ReplyDeleteThe clue for the shape/line puzzle on the first book/roof of the house shows five symbols, but we only need four. I think that might be where we get the second green piece for the fancy (2nd) book. Stuck now.
ReplyDeleteOK, resorted to the walkthrough, and it makes no sense but I'll try to explain that puzzle. Look at the 5 symbol clue. Imagine numbering the symbols 1 at the top, and then going clockwise. The symbols to use on the 4-space puzzle outside are numbers 1,3,5 and2. Who knows why.

ReplyDeleteWhen you placed the star thing outside, it revealed some black blobs. That was the clue for which symbols to use and which order. For example, the top petal was missing on the first blob, so that was the first symbol to be entered, then the 3rd petal missing from the 2nd blob etc.
