ReplyDeleteMissing 1 wood carving. Have placed 44 objects - these games usually have 45 objects to be placed. Also have scissors, hammer, ink, knife, face frame, water bucket, crystal ball and cherries but looks like they aren't going to be used. Using magnifier at 300% to locate objects.

ReplyDeleteOne of the round things goes next to the left arrow in scene 5, over the misty area. The other one goes next to the right arrow about an inck, up a little bit.

ReplyDeleteNo, looks like all the objects like the knife, scissors, etc., are not used in this game. It would be more fun if we did use them like in some of the other games.

The scissors were floating in the water in scene 1, lower left. The owl statues were really hard to find, very tiny.

This game is identical to others in Cool8's "Ancient" series, right down to the placement of the objects AND the missing last wood carving! You'd think if they were just going to cut and paste their games, they'd at least fix the bugs!!

ReplyDeleteThe only wood carvings I have found are in the first and last scenes (one in the first, two in the last). Either the fourth is missing or can only be revealed by using the seemingly random non-placeable items. If there are any hot spots, the cursor certainly does not change, making it excruciatingly time consuming to brute force the solution.

Thanks Sisli! I did scour the inventory for the last item but not thoroughly enough. Also, now I can't escape either although I have found everything. None of the remaining objects like scissors will interact with the placed objects.
ReplyDeleteA classic 'The Games 8' bullshit game... you play 'pixel hunt' derby guessing where to place the man objects, then 'strain your eyeballs with the 400% magnifier" hunting down all the objects, all for what??? For one of the objects to be hidden in a place where nobody would ever look (except a few masochists like me and apparently Juliette), then provide no way to win the game once all the objects were placed!!!!!!!!! If there was a way to rate with negative stars, I would....
