Good morning, wishing you all a happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteNo one here? I always need help, and a HARD escape...
Big map but cartoon style. Better for finding items.
ReplyDeleteafternoon all LOL
ReplyDeleteJust in the start scene there are more items than in other complete games. Opened the window for a key, clue are the pencils.
ReplyDeleteHi Leroy!
ReplyDeleteKey opens drawer for a magnifier. This is used in one of the books you found. Drag it to see a hint.
ReplyDeleteHi all, place flowers and break vase
ReplyDeleteFlowers go on the table, click them to get a key.
ReplyDeleteHi beeve!
ReplyDeletestuck with lots of stuff and closed door, and many more rooms to come ...
ReplyDeleteThe hint in the books is a kind of colour clue and the colours mentioned are the same as in the 5x5 grid. No idea to solve it yet.
ReplyDeleteI tried to open door with on/off switch, lol.
ReplyDeletewhat window? upper right?
ReplyDeleteI have used every item on every place like door, TV, picture, etc.
ReplyDeletemeritneith, for the 5x5 grid just change the color squares according to the clue in the book, make 3 squares green, etc. I didn't follow any order.
ReplyDeletenvm didnt pik up vase LOL
ReplyDeleteHint: when you get the clay pot, use the hammer on it. Then drop all the colored balls into it. The balls all become purple. That is a hint for a grid in one of the rooms.
ReplyDeleteHi Maximom, tried that but there's no blue in the hint.
ReplyDeleteOh! I just turned the bottom row to blue then, and it worked! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThis gives cutter for paper.
ReplyDeletecut triangles, gives remote.
ReplyDeleteNext room, gazillions of stuff. This could be the game with the biggest inventory of all times!
ReplyDeleteDang! I wanted to drag an item and clicked a bookmark, have to start over.
ReplyDeleteTurned off bookmarks, don't want to see that happen again.
ReplyDeleteBack in that second room again.
ReplyDeleteBlue buttons with yellow outer lines go to the puzzle at the right. Simple thing.
ReplyDelete3 yellow buttons with brown outer lines open the door. I just put them in and pressed them.
ReplyDeleteThe WNES puzzle is a hard thing. Tried different orders, from 1 to 4 and vv, alphabetically and vv, nothing till now.
ReplyDeletemeritneith, WNES is an anagram. Spell out the word then place the correct number below. (Hint-1st letter is N)
ReplyDeleteThanks! This saves me a lot of bruteforcing time.
ReplyDeleteHint: In the room farthest to the left (has an Eiffel tower on the shelf), there is a hot spot directly under the fan in the upper right corner. (Use the mop for a clue.)

ReplyDeleteStrange looking hacksaw. Cut the drawer open. Candle ;-) goes to the holder, use lightswitch to the left of window for symbol code. Got the pot Maximom mentioned earlier but no hammer yet.
ReplyDeletehi (again) all ☺
ReplyDeletehuh, still live?
let's see how long the VWT is...
OMG - the longest VWT ever - over 30 minutes!!!
Ah, hammer in next room (middle door)
ReplyDeleteGems go to a kind of spinning puzzle, missing some until now.
ReplyDeleteHi Alpha, put on your big boy pants, this one could be harder than it looks like!
ReplyDeleteSame room: silver buttons go to drawer.
ReplyDeleteSame room: letter buttons go to drawer (missing one).
ReplyDeletenice tune, I like it, helps to stay calm when frustrated LOL
ReplyDeleteAnd I used Maximom's first comment now. Thanks, that would have given me a hard time.
ReplyDeleteLetter buttons complete, use hint from same room to open it. Another key.
ReplyDeleteI put the sticks in holes, now what ?
ReplyDeleteBeeve, just done that and got matches. Will lighten candles now.
ReplyDeleteThree lightened candles give another key (they are in the three rooms behind the scene with three doors).
ReplyDeleteThanks m, done that, stuck again.
ReplyDeleteUsing that key gets you in the room on the map top left. You can place the books in the shelf and the grey shapes on the drawer. All for more gems.
ReplyDeleteHint: Eventually you will find a remote. Use it in the same room where you used the mop (room with Eiffel tower) on that blue box next to the radiator for a key.
ReplyDeleteOne general hint: Check your inventory carefully from time to time. There might be some items left which you could miss. I'd be glad I could use my purple puzzle pieces somewhere, I can hardly see them.
ReplyDeleteAh, this is a helpful room (to get rid of stuff)! Simpsons pieces are used there too.
ReplyDeleteStill in that room: Put a red ball into the wheel. Need more hints for that though.
ReplyDeletecould almost catch up, but stumped at beeve's comment «green key goes to mirror in first room for a line» - which mirror?
ReplyDeletedare I also ask where the mop is...?
& don't ask me what I have in inv. ;-P
Purple puzzle pieces go in room that has 5 # puzzle and door that opens with a key card. Place next to radiator.
ReplyDeleteThanks Maximom for the mop hint. It's the left of the three rooms, there's an Eiffel tower in the middle room too. ;-)
ReplyDeleteAlpha, don't have that green thing too by now. Broom was in plain sight, maybe in one of those three rooms. Maybe you've got it already, in inventory it looks more like a match. Check your inventory (and go down, down, down)!
ReplyDeletehve 5 hotspots in most left room, but dunno what to do there...
ReplyDeleteUse the UV light on the smudge next to the door in the room that also has the card key reader. The hint is used with the calendar in the very first room.
ReplyDeletenope, dont have mop & loads of stuff mentioned after that comment...
ReplyDeleteI haven't found a room like that you mentioned, that might be to come yet.
ReplyDeleteHm. To which rooms have you been already, Alpha? I have entered all on the left part of map except for the right one in top row.
ReplyDeleteah, progress - missed the light switch hint duh
ReplyDeleteIn the topmost room on the right, the entire wall is a hotspot. Use the binoculars.
ReplyDeleteMaximom, we're not that far! Just opened the drawer with the time clue from first scene. Strange clocks they have! Try not to overthink that wrong clockface.
ReplyDeleteI'm at Bart puzzle (does he not have a © ?)...
ReplyDeleteYou get a flashlight from that. You can do it like me, run around every room to find place to use it. Or you stay in the same scene, go to the open part of the cupboard and use the light there for an arrow hint. I swear I can use that on the wheel thing with the red button.
ReplyDeleteHint: In the room right before the Exit room there is a grid. Use the UV light on the smudge next to the door and it lights up a numbered grid. This grid is used with the grid picked up in another room with the red squares. Only the numbers in the red squares are needed. All the other numbers should be zero. This was the most frustrating puzzle yet!
ReplyDeleteAlpha, sure he has!
ReplyDeleteI was right and got another golden key for the missing room on the left part of the map.
ReplyDeleteat least puzzles don't reset when going to look at hint
ReplyDeleteIn the new room I have used my three coloured keys for some more gems.
ReplyDeleteMore progress. Now I've got all white puzzle pieces for a paper. Use the liquid on that for a letter clue.
ReplyDeleteAfter you do the symbols puzzle using the hint you got from painting the white picture, use colored pencils in the very first room on the picture/screen where you may have already used a green pencil that was in the first room. This will give you a hint for the Exit room.
ReplyDeleteI fear the moment when we have to do that puzzle with the gems. :-/
ReplyDeletemerit
ReplyDeleteI think you're only a step ahead of me...
which new room & where's the key?
ALso, for the final 3 color puzzle, I bf'd it as the order on the screen did not work.
ReplyDeleteYou're still far ahead of us! I've been now in every room on the left part of the map. Have some items left (incl. a key), will go round and see if I can use some.
ReplyDeleteOpen the map. On the left part of it there are two rooms in the top row. I opened the right one. To get the key, look at my comments about the flashlight things
ReplyDeletePOP
ReplyDeletefinally found the right CB part for flash
key from arrow wheel
I was able to complete the game without any glitches. For the final puzzle, you might want to make a screen print before you place the last piece because it shuffles the pieces around after.
ReplyDeletecaught up to you merit ☺
ReplyDeleteGood! I'm still looking for a place to use a key (golden but a little bit bigger than all those opening the doors) and a knife.
ReplyDeleteI'm not looking forward to solving that spinner puzzle...! :-/
ReplyDeleteHad missed a 4 symbol panel in the left room in top row. Can't remember where I got the clue from. Gives two more gems.
ReplyDeleteNeither do I. Missing five gems.
ReplyDeletebut I think we have to solve it now to proceed...
ReplyDeleteAccording to my screenshot the symbol hint has a blue background, so that might have come from using the mop.
ReplyDeleteStuck now. :-(
ReplyDeleteoh, that spinning puzzle wasn't so hard, at least for me - you have to light up the lines - gives next door key
ReplyDeleteOh, I hadn't used the arrow! Put it into the panel in the left of the three rooms, gives an arrow hint.
ReplyDeleteI AM MISSING ONE LAST GEM!!!
ReplyDeletesorry for you merit
ReplyDeletebut don't remember where all those colour buttons for spinner came from...
in bottom right room, I finally could place the 5 smileys for yet another door key
POP, that was the one underneath the rug in first scene, hadn't picked it up when I had to restart. Phew!
ReplyDeleteNow give me an hour to solve the spinner.
ReplyDeletemerit
ReplyDeletewhen I could make it in some minutes, you can, too ☺
(positive affirmation ☻)
this is mostly a PSUTPIAAP game (pick up stuff to place it at another place)...!
ReplyDeleteLucky punch!!!
ReplyDeleteuse waterbottle at towel for 6#code, gives
ReplyDeleteremote Maxi posted about it
Ctrl+F keyword remote comes now in handy
I remembered to use it near a radiator, LOL. Finally got rid of my purple puzzle!
ReplyDeleteAnd the question what to do with calendar in 1st scene is answered.
ReplyDeleteThings go on. Coloured pieces puzzle solved for colour clue.
ReplyDeleteAnother spinning thing...
ReplyDeletewhere? :-o
ReplyDeletedo you mean the one with the numbers?
Yes, wasn't hard. Done.
ReplyDeletein that room with the number spinning puzzle, use knife on brown wall panel for safe, you have already the key for
ReplyDelete& a pelmanism puzzle, sth I like
missing 2 numbers... (5 & 3)
ReplyDeleteHave opened door with keycard.
ReplyDeleteNow we're at the same point like when I missed a gem.
ReplyDeleteHave you done the calendar puzzle?
ReplyDeletePOP 5 I had it already & 3 from pelmanism puzzle
ReplyDelete(hard to keep track of all the stuff LOL)
Spinning puzzle is not hard. You can put numbers into the slots at the sides.
ReplyDeleteleft side was harder than the right for me
ReplyDeleteJust to say, opened rooms on map now like:
ReplyDeleteright half, left part
Only five rooms to go.
Yes, right side were only two numbers or so to be changed.
ReplyDeleteNeed to make a break of about 10 minutes, see you then!
ReplyDeletehasta luego, merit ☺
ReplyDeletecoin (3) box from 6# vertical code gives binocs
Maximom mentioned where to use
binocs give sliders hint
ReplyDelete5 sticks give hint for bar sliders
Back again.
ReplyDelete& the other wall smudge Maxi mentioned
ReplyDeletebut it d/w on grid - let's see if Maxi posted sth about it...
What 6#? I have opened a panel with 8#.
ReplyDeleteThe box. Sorry!
ReplyDeleteoh, no, have to put almost all on 0 again, besides the red ones at other grid - duh
ReplyDeleteuse brush with paint in top left room for symbol hint (now, where was the puzzle again LOL)
ReplyDeleteNow I know what you mean with the grid...
ReplyDeleteI think everyone will run into that trap.
ReplyDelete3 pencils for start
ReplyDeletedon't forget to zoom on 3 letter pic in another room
Got the puzzle with 4 symbols.
ReplyDeleteNo, this one comes from the pencil using. The 3 letter pic hint was used much earlier: for the three coloured keys we put into a picture.
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm out after that circle puzzle!
ReplyDeleteoh, already out - it would have been last longer - NOT!
ReplyDeletethx 8G for the mostly enjoyable game & ppl above for the hints ☺
spent more than 1.25 hours on it...!
merit - you out too? soon, soon...
This took me 3,5 hours, LOL! Could have done a whole lot of homework but that wouldn't have been so fun.
ReplyDeleteah, gongtats to your perseverance ☺
ReplyDeleteit was a marathon, but not really hard as the title implicated...
As I told these days: 8G get better every day. Thanks for a great great game.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your company again, Alpha, and special thanks to Maximom for giving helpful hints.
But to be honest: This is a game for weekend, not for playing it while having to work.
ReplyDeleteI was lucky then to have already all the hints to pretty quickly catch up
ReplyDeletenow I'm really hungry...!
CU in another game merit & thx for the company ☺
It's 1:30 p.m. here and I even hadn't breakfast. Just to say!
ReplyDeleteNow that was a challenge! Thanks for all the hints.
