue on how to press yellow buttons.
ReplyDeleteColors of balls used on painting using the calendar order
ReplyDeleteStuck on card reader. SD??
ReplyDeleteAunt letter has code
ReplyDeleteenter the code of the letter and then the template numbers
ReplyDeleteclose the door and voila
What do you mean, "the template numbers"?
ReplyDeleteno voila... what?
ReplyDeletefrom the card reader tallulah
ReplyDeleteThat doesn't seem to work
ReplyDeletehow does card reader #'s, calendar and the lois combine for the code? no sense can i find
ReplyDelete@maxi, What is LOIS upside down?
ReplyDeleteMaxi: I took the word "Lois" and turned it upside down, which gave me 7015. I entered that into the card reader and an inner door opened inside the card reader. After that...don't know what to do.
ReplyDeleteThat's where I'm stuck, Tallulah
ReplyDeleteOh wait, maybe it gave me 5107. It was several minutes ago, I've forgotten since then, lol.
ReplyDeleteOk, ya gotta rearrange the columns in yer head to match the colours, THEN shift them down the appropriate rows matching the templace, again in yer head.... Clear as mud? LOL
ReplyDelete*template and window, of course
ReplyDeletethe template that was in the box
ReplyDeletehave to go down numbers
but is tricky: the colors of the template does not match the card reader
Thanks, Guru.
ReplyDeleteGuru: That is WAY too much work for this caliber of game.
ReplyDeletethe first is yellow, lower it twice, so it is on 7
ReplyDeletethen have to go down the red 3 times, so is 9
and successively
When you get the numbers, do you enter them in order the order they came up when you solved the reader code, or do you have to then match the numbers to their color on the dial? And if you have to match them, do you match them according to the color on the card or the color on the card reader? I suppose I'm making this ridiculously difficult, but that's how it is in my tiny brain.
ReplyDeleteNo Tallulal you're not making it ridiculously difficult, it doesn't work for me either. Following what Sisli said I came up with 7943 (YRBG). Then putting those numbers in the door code which is GRYB it should be 3974. Doesn't work. Very frustrating because the colors don't match and it's hard to tell how many spaces down to find the number.
ReplyDeleteDoor Code Spoiler ............SCROLL down...........

ReplyDeleteuseless game!
Agree Evans. One star for me.
ReplyDeleteGreat game again, Roberto.
ReplyDeleteThanks for making games for us, hope to see many more of them in 2014.
Happy New Year :)
Jennifer said "Just note how many squares there are at the bottom in each column e.g. 1st one had 2 so drop card down 2 notches (mentally), 2nd one had 3 (so drop it down 3 notches) 3rd had none & last one had only 1. The colours assigned are the ones at the top of the slot not those of the card :)"
ReplyDeleteI don't see how got your numbers from that. If i understand you right
I got
R1 B1 Y3 G3
can you post a screen shot or drawing?
anyways i was able to do everything until that last card puzzle. the spoiler worked but would love to have the answer shown in a picture format somehow....
ReplyDeleteBrin3m,
ReplyDeleteYou got that (method) correct, but... the colours on the card are not in the correct order. There was a sneaky extra trick. Before you put the card in (or you can take the card back to see it) you see that the colours have a different order. So you have to do 'mentally' yellow as first colum instead of red. Red as second column instead of blue etc.
oh! thank you small tool.... now i see it!
ReplyDeleteFrom the note from LOIS one can understand that the cutter should be used if there would be a blade, i.e. we are supposed to cut the card into 4 strips. If we would do that, everthing makes sense
ReplyDeleteThat's it Dree! The correct explanation is cutting the card.
ReplyDeleteThanks ST. Pity that some people like more to complain than use the brain.
I wish a Very Happy New year to all of you.

ReplyDeleteVery good. Muito bom.
ReplyDeleteI can't get the 4 different ball button's to give me the key...I thought it was (using sizes 1-4, short/small to long/big) 4,3,1,4,2,1,3,2,4...where am i getting this wrong?
ReplyDeleteI give up also. Don't understand the color code. Explanations in 4 or 5 places just don't put it all together for me. For the ball buttons, Irish Eyes, you are missing a number, I think. It should be 4314213124.
