Some of the "shapes" look like little clouds of poop. Not the best design.
ReplyDeleteFaint F=3 downstairs on upholstery. Looking for a 6-digit to be "Exit".
ReplyDeleteGoing in...
ReplyDeleteJust looked at the map. This one's pretty big. "Shapes" are for edge of bed one right of start.
ReplyDeletePretty sure the color puzzle is from the grid in start scene. Guess I'll go back at some point and get the order.
ReplyDeleteAnd "some point" is now. The locked door comes pretty quick in this one.
ReplyDeleteLoading.... Hey everyone!
ReplyDeleteNot understanding color puzzle. You can't seem to cross the middle line.
ReplyDeletelurker. for the F=3, count the lines in the letters in EXIT. it is 4 # and is just to the left of the clue u saw.
ReplyDeleteHi all.
ReplyDeleteThey've just repeated a clue from the last eightgames game. F3 + EXIT gives 4 digit hint.
small brown pieces blending with the floor in start scene
ReplyDeleteFound a book after placing all the ship symbols to help with numbered color codes.
ReplyDeleteSnap terry!
ReplyDeleteUse knob on cupboard in room where you place the ship symbols.
Thanks. Now I have 3 magnets and no ideas about the color buttons. I tried using them on the two color/digit combos. No luck, or I'm doing it wrong.
ReplyDeleteThen I'm missing 1 button.
ReplyDeleteMagnets go on a puzzle board for the other 4-digit clue.
ReplyDeleteUsed needle to jimmy open the drawer. 4 magnets.
ReplyDeleteDuh, use magnets on board with metal balls.
ReplyDeleteSneaky wooden pieces in the next rooms.
ReplyDeleteThe two sets of colors on the walls that need numbers are done by combining the book with the colors that u flip. use left side colors for the first puzzle and right side for the second one. I had to guess on a couple of them. I put in the ones i was sure of and BFd the others. hope that helps.
ReplyDeleteNot exactly sure what numbers I got out of the book, but they worked. Got the door key.
ReplyDeleteSneaky "wooden piece" at foot of stairs in sushi room on left.
ReplyDeleteIn the room with the stairway in the middle, there is a sneaky panel on the half wall to the left of the stairs.
ReplyDeleteAnd, door #2. Guess I'll review what I've got. Think I need one more button for the new wall thing.
ReplyDeleteThe green figure on the right of the flipping colours board is not a 2. I think it was 7.
ReplyDeleteanother sneaky panel below the painting in the room with an open book on the table.
ReplyDeleteUse torch in first scene past door #1.
ReplyDeleteFlashlight use on center wall in room above the blue sofa room
ReplyDeleteTY Methanwy. Trying to catch up with y'all.
ReplyDeleteStill need one more $ coin in 2nd set of rooms. Can't find any new hotspots with Tab.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure about the colored dots & lines puzzle. At first, I thought combining the shapes of the wooden pieces with the color clue from torch. No dice.
ReplyDeleteI'm still missing one piece of that set, I think. Are there 4?
ReplyDeleteColored dots with lines... clue is the torch. I think we need to make four squares, in each corner but my third button on the bottom row doesn't seem to work. can do squares with all the other, though
ReplyDeleteI think so. There's a sneaky one at the foot of the stairs.
ReplyDeleteI tried squares, too. :/
ReplyDeleteGlad I'm not the only one with a broken button in the bottom row. Tried the torch colors, no luck. I did get the sneaky piece by the stairs.
ReplyDeleteLizzie---you are right. You have to use shape of wooden pieces and colored dots
ReplyDeleteY'all are gonna need the walkthrough for that one. I had to see it and i still dont get it.
ReplyDeleteFound my last wood piece in the lines puzzle room on the right wall.
ReplyDeleteUse the shapes! It was tricksy & I should've snipped before my last move.
ReplyDeletehahah, lizzie. just about to say that but I dont have all the shapes yet.
ReplyDeleteGot it, but it felt more like luck than skill. Connect the top blue line to the yellow button above it.
ReplyDeleteso I wasted all that time at W/T and didnt work. I need the shape for blue
ReplyDeleteYou can't place the anchor buttons until you see the clue, right above them.
ReplyDeletegot it
ReplyDeleteFound my last two coins in tabbed hotspots.
ReplyDeleteI was about to say that door #3 is easier, but I haven't found the 3 for the puzzle yet.
ReplyDeleteWell, I had completely forgotten we needed a SD. Line puzzle room.
ReplyDeleteHammer for floor, not mirror. In same room. I can think of some other parts of this game I want to bash.
ReplyDeleteLooking for some gears...
ReplyDeleteI wanted to smash the statue.
ReplyDeleteUse torch again in last room on right.
ReplyDeletenm. Just need to move them around.
ReplyDeletePlace 4 gears according to the size of the pins. When it's correct, the safe opens for the final key. Finally out!
ReplyDeleteDone! Not as bad as I thought. The floating ball puzzle was kind of annoying, though.
ReplyDeleteEscaped...You guys were fast on commenting section today :)
ReplyDeleteTy for hints
very nice long game for this style - liked the water heights puzzle & like the fact that you need to find keys first to access new rooms - thx 8G & thx ppl for the hints above ☺
ReplyDeleteEight Games, I'll be totally honest with you -- sometimes your games are a bit crappy. This is not one of those times! Having to solve most of the puzzles before unlocking a door made the large map very manageable, I loved the music and scenery, items were not illogically and annoyingly separated from each other, the puzzles were pretty good, especially the water puzzle and the color shape puzzle. Clever and fun! Thanks for an enjoyable game, and thanks to players for the hints :)
