where is valve for truck?

Note the valve is stuck.
Back of the truck.
Take axe, bottle and usb.
Note a dirty spot on the truck.
Front of the truck.
Take crowbar, hose out of the truck.
Note a valve is missing on the board.
Backside building.
Take hose, boots, working sheet, ladder.
Note a key is needed on the locker.
Combine bottle with first hose.
Use it on the fire.
Use axe on the door, walk through, scream OUCH, put on the boots ... that's better.
Inside the office.
Take bucket, key (on the desk).
Use crowbar on the right locker-door, take the fitting.
A code is needed on the other door.
Put USB in the computer, note the x on the screen. Look at the sheet to see the correct order, click on the names on the screen to put the list in the computer (it's 2016 after all, after that send an app).
The locker above the desk opened.
Take fitting and sticky note.
That note, hmm. Draw a line from number to letter, better do it on paper to get four numbers. spoiler below.
Open the locker, get a valve.
Leave the office.
Use key on the locker next to the door, take wrench. Place it on the valve, try turning it, but you need more strength. Click the fist and now it works. Fill the bucket with water.
Throw the water on the dirty spot.
Combine hose with the two fittings.
Put it on the now clean spot.
Place the valve we found on the side of the truck.
Do the calculation, for example, red needs to be 13, that's 5 + 8.
Something happens .....
Put ladder at the side of the truck, climb up.
oh ... and escape ...

Yes, the numbers look a bit like runes, not their strongest puzzle. But "just" draw lines on paper, that might help.

ReplyDeleteDraw a line from point 1 to the letter B, to point 4, to point 5.
That looks a little bit like a 2.
Yeah, I'm a genius! I went to all the trouble of making the truck able to shoot the window out - instead of simply breaking the window open with the axe I had much earlier :D :D :D

ReplyDeleteThanks for the explanation Arrie. I had no idea what the logic behind that puzzle was. Only gave it 3 stars because of that puzzle; it was way out of step with the rest of the game.
