ReplyDeleteSPOILER
The numbers on the toast refer to the sentence "I think therefore I am" in the following way: a "03" on the toast refers to the third number of the phrase, etc.
Solution: 139

ReplyDeleteBalazs: I don't understand your explanation for the toast. "the third number of the phrase" - but the frase has no numbers - I dont get it.
ReplyDelete@Estefania, the numbers on the toast refer to the letter in the phrase. So the top line on the toast gives "13, 5, 11" which corresponds to O, N, and E in the phrase. So the top number is One.
ReplyDeleteOOOHHHH - Thanks for the explanation, Balazs!!
ReplyDeleteI mean, zoz - :)
ReplyDeletelol, Estefania. I'm glad I could help.
ReplyDeletewhere is the slice of bread??
ReplyDeleteHooray Tesshi-e! Happy Coin and at the bar.
ReplyDelete@Amarantomar. Bread is in the cabinet with the Star-Triangle 3 digit code. on the wheel device where the coin was, click and reveal the three digits on the top wheel.
ReplyDelete@zoz,
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot for the explanation of the numbers on the toast.
BTW, the author of the sentence was the french philosopher and scientist René Descartes (he wrote this in latin "Cogito, ergo sum").
Thank you Tesshi-e for another wonderful escape game!!!
ReplyDeleteHi, guys, if y'all don't already know this, Tesshi-e has a game for sale, "Escape from Mr. M's Room". It's 238 Japanese yen, which converts to $2.35 in US dollars. I figure with all the joy this wonderful developer has brought us through the years, I could spare a few "happy coins" to support him! Plus, you get a lovely wallpaper included for your computer, with Mr. Hippo, Mr. Birdies and the little wooden green man! Here is the site if anyone is interested.. http://www.dlmarket.jp/products/detail.php?product_id=233744

ReplyDeleteLove Tesshi-E games! I missed the phrase clue on the toast, but figured it out from the doubled letters at the end of 'three' and the repeated N in 'nine'.
ReplyDeleteI was reading the book as 'I think, therefore I am toast.' as a bit of a pun on Decartes.
