    ReplyDelete
  11. I am ok so far but really no clue what I am doing. I have found hints that I can't use and collected more stuff. Use spray bottle on plant left of shelves in new rooms. use "Q" tip? on planter to collect water drop.

    ReplyDelete
  12. There is a colour hint on the floor at base of umbrella table.
I have placed one light bulb right of door. need 2 more.

    ReplyDelete
  14. You get the white bulb from the box atop the cabinet outside. That's all I got.

    ReplyDelete
  15. What word opens that box??
The red bulb is in the start scene, it is part of one of the items on the shelf there.

    ReplyDelete
  16. You have to check every item on the shelves and look between them too.

    ReplyDelete
  17. @Jenny Hint for box is directly above it on the wall. Country name.

    ReplyDelete
  18. you can use magnifier on little man in 'tree shelf' for hint...
    I am so stuck.

    ReplyDelete
  19. One more symbol is on chest of sitting statue. need 3 more.
I have found 2 sets of symbols and a spot to put some on the umbrella table front but no idea what goes where.

    anyone see an arrow hint?

    ReplyDelete
  20. 7 letter hint on right lounger

    ReplyDelete
  21. That seems to relate to the coloured letters on the wall Hotz.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Somewhat tricky little brush in the middle of the top of the tree-shaped shelves inside.

    ReplyDelete
  23. word on lounge chair is color clue I think - look at LOVE etc. indoors, then look at tree, all those colored objects are there

    why, I don't know :/

    ReplyDelete
  24. The lounger clue is a 4 letter clue after you use *toothbrush* on it

    ReplyDelete
  25. some of those coloured letters are on the drawer below too

    ReplyDelete
  26. What is the 4 letter clue for??

    ReplyDelete
  27. What to do with the Cocktail? (Just had hubby make me one :) .....

    ReplyDelete
  28. The 4 letter clue relates to colours when you match them up with the coloured letters on the wall inside.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Sueln, but where is a 4 colour code???

    ReplyDelete
  30. LOL No idea! Was waiting for you to tell me :)

    ReplyDelete
  31. Seriously difficult game here.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Chris.... No idea what to do with the cocktail, or the dampened Q tip ................ really struggling here ....................

    ReplyDelete
  33. You can remove a large leaf from right side of vine wall and there appears to be another dew drop there too.

    ReplyDelete
  34. has anyone done something with filled pipette? there are 2 water drops: under big ivy leaf and on white flower (left of china). I used pipette on the first drop and stuck...
and what to do with cherries under umbrella? I can't remember, I have found something...

    ReplyDelete
  35. There are two of those droplets - one in planter and one in the vine on the fence. But you can only pick up one at a time, I think. This is not as helpful as it sounds cos I have no idea where to use it either.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I just moved cherries in bowl but nothing happened there.

    ReplyDelete
  37. There is also an up view under the umbrella.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Well, I have to leave, If anyone gets anywhere, please write it all here. I will try and replay later.
    Have fun everyone!

    ReplyDelete
  39. The tree in the painting matches the shape of the shelves-tree and the symbols relatively match the positions of the things on the shelves, which have colours... Erm... that sounds like a great theory but I have no idea what to do with it.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Ooooh yes I do. It opens the drawer under the rose vase!

    ReplyDelete
  41. there is a sneaky drawer under table between the loungers

    ReplyDelete
  42. Chris.... No idea what to do with the cocktail, or the dampened Q tip ................ really struggling here ....................

    ReplyDelete
  43. thanks Cham!! half your hint and half brute forcing opened the 4 letter drawer :)

    ReplyDelete
  44. Whew! Got the letter drawer open. Symbols in planter correspond to symbols on tree, which is like the other tree - look at the colors of the objects in those positions, then at the LOVE sign, oh what the heck, here's a spoiler:

    sEpOoiQleVr

    ReplyDelete
  45. and then you can embarass the little statue so much he turns around and has a symbol on his back!

    ReplyDelete
  46. Use the same system on the drawer in the table.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Oh Mr. Eleon beat me to it! Nice goin'!

    ReplyDelete
  48. Ms Eleon says thanks :)... and I just got a third droplet from the cherries...

    ReplyDelete
  49. I think the symbols on statues will go large to small; the other guys have symbols on their backs we can't see (yet)

    ReplyDelete
  50. Cham, could you explain a bit more for symbol drawer please? I can't get it.

    ReplyDelete
  51. The drawer in the table? Start with the 4 lounger letters, find their colour from the wall above the roses, match the colour to an item on the tree-shelves, match that position to the painting tree. I can partly spoil it if you like.

    ReplyDelete
  52. I'm not getting it either - seems there's no symbol that goes with the white object

    ReplyDelete
  53. finally, the symbol drawer is open after 20 tries...
I counted the branches to find the symbols. the white symbol is on the fourth branch from bottom on left side...

    ReplyDelete
  54. I found the keys. And shut the tab before I escaped and took down all the codes :o
Give me a few minutes to run through again.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Third drop of water comes from cherry bowl put each drop one by one in the measuring glass

    ReplyDelete
  56. Oh, the mushroom is green. Got it. All 3 bulbs now.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Once you get the panel open on the wall and the 3 hearts appear, press the middle heart ...............

    ReplyDelete
  58. if you have opened the 3 colored heart cupboard, click again on the door....

    ReplyDelete
  59. Lol. Yes, that was it! The mushroom.

    ReplyDelete
  60. And a beaker, and a 4th color dish!

Now look up at the umbrella.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Someone said a droplet was on a leaf...where is that? I have 2 out of 3.

    ReplyDelete
  62. just1, zoom on right side of ivy hedge, there is a big leaf on the left...

    ReplyDelete
  63. Right half of fence when you come out the door. Zoom in, there's a big leaf. Move that.

    ReplyDelete
  64. I used the switch from hearts panel and have seen 4 arrows, but the arrow clue doesn't work...
and I can't see anything at the umbrella.
    this game is soo frustrating

    ReplyDelete
  65. Thanks Hotz!

Colors on umbrella now look like chairs, and chairs look like directions clue, but it's not opening for me.

    ReplyDelete
  66. what colors on umbrella? all I can see are blue and white stripes...

    ReplyDelete
  67. Hotz - lookup at the umbrella for the color order. What do we do with the ice cube?

    ReplyDelete
  68. There's a yellow disc behind the hearts. Put it on the floor under the umbrella.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Did you put the yellow light under the red green and blue one?

    ReplyDelete
  70. duhhh, I forgot the fourth, yellow spot down in my inventory!!!!
    thanks just1

    ReplyDelete
  71. Ice cube goes in drink, of course :D

    ReplyDelete
  72. and thanks to miles and Cham!!

    ReplyDelete
  73. Hotz, you need to get the 4th color dish from behind the lightbulbs, and place it next to the others - then umbrella lights up

    ReplyDelete
  74. Aahh - thank you! It was hidden in my inventory. I completely forgot about that drink

    ReplyDelete
  75. Thanks right back. That was teamwork!

    ReplyDelete
  76. Look at the footprints for the order of symbols. My head hurts!

    ReplyDelete
  77. Damn! Finally got the switch part sorted out, entered the directions and my game froze! Window still closed, no interaction, no navigation arrows.

    ReplyDelete
  78. I know this hurt after 2 hours on this game....
    thanks again guys, great teamwork!!

    ReplyDelete
  79. Oh no! You're almost there! :o

    ReplyDelete
  80. No autosave - had to restart. Crap, I was so close.

Thanks for all the great helps! This has been fun!

    ReplyDelete
  81. It was fun, even though my brain broke a little :D

    ReplyDelete
  82. lol, if your brain hurts, then it's still working!

I'm pretty sure it was my computer's fault that the game crashed - gonna give it a rest and restart everything. Might write a WT later, unless someone else wants to.

    ReplyDelete
  83. just got here and got as far as the table by the umbrella..... with everyone's help... thanks.... but what colors are you using for those symbols.... the colors i got are black white green red..... is that right?

    ReplyDelete
  84. never mind i had the red symbol wrong! thanks anyway!

    ReplyDelete
  85. what to do with the drink?

    ReplyDelete
  86. that one was hard! thanks to all who posted hints and helps! I couldn't have done it without you!

    ReplyDelete
  87. do not come out to the love, no matter what code I take, door will not open
hab brush, bottle, red pear and a shield and ne glasses

    ReplyDelete
  88. I didn''t see any mention of the ice cream cone here. It comes from the freezer cabinet on the wall between lounge chairs, and goes to the big stone guy at the table. The two smaller guys go to eat the ice cream and show the last two symbols (hourglass and aquarius). Now I can't find the footprints to get the right order,
@just1, that WT is much needed!

    ReplyDelete
  89. POP! Give the seated stone guy the drink, and he'll walk around, leaving footprints on the deck. Got the keys now.
I didn't have any idea what I was getting into when I opened this game, but I'm glad I did!

    ReplyDelete
  90. just came back, thanks for all hints left but I cannot understand how to open table between loungers.
If anyone is still around could you spoil it please??

    ReplyDelete
  91. FANTASTIC game! Just what I needed after all this cookie-cutter crap made ultra-trivial because of solidarism with the dimmest candles on he cake (so that even them can solve it) Nothing against that, but please don't let it be the entirety of escape games. Otherwise I can predict a 'dim' future ;)

    ReplyDelete
  92. It is a great game arby but I still need help. Can you tell me the symbols to open the table between the loungers??

    ReplyDelete
  93. lol, if your brain hurts, then it's still working!
    Whoa Nelly!
Best phrase I've heard in months on here. Gotta remember it...
BTW with all that crap now on TV, nobody should take it gor granted that it still works.
Remember: A dumb nation is easier to reign over.

    ReplyDelete
  94. @Jenny no more sorry, got the window closed now. I will gladly help anyone, *IF* I can load my saved game, but whenever it lacks the saving option I can't. because that'd mean starting over.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Thanks anyway arby, I used the walkthrough and got out.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Sorry for the delay. Been pretty sick this morning. Working on WT now, it'll come in 3 parts, I think. Hang in there!

    ReplyDelete
  97. Walkthrough, Part 1:

1st, look at everything closely. Nearly everything you see in this game will be used to solve some puzzle, and the cleverness and intricacy of these puzzles is on par with the very best of the escape game genre.

So to begin with, there's an artificial tree/shelving unit in front of you. At its very top is a TOOTHBRUSH you can take. It also has: blue bells, pink flowers, a tiny white statue of a man, a black figurine, a green mushroom (yes, it's green, just trust me) and a red frame thing; the frame has a RED LIGHT BULB which you can take. Also there's an onion, a compact purse and a perfume bottle.

Look left; you may notice right away (but it took me a while) that the painted tree is similar to the shelving tree, esp. in number and direction of branches. Look at the pink chair; there's a SPRAY BOTTLE next to it. Also, the lamp cord has a switching device, missing its switch.

Keep going left; see 3 more white statue fellas. One has a curious design on his chest. Look close; the other 2 have designs on their backs, which we can't see yet. Above them, multicolored dandelion seeds. This is the 1st thing we'll be using.
In the rose vase someone left a pair of fancy UV SUNGLASSES - we'll be needing those. Beneath the roses is a drawer opened by 4 letters, and above, an op-art sculpture that will be useful several times.

One more left turn. We need to get out that door. 1st notice the hearts on the left side - orange-white-red. Look closely at the center of it; to the left of the dandelion, 4 pink sticks, 2 green, 5 blue, 3 red. These are not the numbers to enter on the right!

Instead, return to the dandelion seeds on the wall. Find all the pink ones that have 4 branches, all the green with 2, etc., and count them. Those are your numbers. (I'll put spoilers at the very end.) Open the door and let some fresh air in here!

Look to the right, and see the map of China. The box directly beneath it needs 5 letters; looking through them, it becomes obvious that the country is the answer. This is the easiest puzzle in the whole game. Get the WHITE LIGHT BULB.

In the middle of those shelves is one locked by symbols, which we'll solve near the end. To the left of them is another white man-statue. Above, are those petunias? Not sure, but one has an important drop of water on it. The succulent plant has a stone next to it. One of the tea tins above it has a MAGNIFIER.

Turn left and click to the right on the ivy, find a large leaf with another water droplet behind it.
Click left on the ivy, find a nice little SIGN. You could carry this around with you, and get good vibes from it, but maybe it's better to give it to the statue guy next to the shelves, who might have self-esteem issues about his paunch and his prominent nose. My goodness! You've made him blush!

Turn around and look at the lounge chairs. The one on the right has letters on it, but too many; rub some of them out with your TOOTHBRUSH.
Eat a cherry or two, and take the DRINK with you. Look down; there are three colored lights handsomely disguised as stones. You can also look up at the umbrella, and forward to see a cabinet that needs a directions clue to open it.

Turn left, but before you go in, install your LIGHT BULBS in 2 of the sconces to the right of the door. Remember the hearts' colors, and put the WHITE in the center, RED on the bottom.

    Part 2 coming soon.

    ReplyDelete
  98. WT Part 2:

I forgot to mention; under the cherries there is a drawer, also locked by symbols. We'll be getting into that soon. Another thing I forgot; in the shelves outside, get the DROPPER from the mouth of the red teapot. But first, the letters drawer under the roses.

Go to the stone next to the plant outdoors and use the SPRAY BOTTLE on it. 4 symbols appear; write them down.

Now, go inside and straight to the tree painting and put on your SUNGLASSES. 8 symbols appear; note the positions on the tree of the 4 you just saw outside (count branches). The carat-like thing is at the very top; the lazy-S with slash on the 2nd branch left, the 'et' on the 2nd branch far right, ampersand 1st branch right.

Turn right, find what objects are in those positions on the tree-shelves and note their colors. Blue bell; green onion; pink flowers; black figurine. Now go look at the colored letters on the wall. Blue-green-pink-black gives you the letters to open the drawer. Get a 2ND SIGN.

It's a little mean, but it's the truth after all - go give this SIGN to the same guy outside. He will reveal the symbol on his back.

Now to open the drawer under the cherries, we do more or less the same thing in reverse. This time, start with the letters on the lounge chair. Go to the sculpture and find their colors; black-white-green-red. This is trickier now. Btw I was wrong about the mushroom; it's white after all. Green is the onion, but you won't find the symbols in exact positions; you have to count branches. Get the ORANGE LIGHT BULB.

Install the BULB, go back inside and turn around. Click on the hearts and a cabinet opens. Get BEAKER and YELLOW LIGHT. While you're here, click on the door again and collect the SWITCH from where the white heart was.

Now, take your DROPPER and collect 3 water drops, one at a time, and put them in the beaker. Petunias; ivy leaf; bowl of cherries (after you click 3x). Look down, and put your YELLOW LIGHT with the others. Look up; there is now a color code on the umbrella. Go in to the lamp, install your SWITCH in the cord, and get directions clues from the different settings. Use color order of the chairs (from umbrella), and open the cabinet behind the cherries.
Fill the ice tray from your BEAKER, grab some ICECREAM, and get ready for part 3!

    ReplyDelete
  99. WT Part 3:

Grab an ICE CUBE, and put it in your DRINK. Offer the ICECREAM to the big guy with the loops on his chest; his friends eat it, revealing the symbols on their backs. We need one more symbol. Remember the tiny guy on the tree shelves? Use your MAGNIFIER on him. Now we have, large to small: loop-de-loops, Cancer sign, hourglass, Aquarius sign, and I don't know what the dinky thing is, kinda looks like a filing cabinet.
But what's the order? Give the big guy the DRINK, now that it's iced, he likes that. So much that he gets up and dances around a bit. Outside, he leaves a series of different-sized footprints to study. Basically, 5-2-1-4-3. Let's enter those symbols in the shelf outdoors, and see what we get.

Methinks it is the exit key, and this part turned out to be shorter than I thought. Congratulations! There doesn't seem to be an alternate ending. This one's good enough!

    SPOILERS:

    Dandelion door: 5363
    Letter drawers: CHINA, then EOQV
    drawer under cherries: ampersand-Sagittarius-lazy S-bell
    directions: LDRU
symbols: loops, Aquarius, filing cabinet, Cancer, hourglass.

  100. Thanks, Just1. Your walk-through was very helpful with the little spots where I was stuck. Well-written and I like that you start with hints--it makes the game so much more fun.

    ReplyDelete
  101. just1, that was OUTSTANDING! Let alone that you said you felt sick the same morning. I wonder if I could have pulled this off so shortly after being sick...chapeau!

    ReplyDelete
  102. @just1, TY TY TY for that excellent WT! You took what seemed to me a very complex game and made it logical and straightforward.
Another EG24 person (my sister) and I were saying last night that no one writes WTs anymore. Thanks for proving us wrong!

    ReplyDelete
  103. Thanks for the appreciation, gail, arby, and especially zoz, who inspired me to attempt writing walkthroughs in the first place, several years ago. It's good fun, it helps people, and somewhat relieves the press of days.
@arby, you should write more yourself, you have an excellent command of the language.

    ReplyDelete
  104. Just 1 you got me through this one. Now to see about an alternate ending.

    ReplyDelete
  105. Haven't found it but there is something written inside the orange tin on the shelf outside.
