ReplyDeletePuffin. I've just restarted to check and the same thing happened to me: the dog vanished. When I first played I didn't use the knife first on the dog, but on the bag. Maybe that has caused the bug.
ReplyDeleteDon't know why the dog sometimes disappears. Tried again and went straight to the knife then the dog. It worked fine. If the dog disappears you are doomed because he gives you a clue for gold green yellow which doesn't work without seeing the clue.
