ReplyDeleteThe music on this one...good grief
ReplyDeleteStill waiting for help!
ReplyDeleteGot a key from coffee picture and have a can now
ReplyDeleteWhere's the clue?
ReplyDeleteGot key too: Behind sea-picture I made the word "Coffee" with:
ReplyDeleteC/e o/e
f f
Then I clicked by the coffee-picture the same pattern and it opens.
I'm out. I can stick around though.
ReplyDeleteRoberto,from spelling coffee
ReplyDeleteI still don't get the coffee clue. No matter which buttons you push it spells coffee.
ReplyDeleteYou make your own pattern for opening the other picture. Just remember which buttons you pressed to spell Coffee.
ReplyDeleteGot it too. I was overthinking.
ReplyDeleteGot flashlight from the river-picture using the card-hint from bench and from can.
ReplyDeleteNeed something to hold the lever now.
ReplyDeleteGot a lever from drawer using hint from vase
ReplyDeleteThanks Seedbeads - got it now.
ReplyDeletei got a "note", that's it. stupid game.
ReplyDeletegot lock box, but still nothing to hold the lever up
ReplyDeleteMagnet holds lever.
ReplyDeleteThe key for the box is on the bench.
ReplyDeleteWith number hint from lever-picture I got a number code for bird-picture - gives box
ReplyDeleteI'm out too. Pretty easy for a Tesshi-E game, I thought.
ReplyDeleteMade a hole on can with driller.
ReplyDeleteOpened box with key from bench, got a can-opener that gives magnet for holding the lever.
ReplyDeleteWith SD (used for picture) I got a stick and the key from bench. Using drill from picture on can and use the key chain on it. that gives key from vase.
ReplyDeleteNew key opens the safe behind flower picture. Got magnet from other picture back for stick - need somthing to fix it - will see :)
ReplyDeleteNeed something to fix magnet on stick.
ReplyDeleteThere's tape in the Mr. Birdy puzzle.
ReplyDeleteThe buttons that spell Coffee...are all random, they sh0uld be assigned so the pattern can be repeated, right?
ReplyDeleteFilled the can with water in the box above drawer and got a bird
ReplyDeleteUse wire from can on device to get a Mr. Bird.
ReplyDeletePut the "water"-note in the can and got a hint for the birds
ReplyDeleteUsed tape from birds-puzzle on stick and magnet and got now the spatula from flower-picture
ReplyDeleteWith spatula I got next key from plant, opens picture left side of door
ReplyDeleteSet the NEWS correct and got key from the table
ReplyDeletewet the note and have the bird, but don't understand the clue on the note
ReplyDeletePut the 2 digital (number from lever picture and the digits from table) together to get the happy coin1
ReplyDeleteFor happy coin:
ReplyDeleteSPOILERSPOILERSPOILERSPOILERSPOILERSPOILER
combine partial number hint from compass with number hint behind "happy holidays!" picture and use it right of the door.
SPOILERSPOILERSPOILERSPOILERSPOILERSPOILER
For the Mr Birdy clue - look at the last letter on the machine, not the first.
ReplyDelete@Callme: Note shows not the first letters of the colors!
ReplyDeleteUse last letter from each color. Used the key on door but don't want to get out yet. Didn't open top drawer.
ReplyDeletehehe Anja, a few seconds....
ReplyDeleteDuh! Thanks Roberto
ReplyDeleteYou have to have opened the top drawer - it has the can in it. It locks itself after you get it, for some reason.
ReplyDeleteDon't we need to open top drawer?
ReplyDeleteThanks Seedbeads .
ReplyDeleteroberto, I think I opened top drawer with first key and key disappeared.
ReplyDeleteAnd out with Happy Coin
ReplyDeleteHow do I get water? I have the can, made a hole in it... Do I also need a string?
ReplyDelete@Hotzenplotz: :D
ReplyDeleteString, or keychain - did you take the key off the bench?
ReplyDelete@Valerie: use the key with chain from the bench
ReplyDeleteLove Tesshie game :)
ReplyDeleteWas pretty smooth sailing until I hit the dewee code.. overthinking it, as usual!
Aaaah thanks! Had to unscrew the bench to take the chain and key.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm out too! Thanks for all the help.
ReplyDeleteIt seems I spilled a bit of water onto the dresser when putting water into the brown box on top!
ReplyDeletehow do you set news boxes ?
ReplyDeleteN = sunset
ReplyDeleteW = coffee brewer
S = Trees
E = Creek
Thank you all so much for hints and help. Dewee had me stumped.
thanks clio,but nothing happens ?
ReplyDeletepull the handle on the front of the round compass table,kevaus. Its like a pinballmachine puller thingy. lol
ReplyDeletegot it,thanks again clio
ReplyDeleteno worries.
ReplyDeleteDoes not work with buttons coffee. ((
ReplyDeleteOhmy, fun! Thanks, Tesshi-e, for another wonderful game!
ReplyDeleteAfter you get the directions set, don't forget to push the brass button to open the compass for your key. Shall we all meet at that bar? :)
Bhecbr312, click corner buttond 1,5 3,6
ReplyDelete.2 4
Bring wooden box to the key on the bench to open it...should have known this.
ReplyDeleteYes, for dewee code, use last letter of the color, not first letter. That was the hint I needed. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteAnyone? I'm trying by myself, but would be nice to share my discoveries and doubts with ohters :D
ReplyDeleteUuau... took me a while to see the key was screwed to bench...
ReplyDeleteOut, with happy coin...
ReplyDelete(use green number code for second time)
Sounds dangerous to make an electric connection using water, no?
that was GREAT...however I would not dare call that "easy", since I was sweating a lot on some tricky puzzles on this one...(but it may be the heat, too...)
ReplyDelete@Jon D
With a 230V~ mains device, YES!! But for safety's sake, let's assume this is a 12V= DC device :)
how do you set news boxes
ReplyDeleteway easier than some of you guys (over-)thought...
just look what is north, west, east and south on the compass thing in the corner. it's indicated clearly, e. g. you're facing some wall from an angle, and the N arrow points sideways to the left, so the wall you're facing must be the east wall, etc.
Can't believe people call this game stupid or rate it one star justa because they can't solve the puzzles.
ReplyDeleteGraphics, logic, navigation, everything about this (and previous) game is top notch.
For me, tricky part was to unscrew the key chain (didn't see the message), and well... the electric maneuver... I did it by myself, but it was a wild guess :D
I needed a lot of help and read the comments but I'm stuck anyway : I have the can with the chain full of water but I can't pour any water on the paper. I have also a stick, a magnet, a screwdriver, Mr Birdy, a can opener, a flashlight... I don't see any tape.
ReplyDeleteWhere exactly is the tape?
ReplyDeleteIt's inside the "Mr. Birdy box".
ReplyDeleteHowever, for the box to open, you will not only need the right combination, but also have to place the missing Mr. Birdy figurine first.
pdgph You don't pour water on the paper, you dip the paper in the can.

ReplyDeleteYou can follow Tesshi-e on Twitter--I do. I use Google Translate to express appreciation for his games (or her--but I always assumed it was a guy) and he answers back.
ReplyDelete@tishtosh,
ReplyDeleteThank you !
Okay, I understand from a quick look at the hints, that there are people who actually got further than the paper with 'water' on it ... lol ... some even got out ...
ReplyDeleteWell, after some interruptions and lots of hints, out.
ReplyDelete3 stars, lost a few stars from me for a few quirks in the game.
ReplyDeleteCombining item's and how to use items could be better.
@EllenIsBlessed
ReplyDeleteMost likely a guy. Players mostly assumed Tesshi-e is a girl because there was always a "he" who was waiting for the protagonist at the end of the game.
However, more and more I was thinking about a possible translation error by idahhh: considering that the gender may sometimes be impossible to judge from Japanese. It has happened frequently enough that both Google Translate and Excite.JP translated everything correctly BUT the gender of the subject.
Fabulous! Tesshi did it once again!
ReplyDeleteFive stars, no doubt!
it's Always a pleasure playing a Tesshi-e !
ReplyDeleteloved it but needed your help. Thanks for getting me through to all who posted hints.
ReplyDeleteWow, finally finished a Tesshi on my own.
ReplyDeleteTook a looong time but finally finished. Pretty logical and easy to follow. Some parts were challenging though.
I was stuck longest on how to energize that one device which was missing a wire. I knew solving that would help me reach the spade tool. Just could not figure out what to do, the magnet was too small to connect each side. I was so tempted to look here for the answer. Finally just randomly clicked on each item I had and on the device, until voila, filling it with water did the trick.

ReplyDeleteLook at small table with compass. Each wall in the room corresponds to a compass direction:
blue table = N
pink bench = W
door = S
drawers = E
Open flower painting, get paper with water written.
Click on painting of sea, rocks and hill. See 4 buttons. press in any order (but remember it!!) to spell Coffee. Any 6 buttons spell Coffee. Go to painting of Coffee grinder and click buttons on right in the same order you wrote Coffee. Click painting.
Painting lifts and take key and click W on the 4 buttons
Chest of drawers: Top drawer use key and get can with clues.
Look at pink bench for card suits clue. Use this and the can clues to open painting of river. Click painting and get torch and turn it on. Press E button
Use torch in vase, see clue for bottom drawer. Open and get lever. Put lever in slot next to Happy Holidays painting. Click and hold lever to see numbers. Can't get SD yet.
Use number on Mr Birdy painting and get box. Take box to pink bench and use key to open, get can opener. Use on can in inventory and get magnet. Put magnet in rings in slot which holds lever so get screwdriver.
Use SD on pink bench and get key and chain. Use SD on sunset painting, get drill and click N on letter box. Use drill on can to make hole, combine with key/chain. Use on vase to get diamond key. Open locker under flower painting and see trowel that you can't reach.
Put paper into cup of water see clue.
Look at top box on drawers, see wire missing. Fill with water to create circuit, click button and get Mr Birdy. Place on blue box. Use clue from paper to open. Get sticky tape.
Get magnet back and tape to stick, use to get trowel. Use trowel in pot plant soil to get club key. Open woods painting with key and click S on box.
Go to compass table, press lever to open and get heart key. See partial number clue. Combine this clue with the original digital numbers under the Happy Holidays painting to create a new number to put into Mr Birdy painting for Happy Coin.
Open door and out
River painting:
From pink bench: HDCDS
From can: H= Top left, C=top right, D=bott right, S=bott left
=> TL,BR,TR,BR,BL
Bottom drawer: L,C,R,C,R
Happy Holiday #: 5413
Mr Birdy: clue is last letter of each colour
=> RBYBB
Happy Coin #: 6938
Gee - thanks for all the clues. Couldn't have done this by myself!
