Very tricky navigation -- the orange nav bars only give you a partial idea of where you can move and the map has no basis for what part of the house you're actually looking for ... I'm not a fan

The trick is to highlight the item you think you should use next and then start searching. Highlight the ladder and clicking the right spot will give you a net. Highlight the net and think you could use it in water and yes, it will give you a key, either for the front door or the car.
