  7. Well, I've had a go at translating the script on the floor to the right of the red door, using the drawing tool on Google Translate, and I've come up with 'Path is the number of 4-woo network evening' - so no help there then. Fun trying though!

  8. Clodagh, now we just need a translation of your translation. :-)
    Thanks for the effort, though.

  9. Inside drawer clue: "If you add all the numbers, the four
    becomes 22"

  10. Found all hints (they're WELL hidden) but still, I can't figure out the number. But maybe you can?

Here are all 7 locations and transliterations of hints:

    1. inside drawer

2.on left leg of table w/drawers

    3. red book

    4.cyan book

    5.on TV screen

    6.on TV, bottom right

    7.on window (left from center)

  11. In this case, try to use Excite to translate instead of Google: http://www.excite.co.jp/world/english/

  12. OK, actually it's 8 hints, but the first on the wall just says that the PW is 4-digits. But I guess we'd easily have figured that out on our own...;)

  13. If both ends are odd, how can we divide it into a half?

    ReplyDelete
  14. Hmmm, you're right. I'll hack it and spoil the number, maybe the hints will make some sense after all. ;)

  15. Yes! The cyan book says basically that any digit is neither 0 nor 1 nor 9.

So you had to look in a set of figures 2 to 8 therefore.

  17. Hint 1: number's cross total (digit1+digit2+digit3+digit4 = 22)

Hint 3: when number is split up in half, first half taken as a number is smaller than second half (e. g. if number is 1192, compare 11 and 92)

    Hint 6: number's half cross total (digit1+digit2 = 13; digit3+digit4 = 9)

Hint 7: no number occurs twice

    ReplyDelete
  18. Hint 5: "Odd at both ends" = first and last digit are odd

  19. Well done Arbeitslooser for all that research - still can't be bothered with this game though!

  20. Ok. Divide it into a half not by 2. Makes sense.
Great job you did here arbeitslooser.

  21. It's no "game" as such, Clodagh...just a math puzzle for those folks who like math (well I do, it prevents brain cells from 'withering' ;))

    ReplyDelete
  22. oh, why did I do all that research? probably I was bored a little, plus, so many games currently here none of which could really arouse my interest ;)

    ReplyDelete
  23. I'm with you there, Arbeitslooser!
