ReplyDeleteUpside down: 6592:2 = 3246 ... nnno.
ReplyDeleteGood afternoon Zoran.
ReplyDeleteStack with -a
ReplyDeleteHello arrie
ReplyDeleteWhere did you see (:2)?
ReplyDeleteskip the a's and read it.
ReplyDeleteThe "half size number" refers to Japanese character insertion, not the numbers.
ReplyDelete123467890 is full width
1234567890 is half width
So just ignore it
There once was a lady in Gameland
ReplyDeleteWho thought that her brain was brilliant.
But o to her shame
with no one else to blame
She can't pass this brain demand.
Just like arrie: I think I've tried just about any way to read the number and use half of it (assuming "half size number" means half of the number) - nothing seems to work.
ReplyDeleteI tired half of these:
2659,
9562,
6592,
5962,
but none worked.

LOL !!! This is sooooo mean!
ReplyDeleteIt's just the number 9562 ....
Tragic, just tragic ...
Don't take into account what's written under input field.
ReplyDeleteThank you fdbbd (indeed a much better name ...). Would not have passed it without your hint!
ReplyDeleteOK, knowing that this "half size number" is irrelevant, it's suddenly a really simple game :

My brain is stop working. Steel on (-a).
ReplyDelete@Zoran. Read my post at 8:06
ReplyDeleteWhat do you mean YOUR brain stopped working ???
ReplyDeleteStill on level 2.
@Roberto, I have ninetynine, but nothing happen
ReplyDeleteThat's it. The answer is 99.
ReplyDeleteLevel two: read the numbers upside down, from right to left.
ReplyDeleteOut. My grey cells was out of order :)
ReplyDeleteLevel three: count the sides, multiply.
ReplyDeleteLevel 4: see hints above.
ReplyDeletelevel 5: cut the paper, do the math.
ReplyDeleteClear.
ReplyDeleteAs I said in comment 3, a nice game indeed.
Thank you all !!
that was quick - the "-a" was hilarious!
ReplyDeleteAt level 5 (!!) I really thought this game was designed for elementary school students...
ReplyDeleteI guess in this series you guys' greatest "shortcomings" are over-thinking everything...
ReplyDeleteI'm waiting for the day when somebody will use sinus/cosinus theorems or even calculus for solving one of these puzzles ;-)
That's a good idea Arbeitslooser, will you then write the WT? Not just the answers mind you!
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteLOL ... since I doubt you meant that seriously enough to write a WT for 'volume' 6 of this series (*this), I'll answer you like this: sure, should there be one that ever needs a WT---I doubt it!---I'll take the task...
ReplyDeleteGood, I'll hold you to that promise!
ReplyDeleteTranslations site says: I stick to your promise!, Oh well ...
ReplyDeleteFinally one even I could finish.
ReplyDeletePeggy: hahaha i thought the same. Didn't need help, so this one was very easy. Being blond I even CAN'T overthink. LOL
ReplyDeletemuch easier than I expected - never even tried "brain" games before, thought they were dedicated to "brainy" people...
