ReplyDeleteAfter turned blu 4x4 grid, turn it in blu/white as the left double hint (left side and right side). Then you can light the 2 white buttons and see other 2 symbols.
ReplyDeletePush the four symbols in according roman numbers on the top of the box.
After you've turned all the squares to blue, you can replicate the patterns on another face of the cube. Press the six-sided button after each pattern and you will get the yellow number

Well I escaped but not quite clean and clear.
ReplyDeleteI had the order ygbr. (Getting christmas, then christmas eve gave the first two. Guessed the next two).
I then had three digits associated with the colours and entered these into the 4digit number again and brute forced the other (blue) one and the box opened and I got a surprise and escaped.
I didn't get the blue box at all. I didn't see the shapes that others have reported (snowflake, shooting star etc).
Interesting...not exactly straight forward, but made it out.

ReplyDeleteif you push at the toppo of double 4x4 grid it open and you can see "star" and crown. If you light left or right exa button, you can see snowflake and shooting star.

A little confusing, but thanks for all the hints here. In hindsight, I see the logic behind everything. It was actually a pretty good game, IMO.
